I ordered a Shaws kitchen sink, waste traps and overflows in April this year and the issues I have had have only just been sorted out now in September due to the Managing Director stepping in, Sam Hird who I am grateful for.

The staff I had been dealing with kept changing the goalpost saying one thing then asking me to do another it has been an absolute nightmare over something as stupid as sinks. Life is too short DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY they Never answer their phones and you rarely get an email back due to their very odd system they say they have which is most strange as the only company in the world I know that claims this system.

To clarify the order DID NOT "arrive on time and in full" as stated incorrectly below by the MD in direct reply to this feedback. Sam please check the trail on this order and you will see whatever you have been told by your team is incorrect. I spent many a day waiting in for a courier that didnt arrive.

The sales person called me after I had placed my order to say that the sink was showing in stock online but in fact wasn't and there was a few weeks delay in delivery now. That dragged on and on and hence caused numerous problems to re book the plumbers who had been lined up to fall in line with what the website was saying adding a few days for good measure. It was NOT straight forward as the company are suggesting below as they do not answer their phones or emails promptly hence you are left hanging for weeks not knowing what is going on and slightly worrying when you have placed a lot of money in their hands with nothing to show.

I have renovated houses all my life and never come across a company that works like this. I am so glad it's all over now.

What a waste of human worry and energy over sinks and a company that just cant look after their customers needs and communicate.

We ordered a sink and THEY sent us the wrong sink which was a nightmare as our kitchen worktop was being installed and the sink did not fit!. Made contact by email as their phone lines don’t work and was told that a courier would collect the sink last Thursday, heard nothing waited in all day on the off chance but no one showed. Still out of pocket, no collection of sink arranged and no refund. I wouldn’t recommend using this company because if there’s a problem they go quiet and keep your money!

Horrible, they didn’t deliver the product and in spite of listing a phone no one answers. Their email is an auto response that no one ever follows up on and their chat doesn’t work on their website. I think they don’t actually have any support, but they certainly have means to take your money.
It’s been 2 months,I never received the item, have tried to contact them more than 12 times and no one exists.
STAY AWAY…COMPLETE FRAUD

I strongly recommend avoiding this company.

They sent me the wrong product, yet refused to accept responsibility for their mistake. Despite providing evidence, they insisted that I pay the return postage myself and stated that they would hold my money until the item was returned to them in good condition.

Instead of simply acknowledging their error and resolving the problem professionally, they repeatedly refused to take responsibility. Even more concerning, after I posted my review, I received an email from the company which I found to be intimidating and completely inappropriate.

I have never experienced such a lack of accountability from a supplier. When a company makes a mistake, I expect them to acknowledge it and put things right — not make the customer pay for their error.

I have since purchased the correct product from another supplier at a lower price, and the experience has been much better.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from this company to look elsewhere. There are better, cheaper and more reliable suppliers available.

Easy to order my round toilet seat, arrived when they said it would and packed well to protect it from damage whilst been delivered. Great value for money as the same seat was nearly double the amount at a 'DIY' store.

SCAM!!! Do not order from this company. Ordered an item that still hadn’t arrived 2 months later despite assuring stock was due. Now trying to get a refund and still haven’t received that either.

Delighted with the quality Tavistock product I ordered from the British Bathroom company (Tavistock OrbitSF soft close quick release toilet seat) which was competitively priced. The toilet seat was extremely well packaged and was delivered safely and on time by DPD who are by far and away the most reliable and trustworthy delivery company in this area. I have struggled for weeks trying to find the right replacement product so thank you BBC after 2 abortive efforts with other companies!

I been looking to replace my old Roper Rhodes Wooden Toilet Seat for a while. I was pleased to have found an upgrade to my old one, this one is soft close and in the colour I had been looking for and at a very good price. It’s very comfortable and good quality.

Packaging and delivery was excellent too.

I placed an order over a month ago and paid in full at the time of purchase. Some of the items were due to be dispatched during the week commencing 31 August, but I still have not received them.

What is most frustrating is the complete lack of communication. I have sent two emails and made multiple phone calls, all without receiving a response or any update on the status of my order. As a paying customer, I would expect at least the courtesy of a reply.

Very disappointing service. Poor communication and no transparency whatsoever regarding my order.

The service was excellent from start to finish, with regular tracking updates so I always knew the progress of my delivery. The package arrived exactly on time. The product itself is great quality, came very well packaged to avoid any damage, and included full, easy-to-follow instructions. I would definitely use them again!

Great toilet roll holder looked like the picture and am very pleased as I couldn't find this anywhere else as it was sold out with other companies.

Delivered fine and was in super condition on arrival.

Quoted 4/5 days delivery to being delivered after 3 weeks. Phoned chasing and was told its being dispatched today you will get it tommorrow. It arrived a week later. Take everything they say with a pinch of salt

Update I actually recieved the goods on the 1st September not the 21st as they siad in their reply

Delivery was quick and the website easy to use. Would use again.

I ordered two bathroom hooks from this company in July ,they were grohe items so not cheap they were on back order expected in 2/3 weeks, I contacted them via e mail to enquire on an update left it a week but heard nothing back , a week later I finally got through on the phone and was told they would be in on Monday and then delivered, 2 wks later nothing , I contacted them via email again last week to request a delivery or refund again I have heard nothing, I have contacted them again today to request a full refund, I would not recommend this company, if they can’t even deliver these small items what would a bathroom be like !!

This is an absolutely "terrible" company DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM as on their website they state 2 - 5 days for delivery however when you order an item and it does not arrive their is no communcation or email advising of a delay. You then chase them and it takes them atleast another 2 days to reply stating the item will take another 2 - 3 weeks! You then cancel the order and they do not refund you in the 5 days they state they will refund you. In my opinion they just want to take your money and sit on it as long as possible and not deliver anything. I would have given this company no stars if possible so be warned!!

Recently purchased a Euroshowers Double Corner Wire Basket to replace my previous one as the chrome had started to tarnish (after 6 years). Chose the British Bathroom Company as they less than half the price of other well known outlets. Item arrived well packaged within just a few days of ordering by DPD. Received regular updates by email throughout. Great customer service and wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

Placed an order with this company on 4th August (15105). It didn't arrive within specified time, no update from the company. Cancelled the order on the 12th August, via their online system. No refund received. Contacted them via email on 20th August no response received. Tried on numerous occasions to telephone no one answers the phone. Now progressing with the bank. Definitely AVOID THIS COMPANY.
