Driving instructor - Daniel Bradley

Our daughter switched to Dan after some fairly negative driving experiences with other instructors and she wishes wholeheartedly that she'd have gone straight to him from the word go.

Dan was brilliant - he built her confidence up, enabled her to fall in love with driving again but most of all, he actually taught her things. Previously she'd had experiences of being told the general things she wasnt doing correctly and needed to get right, but never how to do these things.
From her first lesson with Dan the difference was so obvious. He was patient, kind but honest and made her feel so comfortable in the car.

Communication was fantastic and Dan was always happy to respond to messages from myself and my daughter.

Such was the difference that my daughter passed first time with Dan 🙌
His approach throughout has been incredible and I'd fully and highly recommend him...we'll definitely be using him when it's our sons turn!

I’m really pleased to have passed my manual driving test with Jayce at BSM. He was professional, calm and very supportive throughout my lessons, which really helped build my confidence. I especially appreciated his flexibility — he accommodated early 6:00/6:30 am lessons and even managed short notice bookings when possible. Jayce explained everything clearly and made sure I properly understood each skill, not just for the test but for safe driving overall. Thanks to his professional guidance, I felt fully prepared on the day. I would highly recommend Jayce to anyone learning to drive.

Recently I passed my practical test first time around in Burgess Hill. I found my lessons with Matt Richardson (through the AA driving school) very encouraging and supportive when learning. My instructor definitely helped me to build confidence and skills when driving, and ensure that I was test ready by doing lots of mock tests in our lessons. I also think our discussions about managing nerves helped me to pass my practical with very few minors, as I was able to overcome challenging situations.

I had a fantastic experience learning to drive with Matt Richardson through AA Driving School in Haywards Heath. Matt always had a very positive attitude towards teaching, was incredibly patient, and shared a huge amount of knowledge that really helped build my confidence behind the wheel. His calm and supportive approach made every lesson enjoyable and productive. I highly recommend Matt to anyone looking for a professional, friendly, and reliable driving instructor.

My experience with BSM has been flawless from beginning to end - my instructor did an amazing job at helping me to progress quickly within the time-frame I gave him. James was adaptable to my way of learning and was just a delightful person to be around during the entire process. He is efficient when it comes to lessons and has a great way of teaching, with emphasis on being a safe and thoughtful driver over merely learning ways to pass a test. I’m very grateful for James and all the effort he put into wanting me to feel confident as a driver too. If all the instructors at BSM are as good as him, then I don’t have anything bad to say!

Baqir is a wonderful instructor, he really boosted my confidence and is a clear communicator that made me comprehend exactly what I needed to understand. I had many instructors in the past but he was truly the only skilled one that helped me pass and boosted my confidence as a driver.

Just passed today on my second try, really felt like I should’ve passed on my first go but was unlucky with nerves thats it. Want to thank my instructor Damir for a pleasant experience I always looked forward to my lessons and was a pleasure to learn from, never gave up on me and felt like he wanted it for me as much as I wanted it for myself!

Zoltan Kazincsi is a great driving instructor. He is very precise and makes sure you check everything you need to be doing and is very nice. He helped me pass first time with only 2 minors.

I am beyond disappointed with the service we received from BSM. We hired an instructor through them for my son’s driving lessons, only to later discover that he had not even passed his final qualifying exam. He subsequently quit, leaving my son completely in the lurch and forcing us to pay another driving company to get him back up to speed before his test as he missed weeks of lessons due to the lack of notice.

BSM’s response? To “fob us off” by saying the instructor was self-employed. That simply isn’t good enough. Regardless of employment status, they trade under the BSM name, lessons are booked and paid for directly through their website, and customers are entitled to transparency. At the very least, we should have been informed that the instructor was still in training and could potentially fail and leave at any time. That is basic consumer fairness. They also promised to sort a new instructor ans kept saying it was on us to call back every week to see if they had found one. Low and behold they had not.

To make matters worse, the instructor was not honest about the reason he left. When I later posted on social media looking for a new instructor — without naming or criticising the individual in any way — his girlfriend thought it appropriate to respond with laughing emojis. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Whether BSM class their instructors as self-employed or not, this behaviour reflects directly on the company whose name they operate under.

BSM are quick to take payment through their website, but when something goes wrong they do everything possible to deny responsibility. Customers should not be left out of pocket because of their poor oversight and lack of accountability.

I believe we are due at the very least a partial refund for the disruption, additional costs, and unacceptable handling of this situation. If this is not rectified, I will be pursuing a claim through my bank and providing all supporting evidence of the instructor’s and his partner’s conduct.

