Ordered a custom weapon for an event, it arrived 10 days later than the shipping time described.

Ordered a weapon that said "in stock, ships in 2-3 days" arrived 3 weeks later and later than needed.

I reached out 3 times to customer service prior to the date and they kept making excuses about tarrifs. Not my job to figure out or how to make sure you honor the advertised ship times.

I would give 0 stars if I could. They had the gall to send me coupons for future Orders because they knew they screwed up. How insulting considering i would never give them my money ever again. Another example of the French being laise faire.

Although there were some delays, they reached out and fixed the issue!

Calimacil products are amazing. They will always be light-years ahead of others and you can understand that with a single visit to their manufacture! The owner is really pationate and his expertise, dedication and values are just a perfect match for larp. So yes products are amazing .. but on top of that they are made with passion and expertise from a team very dedicated to the larp community. Highly recommended !

Company shipped damaged items, items that were 3 sizes smaller than listed, and generally misrepresented their products. I have over 1000 dollars in product that I want to return for various reasons but they won't accept returns for and have stopped replying to communications.

I love their products! the service is amazing - Our day at the Calicon was great - meeting people and get to see how the swords are made.

This company delivered a product that does not pass local safety checks, refuses to publish my negative reviews, and does not respond to e-mails asking why. So long as I cannot trust the reviews on their website to be honest I will not be buying from them.

I still don't totally respect the fact that they are hiding most 1, 2 and 3 stars reviews on their website, but recently I purchased some things and the customer service felt better than it used to be. They might have changed their CS employee.

I've had a couple of orders from here, and both were perfect. Fast courier delivery to Australia. Would order from here again.

The best LARP and play swords available on the market. I ordered a special mystery deal and was thrilled with the randomized sword and dagger I got and it cost less than the price of a full weapon. A must buy every year they offer it. The best part is playing pretend with these weapons with my family, they provide an element of realism that helps the imagination.

Great products, I now have 3 swords from Calimacil, and this will be the only company I buy swords from in the future.
The quality and durability is great. Yes it's a higher price point but you get a lot for you money. Even my 7th year old daughter is getting one for Christmas (don't tell her 😉)
Even my friends now also only uses Calimacil.

I'm putting together a LARP costume, and so far I have ordered a bunch of items, all of which were in good condition, of good quality, and were shipped promptly and directly.
I would say the only drawback is that the selection of items is quite limited and subject to availability issues. Calimacil seems to source a lot of their items from other companies and are often only available in limited size ranges or limited quantities.
It's understandable, but I wish it could be better.
