Ease of ordering,friendly staff and pick up and drop off v easy

Car not fit for the road, on collection from the airport the screen display indicated it required a service, tyres were deflated, virtually no fuel in the tank and no water for the windscreen wipers, staff rude and told me this was standard practice. I have always used local car hire firms in the past, that will no longer be the case in the future.

Our hire car was delivered on time by very courteous staff.

Easy to deal with, no hidden charges, friendly staff

I have used Cabrera Medina car hire at Lanzarote airport around 6 or 7 times now and have always been delighted with their service. Coming from England and now Ireland I am or should I say was very suspicious when hiring a car and used to take full walk around video and photographs of every minute imperfection on the cars I was going to take out because one company SIXT at Manchester Airport tried to take £500 of me for wheel scuffs right up to the point I sent them video proof that the marks were already on it BEFORE I took it and 15 minutes later apologised for the mistake!! DOH!
These experiences with Cabrera are the total opposite. The cars are excellent, very competitive prices and never any surprises, just straight forward trust . A company that actually treats you with respect and has an adult. They will always have my business.

Efficient, polite and caring.

I reserved a Volvo XV40, but received a Cupra, which I consider a completely different car. The right side was badly scratched, and the windshield was dirty.

Ask at two desk in the airport about parking both extremely unhelpful just felt like it wasn’t their job. Traveling on my own with two kids would not use them again and expensive.

Very straightforward to deal with - excellent service. Clean, modern car. Great location for collection and drop off at Lanzarote airport.

A shame, and no other word for it. I rented a car for seven days, from the local agency in Costa Teguise. I rented a Fiat 500, I was given one with no brakes, I returned to the agency immediately and was given an under category car, on old Fiat Panda, but of course no refund. I was explained that I had to pay 40 euros for the petrol the former person who had rented the car had put in the tank, and that I had to pay the same price????but I also had to give the car back with a full tank!!! I asked question the man in the agency wouldn't answer, too much in a hurry to get back to his private phone conversation. He was impolite, unhelpful and the had to make do with that old car. I will never rent from Cabrera Medina again, which is a pity because I was satisfied in the other Costa Teguise agency last year. I am very angry, I paid for a decent car I never got, and no commercial gesture or simple due refund was offered. What do you call people who behave this way?

Excelente experiencia con Cabrera Medina. El proceso de alquiler fue muy rápido, sencillo y sin complicaciones. Uno de los aspectos que más nos gustó fue que no tuvimos que dejar ningún depósito, lo que hizo todo mucho más cómodo y dio mucha tranquilidad.

La persona que nos atendió fue muy amable, profesional y nos explicó todo claramente. La recogida y devolución del coche fueron rápidas y eficientes, sin esperas innecesarias.

Sin duda volveríamos a alquilar con ellos en nuestro próximo viaje y los recomendamos al 100% por su excelente servicio, rapidez y facilidad en todo el proceso.

Easy booking process, great all in price. Vehicle was excellent. No complaints.

Competitive priced rental and the price quoted was the price paid. No extras or add ons. The car was brand new and spotless. No fuss great service, car dropped off and picked up at hotel. Will definitely rent again when we visit Lanzarote.

Great service,very easy to use from the online booking system, you pay when you pick up, in our case from the airport for 14 nights. Just return as you picked up, for example ,with a full tank of fuel. Very professional and friendly company, No selling extra insurance, you pay on collection and happy motoring.100% would use again. Very easy to deal with online, efficient and straight forward. No hidden fees. I deducted a star as the car I picked up was not the car I requested online.
The person I dealt with did not make this clear, did not mention it at all.
I only realised when I went out looking for it. Although it was the same price to hire, they did not communicate that the model was different or explain why, and they didn't confirm with me if I was happy to accept a different model.
Everything else was great and I will use again, I'll just remember to confirm the model when I pick up.

The pick up was fast and trouble free. The car was clean and well maintained and the drop off was simple

We have used Cabrera Medina for many years and have always found the cars of good quality and usually have a competitive rate. I like that the price you see has a full comprehensive insurance with no hidden extras to pay.
