WORST EXPERIENCE!!!

SCAM!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I made a purchase in December 2023 that was listed “ready to ship” and never came. By March 2024 I reached out to cancel my order and receive a refund (HUNDREDS of dollars). They responded that my order has been cancelled but the refund never came. I keep reaching out via email, they told me I could expect my refund in “7-14 business days” then another “5 business days” then another “3 business days” then “we’re sorry, you’ll have your refund shortly.” It is now mid May 2024 and no product, no refund. BEWARE OF THIS CONPANY!!!! THIS IS FRAUD!

This company is horrible! Stay away!!!

This company is horrible!! Stay away!! I continue to get the runaround regarding an order I placed back in January, with their excuse being, “Delays are predominantly caused by factors that are outside of our control.” That is pathetic. First, they said I would receive my order in March, then I followed up this week, and now it's July. They are just awful with poor communication. There should be a class action against this company.

These people are committing fraud!

These people are committing fraud. They lie and steal your money. I ordered a cabinet January 30th. My story is long because I was first promised a refund for a gift card that didn’t go through when my transaction processed. I was distracted for months with their fake promises & lies trying to get that refund. The cabinet was supposed to ship in 2-3 weeks. I finally realized I’m never going to get the cabinet and have asked for a full refund. No reply from their “finance team” after 2 weeks. Opened a dispute with my credit card company, sending letters to OH attorney general and BBB. I’m so fed up. Still getting marketing emails from them constantly and the cabinet I ordered is still showing on their website it will ship in 2-3 weeks! This is criminal activity! Deceptive advertising & they are full on liars. I wish I could give them zero stars! I’ve heard they delete bad reviews on other sites so I’m grateful for Trustpilot.

DO NOT FALL for their replies saying how they resolved everything. You will have to resolve it yourself with your credit card company.

No refund given for my purchase

In 2023 I purchased two items from Burke decor, a chair and a credenza. I tried to cancel the credenza before it shipped ( was back ordered) and when I called I was told it was shipping so it was too late. This was contrary to the emails I was receiving stating that it wasn’t yet ready to ship. Strange. Anyway, the items were eventually delivered and I was unhappy with the chair. The leather on it is a different color than pictured and described on the website,
and wasn’t what I wanted. I contacted the store right away via email to ask for a refund. I heard nothing back. I then emailed a second time, followed by a phone call (left a message) and never heard back. It was a $1600 chair, and to this day I was never been contacted or refunded my money. I will not purchase from them again.

Ghosted by Burke after refund confirmed, 5 months since order

I placed an order for 2 items totaling $857.60 on January 3, 2024 that were supposed to ship within 4 to 6 weeks. After 6 weeks I reached out to the company to confirm when my items would ship - at that time they told me it would not ship until late March or early April (12-14 weeks from my date of purchase). I reached out again in late March for an update on the status of my order. At that time I was told the items would not ship until late April. I replied asking to cancel my order and receive a full refund. Burke Decor replied to me confirming my order had been canceled and I would receive a full refund within 7-14 business days. On the 14th business day after they confirmed my cancellation, I did not receive a refund, so I again reached out to confirm my full refund. I received no response so I emailed them twice more to confirm my refund ASAP. I received no response. Burke Decor provides only an email address to contact customer service, and the phone number listed on their business profile is not connected.

2 Chances to Get it Right

I gave this company two chances before making a judgement. With my first order, the item was marked in-stock and never shipped. Although frustrating that this wasn’t communicated before I placed my order, Burke Decor did refund me.

My second order had a backorder date of a few weeks after I placed my order. When the items hadn’t shipped in months, I contacted customer support again for a refund. The team assured me that the refund would be processed within the next 7 to 10 business days, which never happened. I went back-and-forth with the company for months who kept assuring me that they were “escalating” my request before having to contact my bank to *actually* escalate the claim. Burke Decor never responded to the dispute and I was able to get my money back from my bank, but I have zero trust in this company after this second incident.

I’ve read the bad reviews of Burkedecor but my experience has been the opposite. Products received quickly. I’ve ordered from them a few times. This last time, there was an issue with the packaging during shipment. I sent a photo and the customer care folks replaced it without hesitation.

Do not order from Burke Decor

I ordered a ~$2K dining table from Burke Decor Feb 18th, wasn't told a delivery date, but with most business models these days, items come in a few weeks, so I assumed it would. The site said it was in stock. I began contacting them after I heard nothing by mid-March. I was getting a voicemail (shocking enough in itself, who doesn't have reps that answer their phones?) that mentioned "the holidays" twice. In mid-March. So then I was concerned. I sent an email to Customer Service. The email said I would get a response in a few days. I heard nothing for a few weeks, followed up again, and finally got an email several weeks later saying it should ship in early-mid-April, which was coming right up. Mid-April came and went, nothing. I emailed a few more times, got no response. Finally called again and got a rep on the phone who told me it now looked like it would ship in late June to arrive early July. I said forget it, I want to cancel the order. They said they would place the request for cancelation and I should receive an email. I actually did receive the email a day or so later and then was told I'd receive the refund in 7-14 days. I haven't yet received it and am concerned I won't based on other reviews, but I will try to update my post if I do or don't receive it. But joke was on me - I found the same table was available on Perigold, Wayfair, etc, a number of other sites. Ordered from Perigold and got it within 2 weeks.

Scam artists

Scam artists! Stay as far away from this company as you can. Look at their latest email:

“In an effort to streamline communications, we currently do not have phone support available. We understand that not being able to contact us on the phone can be frustrating and we apologize for any inconvenience. We are looking to re-activate phone services in the coming months.”

