STAY AWAY

Run, son’t walk away from these absolute scammers!! I purchased a pillow for $200 at the end of April that was never delivered. There is no way to contact them other than by email. When I wrote to let them know I never received the pillow, I was sent a form email back stating that I would be hearing from them within 48 hours once they conducted their investigation. It’s been over a month and I still haven’t heard a word from them. I contested the charge with my credit card company and yet Burke is continuing to insist they sent the pillow. I can’t imagine what fraudulent records they have concocted to try and convince the credit card company that they have delivered the pillow but whatever it is that they used to prove their case, is fictitious and fraudulent. I only wish I had done my research ahead of time and seen all of the negative reviews they have received here and on the BBB website. These people are crooks and deserve to be shut down once and for all.

SCAMMERS! BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE.... I LOST $450
I placed and order on 12/5/2023 for an in stock item that became a backordered item. Even though they continued to advertise it as an in stock item. Two months later still no items. I asked for a refund they said they refunded my credit card which never appeared on my bank statement. I asked for proof. They even sent me a fake refund invoice. This process took months and many many emails! STAY AWAY...

BUYER BEWARE

I ordered a coffee from Burke Decor on May 10th. The website said that this item was in-stock and ready to be shipped with 1-2 weeks. I have received ZERO information about a shipping carrier like the website promised. I have emailed numerous times and politely asked for an update on this item. I finally found a customer service line to call, which was not easy to locate, and have received zero call back. It goes straight to voicemail and basically says that, "If you are a persistent customer, we will push you to the back of the line for assistance." WOW. Warm your friends to NOT purchase from this company. Total scam and disappointment. I'd have to agree with one of the reviews below saying that this company is acting like a business going bankrupt.... Very disappointed. Working with my bank to get a refund because I can't get ahold of these people

Charged me, merchandise never shipped or received

I have inquired about my orders several times, and have request a refund/credit to my credit card. I was promised 3 times it would be processed.

There are 2 orders, one outstanding for more than a year. My card was charged when ordered, one item backlogged, the other stated it was in stock. Neither one received.

The customer service at this place is horrendous. We ordered something that was delayed to the point that keeping the order made no sense. So, we cancelled the order and they told us our refund would be promptly made. Despite multiple emails and countless voicemails (you can’t get anyone on the phone), it’s now over 6 weeks later and still no sign of a refund, and we had to bring our credit card company into the process. Sure, they have nice furniture, but many other places do, too, and there is no reason a customer should ever have to work this hard to get their money back.

RIP OFF COMPANY- BUYER BEWARE- HOLD YOUR WALLET CLOSE

THIS IS A RIP OFF COMPANY- I purchased 4 Levi Swivel Chairs - $$$$-in January. First i was told they would arrive in March. Then i received an email due to "huge demand" production in China has delayed with delivery til June. I have called and written multiple times - to cancel my order and get my money back to no avail. No one responds ever. The phone number is bogus. Meanwhile I have seem the exact same chair for sale on multiple other websites- clearly no production delay. I even called one- they have over 100 of those chairs in stock! I can't cancel without proof of receipt, I can't talk to anyone to gt a refund. I have never experienced a company with such an extensive set of lovely items to sell that is essentially set up to trick customers and steal from them. HORRIBLE.

SCAM!!!! BEWARE!!! ROBBED ME OF ALMOST $3,000

I ordered a chandelier in November 2023, with expected delivery mid January. I was charged then. Didn't arrive. Every month I would check in and they had excuses for why it was being pushed back. They even told me they received the item but it didnt "pass inspection" and I can expect it late may.

Now I can't even get a reply over email or anyone on the phone. I went to their instagram and there are hundreds of messages from people experiencing the same. (reddit as well). OH ALSO, the item isnt even sold on the website anymore. AND THEY CHARGED ME IN NOVEMBER

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. Beware!!!

Waiting for my $350+ back... 5 months later

I purchased an item at Burke Decor online on December 6, 2023 and cancelled the order as of December 28, 2023 due to shipping delays. Since then, I still have NOT received a refund as of May 23, 2024 (5+ months later) - despite having 10+ email exchanges with their Customer Service team over the past 5 months. My last email reaching out was April 28, 2024 (~1 month ago) and they still have not responded.

Google Burke - you won’t order

This company is behaving like one on the verge of bankruptcy - taking orders, retaining customer funds and never issuing refunds. Do yourself a favor and google this company before you place an order - you will see many stories similar to mine.

On February 5 I ordered a coffee table with a promised delivery date of mid March.

On March 20 I inquired and was told that the product had “quality control issues” and would now ship in May.

I contacted the vendor directly and they indicated that there were no issues, and Burke had never responded to them about delivering the product when it was available

On April 9 I was promised a refund in 7-14 business days. It didn’t show up. In May 6 I asked again and was promised 7 days. I just followed up and they said another 7 days.

I have already contacted my credit card company - but this company must be stopped from its pattern of fraudulent behavior.

I am now contacting the Ohio AG and the FTC. I will also be investigating possible actions against the founder Erin E. Burke. I will be sharing this information with others who have been defrauded.

The vendor has been kept informed and no longer does business with Burke.

Currently owed $2,871.00!!!!!

