Ook ik heb de drinkbeker met rietje gespaard bij AH. Wanneer je rechtshandig bent en het rietje niet wil gebruiken moet je hem met de linkerhand vasthouden . Erg onhandig .

Had our 60l (2x30l) pedal bin for 5yrs…
Had our 60l (2x30l) pedal bin for 5yrs bfr the pedal broke. Got in touch with the company and they replaced it in record time. Communication was excellent and they ve only asked for copy of purchase and some photos of our bin as one would expect. Really pleased with how easy and smooth the process was. We are very happy with our bin despite the fact that the pedal broke. It is really easy to clean and it looked prestine like we bought it yesterday. I would highly recommend
Great customer service
After making contact about a replacement part for an item under warranty I received a response within a matter of hours and then a follow up action the same day. Part was dispatched promptly and delivery update sent out .
Replacement
Although we discovered that my product was made in 2004, the service team were excellent in ensuring that I could buy a replacement lid.
Considering the high price for early models, the replacement seemed a real bargain - and an improvement.

Wat een fijne ervaring met Brabantia! Vanaf mijn eerste mail over de afvalzakken met code E werd ik snel en vriendelijk geholpen. Kim dacht actief mee, gaf een duidelijke uitleg en stelde direct een alternatief voor. Dat ik zonder moeite een proefrolletje mocht ontvangen om het zelf te testen, vond ik echt een mooie geste! Bovendien hield Brabantia me perfect op de hoogte van de verzending. Dit soort klantvriendelijkheid maakt het verschil – een warm en persoonlijk contact waar je blij van wordt. Dankjewel, Kim en Brabantia!
Nadeel
Mooi design, maar grootste nadeel is het niet hebben van een deksel voor op de Bo prullenbak. Wij moeten scheiden en hebben dus 3 verschillende vakken. Zodra de prullenbak opent komen de geurtjes al op je af. Een simpele deksel aan de binnenkant had dit kunnen voorkomen.

Terrible customer service
Purchased a titan oval iron board from Dunelm on the 25th of February 2025 at £99. My husband opened the board & it collapsed. It had the iron on top & nearly burnt him. We immediately took it back & we forgot to take a photo. We spoke to manager he took a picture of it and was sent to my email address. We received a refund. Was told it was up to Brabantia to sort it out. When I got home I received no photo. I contacted brabantia on their site enclosing the receipt & explaining what had happened. Jo Pursall was our point of contact. As we did not have no picture. She could only offer 10% off another board from their company.. Their iron board is £139. Few emails were exchanged . I had pointed out it that the iron board was dangerous & considering what had happened we had been passed from pillar to post as we were not listened to. She advised me that it was up to me to provide a photo of the iron board.
We again went to Dunelm asked to speak to Michael the original Manager. He was on leave. Luckily the board was still there. I took another picture. I sent it to Jo Pursall. Fobbed off again. She could see there was a problem but would not do anything. Still offering 10% off one of their boards. It’s a joke. The faulty board should be looked into? I advised her that we are pensioners and can ill afford to travel around again to look for another board. To date we still have no board & are out of pocket due to travelling to & from Dunelm.

Door onze zeer slechte ervaring met Brabantia over onze Soft Touch Bin Brilliant Steel te koop gevraagd een deksel als op bijgaande foto.
In het verleden, toen Brabantia nog stond voor kwaliteit, werd een defecte deksel GRATIS vervangen. (bedankt Toine!)
Maar helaas is men bij Brabantia afgestapt van het service-gericht denken en handelen.
Garantie? Ja, als je een aankoopbewijs kunt overleggen van een niet meer bestaand bedrijf (Blokker)
Wie bewaart er 10 jaar lang een bonnetje van een afvalbak?
Maar het wordt nog gekker, als je binnen deze 10 jaar een vervangende deksel hebt gekregen heb je hier geen garantie op, ondanks dat deze NIEUW is!
En als ik nou de enige was, nou nee. Vele honderden mensen die vertrouwen hadden in dit eens zo goede merk hebben en hadden hiermee te maken.
Van de 639 beoordelingen op Trustpilot is bijna 25% NEGATIEF! En bijna allemaal gaan ze over de zeer slechte kwaliteit en de daarbij behorende slechte klantenservice.
Wil je het nog gekker? Dan kijk maar eens via Trustpilot naar de link van hun webshop: 75% NEGATIEF!
En dan heb ik er nog niet eens de negatieve reviews uit het buitenland bijgeteld.
Als eigenaar / bestuurslid van dit bedrijf zou je toch je ogen uit je kop schamen met deze percentages?
Ik heb het idee, kijkend naar de verschillende namen van degene die mij geantwoord hebben, dat ze meer personeelsleden op de (geen)-service afdeling hebben werken dan bij de kwaliteitscontrole.
Terug naar het begin van deze advertentie, kwaliteit: deze producten werden in Nederland gemaakt maar als je nu op hun site kijkt: MADE IN CHINA!
Ja dan zou ik er ook geen garantie op durven geven….
Wederom volgens hun site over de deksel die ik zoek:
Gemaakt in: China, (volgens de Brabantia normen en waarden – is dat de reden dat er zoveel kapot gaat?)