They were very quick to take my money for a pair of lamps and then after weeks of waiting, when I emailed to check, they said they are no longer available, and I’ve now been waiting for more than a month to get my money back. Stay away!!!!

I have to vociferously pan these people. What a bunch of thieves. This is one of the worst reviews I could possibly give. I don’t think I’ve ever been more agitated dealing with a furniture company in my life and this was not my maiden voyage.
We have ordered things with some success in the past, but this was a debacle that undid any good will. Ordered a piece of art from them for almost $800 on July 17, 2023. It was supposed to ship by September. In August, we got a note saying it would ship in late December. In mid-December, we got a note that said it would ship in early January. In mid-January, we got a note that said it would ship in early to mid-March. At this point, we’d been waiting six months and Burke Décor had our money the entire time.
On January 23, 2024, I asked for the item to be refunded in full. On January 30, 2024, they had me upload my banking details into a portal because it had been so long that the refund had to be conducted via ACH instead of to the card I no longer had the same account number on the Mastercard. They told me this would take 7-14 business days, which is a wild amount of time for an ACH. I had communications with them several more times including March 12, March 14, March 18, April 3, April 6, April 9, April 19, and April 24. All the while, they insisted either that the money had been sent to me and arrived, or actually that they had a new processor and it was going to take a while, and that they’d have their accounting department reach out to me. I tried calling the company many times and could not get a call back. Never could I get the same customer service rep on e-mail to respond to the same chain – it was someone new each note. Nobody was there to manage a case or fix a problem. I even began the process of filing a police report in Ohio for fraud before they finally refunded my money which hit my bank account on April 27. These funds were with Burke Décor for nine and a half months, and they withheld my refund from me for three months. I understand they have done this to other people from other reviews. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO SPEND YOUR MONEY. THESE PEOPLE ARE LYING SACKS OF YOU KNOW WHAT.

SCAM - AVOID. Wow I really should have checked here before ordering. Same experience as everyone else, ordered in August, nothing.

I reported them as a fraudulent seller on Google shopping.

Original Milky Spray Lotion by Riddle Oil from Burke Decor. February, in March it was supposed to be delivered. The date came it didn't, we ask about it the had a PROBLEM IN MAKING THE PRODUCT, it would come first of April. It did not. I sent an email to them on refunding the 51.00 dollars they said get with their finance department to send the refund it would take 7 to 14 business days to come back to our account. It did not return to us. They again said they would get with finance team. Every time I ask same story. My advice for anyone who purchases anything from them and gets it you are blessed. My opinion is avoid purchasing from them on-line it never works out and what I can see from dealing with them they keep your money.

THE WORST

THE WORST. I ordered a table in November of 2023. I finally canceled the order in February 2024 after they NEVER even shipped the item. They just kept saying it was backordered.
I am STILL trying to get them to process my refund as of APRIL 25, 2024. They keep saying they are too short-staffed to process refunds! Yes, for real.

NEVER RECEIVED REFUND ON CANCELLED ORDER

Ordered two table lamps back in NOVEMBER. Despite being listed as IN STOCK with Visual Comfort they were repeatedly delayed. Finally ran out of patience and cancelled order. Unable to get refund despite multiple attempts. Keeps getting "escalated" but nothing happens.
I finally received a response that my refund was completed and received a screenshot of an ACH transfer that was scheduled. The transfer was never made and after calling my bank I was told no ACH activity was made or pending to my bank account. I am incredulous that they would resort to this level of deception to delay refunding a customer.

I’d give zero stars if possible

I’d give zero stars if possible. I placed an order in April of 2023 for a book vase. August rolled around and I hadn’t heard anything so I reached out and heard back that “it’ll be shipped in late October.” Fine. Whatever. October comes and goes and nothing so I reached out again and get this response “sorry! Late January 2024.” Seems like it’s crazy but alright. Again, January comes and goes and I have to reach out “late Feb.” the last time I reached out was the beginning of March where I was told “early April.” It’s now the end of April and I’ve canceled my order. I get that issues with shipping and developing products can happen. But it’s been a year. What frustrates me the most is that I consistently had to reach out. There was nothing proactive from the company to tell me about all of these alleged delays. I’ve put in for a refund and it seems a little scammy but they’ve said I can either get a physical check or give them my bank info for a direct deposit. I don’t trust this company as far as I can throw them so there’s no way they’re getting my bank info. Scam company. Avoid at all costs.

SCAM SHADY SITE!!!!!

SCAM!!! Warning to all do not order from this shady site you will never get your product. I placed a Christmas order on 12/10/23 and still have not received. No where did it indicate backorder so there is zero reason as to why it has not shipped. Every time I try and contact it’s a delay and then a copy and paste answer. Excuses, excuses, excuses you should be ashamed and consumers need to know they are being taken advantage of!!!

SCAM Never ships orders, little communication and does not refund, even after email confirmation they will!

Please skip this site. They have beautiful items and great rewards, but it is a scam. Placed multiple orders and nothing ever shipped. I never received an order update and had to email them to find out about my order status because they have NO customer service phone number listed anywhere. I received an email back that all items were delayed. After waiting months I demanded a refund and they said it would take 7-14 business days. It never posted. I had to place a claim with my credit card company. I truly think this is a scam to hold on to consumers money as long as possible. SKIP!! Trust me

Burke Decor is a SCAM

Burke Decor is a SCAM - RUN AWAY! I purchased two lamps in November, supposedly in-stock, and never received them. I cancelled order in late March. Still haven't received my refund and their customer service is a joke. I suggest launching a dispute with your credit card company and reporting this awful company to the Better Business Bureau.