Currently owed $2,871.00!!!!!! I ordered two pendants and a dining room table back in Jan where all items were to be delivered by March. I was able to cancel the pendants in March but STILL have not received compensation. After several attempts at communication I was finally able to cancel the dining table since they kept moving the date (currently June). I have reached out atleast 10-15 times regarding refunds. NO one is responding to me.

I wish I could give ZERO stars

I wish I could give ZERO stars. I placed an order for 2 nightstands in November 2023 that said they'd be shipped out in early March. I messaged them a couple times just to get updates and the first time they told me they'd be delivered late February and then another time late March. Then they emailed me on February 29 saying that they'd be delayed until mid/late June. They gave me a $50 gift card, which I told them to just put that towards the nightstands. They agreed and said it would be reflected in my account. I checked my account and it was never refunded. At this point, I'd received an email that my nightstands were shipped out on April 23 and arrived in Greensboro, NC on May 2. They have not made any progress for the last few weeks. I reached out to Burke about my $50 and to get an update. They said they'd reach out to finance about my refund and that there was freight congestion but should be resolved in 5-10 days! I decided to call the carrier myself. I spoke to a woman in charge of Burke Decor's account. She informed me that anything regarding Burke Decor would have to be addressed by them. I asked her if she knew what was actually going on and if she just wasn't allowed to tell me and she said yes.

They're clearly hiding something from their customers. I paid over $1200 for nightstands that are probably just sitting in a truck/warehouse. I asked for a refund and now no one is responding. I will be contacting my credit card company to try and resolve this issue.

Whatever you do, don't buy from Burke Decor!

Terrible customer service

Zero follow up. Zero response to inquiries about late orders or tracking. I’d give zero stars if I could. What a terrible first time experience I’ve had with this company. I ordered MANY wallpaper samples and was told a delivery time of 7-14 days. That was a month ago. Then I was told that the samples “come from a different warehouse so that there is no tracking.” What? I’ve followed up several times since. There is no phone support (just an answering machine) and I haven’t gotten any responses. From reading these other reviews it appears I am not alone.

PRODUCT NO LONGER IN STOCK, NO REFUND GIVEN.

I ordered 2 identical chairs from the Burke Decor website on 02/29/2024. The 2 identical chairs were no longer in stock. I promptly asked for a refund. The customer service representative "Alexis" wouldn't facilitate a refund, only stated that my request would be sent to the "Finance Team." I did not receive a response from anyone at Burke Decor, so after approximately 2-weeks of waiting, I contacted Burke Decor again inquiring about my refund. This time, another customer representative replied to my email, "KC" and said that the request would be sent to the "Finance Team" and again, I received no further response from Burke Decor regarding my request for a refund. Finally after more than a month of waiting. I completely lost faith in Burke Decor's ability to facilitate a refund as I felt like I was ignored. So, I opened a dispute case with PayPal, the form of payment I used to pay for this order and finally received a refund from PayPal on 04/25/2024. This is
nearly 2-months after the order was initially placed.
I would strongly advise anyone AGAINST ordering ANYTHING from Burke Decor.

How is this company still in business? I was promised a refund for a product that never shipped (ordered November 2029). They told me in February I'd be refunded. It's May and there's no refund. My bank is working to get my money back, so I reported them to the BBB and State of Ohio (since that's where that company is registered). There's even a Reddit thread all about this scam of a company so if you're still thinking you won't be scammed, Google that first.

Been waiting on an order now for 6…

Been waiting on an order now for 6 months and they keep saying all the pieces (including small objects) are delayed… I maybe get the large mirror if it’s coming from overseas but now I just feel like they are never going to send anything. Customer services is a bot and a joke

STAY AWAY FROM BURKE DECOR!

I ordered a rug in Jan 2024 that was supposed to ship mid Feb. By mid March, I emailed about my order and was told the new shipment date is May 2024. I had previously received a very over priced, poor quality lamp from Burke Decor so at this point, I just canceled my order. That was March, it's now May and I have emailed 4 times for my $1248.00 refund and get the same response each time "our processors are behind, please wait 7-14 business days". I'm on the 4th cycle of 7-14 business days. I reported it to Paypal. This company is either in REALLY bad shape or this is a total scam.

SCAM, FRAUD, AND WILL NOT PROVIDE PROMISED REFUNDS

This supplier did not respect delivery deadlines and owes us two refunds for orders that arrived DAMAGED. One refund is over 1 year late and the second is 4 months late. They promise refunds and then never answer you after. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

Burke Decor stole my money

Placed an order January 1st 2024 for a dining room table from Burke Decor. They kept pushing the delivery date out, end of January, mid-Feb, late March early April. I canceled the order and asked for a refund $1,469. Never got the refund, they told me wait 10-14 business days, didn't happen. Finance team is very busy wait another 3 days, didn't happen. Finance team is small and behind wait another 5 days, didn't happen. Asked again for my refund, no response. Tried to call, no response... Filed a complaint with the better business bureau they have 10 days to respond. This place is a total scam.
Update- Burke reached out told me they can’t issue a credit back to my card, but if I filled out a form they would ACH the funds back to me. I filled out the form and BIG surprise NO PAYMENT! Another lie. Avoid this company at all cost. They will rip you off.