Ringe kundeservice
Som sådan ok spande, men utrolig ufleksibel service. Sælger spande for sig selv, med montering på låger og indbygningsmoduler med spande. Men hvis man allerede har spande og gerne vil have indbygningsmodulet for sig selv vil de ikke hjælpe, man skal købe flere (præcis ens) spande.
Ordered a sensor bin from John Lewis
Ordered a sensor bin from John Lewis. Came in a damaged box all taped up. Bin was all scraped inside. Brabantia said it was then out of stock. Stock came in but wouldn’t give to John Lewis so had to send back.
Ordered one from Amazon came dented.
Won’t be ordering any more. Obviously selling damaged stock through other companies. Shame as I thought they were going to be good
Saving a 20 year old bin from the scrap heap
We have a number of Brabantia products which all seem built to last including a 30-litre kitchen bin that must be at least 20 years old.
Unfortunately the plastic flap on the touch lid broke so I was looking for a replacement bin and checked what was available on the Brabantia site.
On the off chance I looked in spares with little confidence considering the age of the bin but going through the easy box ticking exercise, based on illustrations, I was amazed to find what appeared to be a replacement lid so ordered one and it was despatched the following day.
The design has changed slightly. The original was slightly wedge shaped with a raised back while the new lid is flat - but it fits perfectly, it has the same touch lid mechanism and cost £20 with free postage from Belgium. The bin now looks new and should be good for another 20 years or so. I must admit I never thought a kitchen bin could become a family heirloom but rather like Trigger's broom it seems to be going on for ever which is a tribute to both Brabantia quality and remarkable range of spares.

Wasrek voor buiten roestte al na een paar weken. Heb ze gemaild met foto’s en al. Maar nooit meer een reactie gekregen. Je kan dus net zo goed iets goedkoops kopen.

J ai eu un problème de fils au bout d une semaine et la société n a pas voulu échanger une deuxième fois ce sechoir. Il m ont imposé l envoie de fils pour qu il ne soit plus pris en garantie derrière. Par contre je remercie mr bricolage Alençon qui a bien voulu prendre en charge ce problème alors qu ils sont juste revendeur.
Une honte pour la société BRABANTIA. je n achèterai plus jamais cette marque !
Kundenservice - was ist das?
Ich hatte bei Brabantia lediglich einige Müllbeutel bestellt, in der Hoffnung, dabei könne es bei einem solch renommierten Unternehmen keine Probleme geben. Bestellung und Versandbestätigung - alles in Ordnung. Was ich jedoch nicht wusste: Der Händler arbeitet mit dem Paketdienst dpd zusammen, also dem schlechtesten Paketdienst Deutschlands. Als ich dies anhand der Versandinfo von Brabantia erfuhr, ahnte ich schon Schlimmes. Da ich in Nordrhein-Westfalen wohne, ist der Transportweg von Brabantia in Belgien zu mir ja nun wirklich nicht weit. Doch dpd brauchte acht Tage, obwohl in diesem Zeitraum lediglich ein Feiertag lag. Laut Paketverfolgung wurde das Paket zunächst nach Marl geschickt, was ja auch in NRW liegt. Von dort aus ging es dann plötzlich in die Niederlande, wo ein paar Tage lang nichts mehr geschah. Dann war mein Paket plötzlich wieder in Marl und wurde mir von dort endlich zugestellt. Also, warum ein Unternehmen wie Brabantia mit solch einem miserablen Paketdienst zusammenarbeit, bleibt wohl Brabantias Geheimnis. Doch dies scheint dem Händler alles völlig gleichgültig zu sein. Auf meine Emails wurde jedenfalls nicht reagiert. Mein Fazit: Einmal Brabantia - nie wieder Brabantia!