I would strongly advise others to think carefully before booking lessons through BSM.

Scott Reynolds has been super helpful and has given me more than I could’ve asked for with regard to my driving experience. He provided excellent advice and learning and helped me pass my driving test - definitely would recommend!

Beware the scammer Angelika Kitlasz, she has barely passed her exams, terrible teacher, parks outside with you for over half the lesson to save on fuel whilst talking about her failed model career or the pilots she slept with as a air hostess and tries to drag out lessons more than is needed according to dvla guidelines just to line her pocket. My sister had over 30 lessons with this rip off merchant and she has not bothered to even begin teaching a single manoeuvre. Am sure most BSM drivers are professional and not like Angelika but this one everyone should avoid like the plague.

I got a trainee instructor- which in normal circumstances would be absolutely fine. However, this guy was constantly looking at is phone, I don’t mean just checking messages occasionally, he was watching entire scenes from sitcoms with audio on. This obviously affected his ability to offer feedback on my driving and made me feel unsafe.

I think he eventually got fired, but he had been a trainee with BSM for ant least a year and taught me for a few months which raises questions about how well they are vetting and supervising trainees.

I was pleased to find any driving instructor with weekend/evening availability so stayed with him way longer than I should have. He was also chronically late for my lessons (up to an hour sometimes).

I had John Guilfoyle as my driving instructor and I honestly couldn’t recommend him enough! He helped me progress super quickly as I was test-ready in just over two months of lessons with him, which led to me passing first time.

John is super friendly, patient, and instructs you in a way that you’ll retain the tips he’s given, which made such a difference to my confidence and progression behind the wheel. He consistently went above and beyond in every lesson, making sure I fully understood everything and felt comfortable before moving on. He also thoroughly explains what to expect on your test and flags things on test routes (which he takes you around!) that tends to catch people out.

Not only is he a fantastic instructor, but he also makes lessons enjoyable and engaging. I’m so grateful for all his support and guidance - genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Highly recommend!

Lewis Atkins is an excellent driving instructor and I would highly recommend him to anyone. I passed my test first time, and learning with him was a very positive and fun experience. He’s funny, down to earth, and patient, which made such a difference. Every lesson felt productive but relaxed, and I always felt like I was making real progress. He also gave me a lot of useful tips and tricks. If you’re looking for an instructor who genuinely cares and wants you to succeed, Lewis is your guy! Thank you so much Lewis, I’d give 20 stars if I could.

I had Baqir as my instructor and could not recommend more. He was super helpful, understanding and good at explaining areas that I needed to improve. Would 1000% recommend the company and especially him.

I cannot recommend Scott Reynolds highly enough. He was a great instructor and very patient. He created a calm environment to learn in as well as making sure that any mistakes were corrected promptly to ensure that I was ready for my test. He helped to grow my confidence with driving so I am excited to get driving now that I have passed. I very grateful to Scott for all of his support and cannot recommend him enough.

Syed abid raza was completely unprossional as well as bsm
Booked my lesson on 8th feb 2026 cancelled my lesson without notice as he was on holidays and bsm failed to inform him of the lesson times.

Syed rescheduled my lesson for 14th feb without notice only notice this on 8th of feb during lesson time while checking the bsm app.

Bsm and syed response is they notified while messages and email regarding reschedule which is completely not true as no one informed me.

I had taken time off work specially for the lesson which got wasted.

When messaged syed he was not even aware of the lessons or myself as a student to him.

When I changed from 14th feb to 11feb.

I got a message from syed that I was suppose to text him ( what type of professional trainer does this)
I had completely lost trust in him even before starting.

I contracted bsm and they put 48 hours policy for cancelling the lesson and informed I will be charged

Again forcing me to go with a trainer I am not comfortable with.

Bsm refusing to help and assist.
I have now requested refund for the prepaid hours I have taken. Which they haven't released including the booked hours .

I will be taking a legal action as I got all screenshots of syed bsm beth (advisor)

I passed my driving test today thanks to my driving instructor Ralph Hart who had to step in for my previous instructor who decided that he was not making enough money from the area I live in. Ralph taking over was a blessing and I am thankful to my fellow brother for getting me through it all.

100% recommended this man if you want to pass easily.

Posting on behalf of my son. He had a great experience learning with Peter Cogger through BSM. Peter is a brilliant instructor, always calm, professional and very friendly. He was incredibly understanding of my son's situation and really adapted to his way of learning which made a huge difference to his confidence and helped him pass his test :) Peter was flexible and supportive throughout the whole process. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a patient and top-tier instructor. Thanks again for everything Peter!
