My experience with Burke Decor in 2024 has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. While my first order eventually arrived after a significant delay, my subsequent orders never shipped. Despite numerous emails with their customer support team and repeated assurances of a refund, I have yet to receive one. I wish I had done more research prior to trusting their beautiful website and advertisements as it's clear from the reviews on BBB and Google that my experience is not unique.

A professional and reputable business should deliver on its promises, whether that means fulfilling orders or processing refunds in a timely manner. Unfortunately, Burke Decor has failed on both fronts. If you’re considering making a purchase, I highly recommend looking elsewhere to avoid unnecessary hassle and financial loss.

Wish I had seen these other reviews before purchasing from Burke Decor. I purchased an item in December 2024 and returned it promptly because the color of the item was different than the photograph. I had to pay for shipping out of my own pocket. I received confirmation from Burke Decor that the return was received and refund would be issued. It is January 30th, 2025 and I still have not gotten a refund. Burke Decor claims their finance team is too small to process refunds in a timely manner, however it's been over a month for my refund. They have not responded to my last email asking for refund so I've reported them to my credit card company, BBB and here so that others can be warned.

In November and December of 2023, I placed 4 additional orders. One of them was partially fulfilled, but the company still owes me 3 rugs. The other 3 orders were never delivered.

It has now been over a year since I placed these orders, and I have been requesting a refund for more than 8 months. Initially, they responded, claiming they were working on the issue, but now they no longer reply to my messages.

I placed an order in October 2023 for a back-ordered item that was supposed to ship in January 2024. The date kept getting pushed back, so I canceled my order in April 2024. It's now January 2025, and I have not received a refund, even after sending multiple emails to the "customer service" team.

Burke Decor used to be a reliable company that I had ordered from many times with no problems, but something has changed, and it now feels like a fraud. Everything they sell is from third-party vendors, mostly using a drop-ship business model, so do yourself a favor and order from a trustworthy site.

Ordered a stool in March - promised delivery in June, then pushed it to October. Every month since June 24 they have lied in email stating they would give me a refund. Liars and cheaters - do not do business with them. Then googled them - she filed for bankruptcy last June. Money is lost.

They kept saying my order was backordered so I canceled it after waiting 3 months. They never refunded my money. It has been 6 months since I canceled. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

COMPLETE SCAM! I ordered a rug in March 2024. It was to be shipped in July, then it was delayed until October but it NEVER arrived. I asked for a refund in November but I keep receiving this reply:
"Our accounting team is working diligently to resolve the issues related to the refund processing system change. Your refund has been escalated with the accounting team." BEWARE of this company!

I would give less than ZERO stars. This is complete FRAUD and theft. I ordered an item for $339 11 months ago, was told 6 months ago they would not be sending the item as it was unfillable, and have been gas lit about a refund since.

I bought double walled mugs as a present for my wife in February 2024. They said it would take a while to ship (6 weeks). I checked in with them at about 8 weeks to see if they would ship and they said it would ship by end of May 2024. I checked back in at the end of May and they said it would ship by August, and at this point I asked for a refund. They said they could do that, but give it a couple weeks.

At the end of that time, I reached out again, and they told me again that they had issued the refund and that it would show up in a couple weeks. I waited and nothing. We went back and forth until finally they said they didn't have my card information, and made me fill out a form to receive a check in the mail that would come in about a couple of months. That was 4 months ago.

I have had to hound them at every single step of the way and they have the absolute worst customer service and I have not received any refund at all. It has been almost a full year since I tried purchasing this product from them, and at this point I have had it. I am still hounding them to this day to get my refund, but they are doing everything in their power to push me off and push me off until I stop contacting them so they can keep my money. This company is a scam that won't send any product, and will just take your money with no refunds. NEVER BUY FROM BURKE DECOR. PERIOD. I will never buy here ever again, and I make it a point to tell ALL of my friends and family to never make a purchase at Burke Decor. I figured I should write a review to warn others of this experience and how scummy of a company Burke Decor is.

I've filed a report to the FTC and recommend everyone who has a problem like mine do the same so we can shut down this scam of a company.

We purchased several furniture items from this company. They lied about when we would receive them. Some items took longer than 6 months. Upon placing an order I cancelled one item because I found it wouldn’t fit in the space. They promised me a refund but I never got it. I had to dispute the charge with the bank. They kept telling me it would come but it never did. Unfortunately, I’m having to deal with this a second time now. After 6 months of receiving a couch it is splitting at the seam. They denied any responsibility, said it was wear and tear. I contacted the manufacturer and they issue Burke Decor a refund. They apparently convinced Burke Decor to give us a refund. Burke Decor said they would refund what I paid for the couch but never did. Now they went dark and don’t respond to emails and they never answer the phone. Don’t buy from them, it’s a lot of aggravation and zero customer service. And if the furniture is damaged they won’t take care of you. Horrible company.

FILE A LEGAL COMPLAINT AGAINST THIS COMPANY, IT IS A SCAM!!!

I am writing to dispute a charge of $3,910.00 from Merchant BURKE DECOR made on 2/13/24.

I purchased a coffee table, light pendant, side board, and coffee table from Burke Decor in this order ORDER 879391.

I NEVER RECEIVED furniture. I finally requested a refund back in JULY 2024 after waiting since February for these pieces. I was sent automated responses after emailing several times checking in: I have not received any sort of refund and this order was placed in Feb 2024. I was told I would receive a check and I have not received anything. I've contacted the OH AG in addition to several other consumer protection groups for this refund fraud.

This has been ongoing since July of this year and I have never received any refund and not have been provided with any updates on when I will get my refund. It has been extremely stressful and I will be writing everywhere to never use this company.

I agree with all the reviews. I placed an order with Burke Decor in January 2024. Months of them telling me the merchandise will ship in the next week. Finally in August 2024 they informed me that they cancelled the order that they couldn’t fulfill. I have been trying since to get my refund. They responded they they couldn’t refund my credit card because of “security issues”. I asked for a check, still nothing. I too wish I read the reviews before engaging with this company.

I reported to my credit card. They said they couldn’t do anything because of the time frame. Very disappointed with them too. I also reported to Better Business Bureau. They said the company would not respond, but they noted the issue.

How come this continues with this company. What can we all do to get our money back?

I placed an order in April 2024, and no delivery is in sight. Every month since, when I proactively reach out about the shipment, I'm told it's delayed another month. I'm currently looking at a February delivery, even though the website says the item is available in 1-3 weeks (Dec-Jan). I have no faith I will ever receive the item I ordered. Customer service apologizes for the frustration, but does not confirm whether this product will ever ship. Wish I read the reviews sooner.

Would give them zero if I could - like a lot of other people - because they take your money but don’t ever send the item. When you complain about not receiving an order, the response is always that your item is coming. I’ve been “waiting” almost a year, I put that in quotes because I know I’m never going to receive the item. Don’t know why they even bother to respond to inquiries about orders since they never intend to send anything. Might as well just write back “Sorry, sucker!”

Horrible experience. They have had over $5000 of my money for 9 months! I purchased 8 chairs from Burke on March 9th 2024. Two different kinds of Four Hands chairs for a total of over $5,000. On April 9th I was told one kind of chair was not available and on April 10th told over $3000 would be refunded to me. It was not. On August 26th after many check ins and assurances the chairs were coming from Burke, I was told the other chairs were now not available and I would be refunded in full. Even though these exact chairs were available on other sites! I again informed them I still had not received the previous refund. I was then assured I would be refunded the full amount on Nov 13th in 7-14 business days. After checking in multiple times I have not been refunded. Do not buy from this company!

In reply to your comment I would not be comfortable (nor should I have to) share this information with you on this platform. I originally ordered 6 Four Hands Penny Dining Chairs and 2 Four Hands Amur Dining Chairs in APRIL 2024! I have been in contact with Client Services and they have everything they need to fully refund me, yet refuse to. My last communication with them was on Dec 18th 2024 and this was their response:
Thank you for your continued patience. I have reached out to our financial team and asked them to put a rush on this refund for you. I am so sorry for the delay!

I still have not been refunded. Nor will you work with the BBB to work it out with me. I am currently seeking legal advice. I will keep this thread updated as to how things progress.

Wish I had read these reviews sooner. Order wallpaper samples 10/8/24. They told me they would ship in December. Cancelled the order and am still fighting for my $50 credit which, from what I am reading, will never receive. Total scam company and I think the good reviews are probably scams too. Guess I'm lucky I'm only out $50. Stay away from this company!

Tableware and mugs were surprisingly well made and very unique, I love the neutral tones and they feel handmade. Very happy with our purchases.

UPDATE: their team replied to this review offering to further help, but I have been in contact with their customer support team for 2 months now and they continually tell me their finance team is small and is still working on issuing a check for my refund. It’s ridiculous. They initially quoted I would receive my refund within 14-21 business days. Nearly 40 later and still nothing, after waiting 8 months without receiving my product that showed as in stock. FRAUD.

DO NOT ORDER FROM BURKE DECOR. YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE YOUR PRODUCT. I set up a trade account for my design business with Burke Decor and regret ever ordering for them. I placed an order for a rug for a client project on 4/22/24, with the item showing as in stock and ready to ship within 7-10 business days. Given it was directly shipping to my client, I didn't think much of it until she notified me nearly 2 months later that it never arrived. I contacted Burke Decor customer support and they informed me it was backordered (despite the website NEVER indicating this at the time of purchase) and that it would ship in August. Of course, the August estimate was missed and when I followed up they then said November. Go figure, I reach out again in early November and they now say January. I requested a refund at that point, and they provided me a link to have a check mailed? I also own a retail business and issuing credits for returns or cancellations is not difficult to do. The fact that I have to request either an ACH payment (and provide my banking info - no thanks) or a physical check that they say will take 14-21 business days to arrive is ridiculous. I requested the check to try to protect my banking information, and go figure they missed that timeline estimate too. I am now in contact with my credit card company to reverse the charge. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SCAM BUSINESS.

Burke Decor is beyond terrible.
Would NOT issue a credit on two lamps that I never received.After over 6 month reached out to my Credit Card Co. got a credit but what did Burke Decor do rebilled me negating the credit billed $660.00 and never received product or a credit. SCAMMERS!!!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! I purchased a simple magnet MONTHS ago. I have not received any follow up emails or messages. I have spoken with their customer service only to be told it is on back order and will be here in November, I ordered in June. It is now late November, now it is supposed to be here in January. I have requested a refund. Horrible company.
