With my wife and two good friends we wanted an itinerary of our choosing i.e. places visited and time spent at each place, including a 7 night cruise from Vancouver, a Rocky Mountaineer gold class journey to Jasper, Lake Louise etc, 14 nights overall. Also, from Calgary we wanted to stop in Montreal to visit family whilst our friends flew directly home to London.
Having tried two of our usual travel agents, who were not flexible with their itineraries, a friend recommended Canadian Affair. From my first conversation with them, I knew they were well experienced with all things Canada. They arranged all of our wishes and enhanced them with suggestions from their own experiences. Totally satisfied and happy to recommend them.

I’ve just had a call with Mark Carson, because I wanted to discuss changing my flights. He was amazing!! Mark was very professional, courteous and friendly. It made such a change to have a proper, (and effective) conversation with a call centre associate. My call was answered very quickly as well, which was another lovely surprise. Please clone Mark Carson throughout all call centres :)

Diligent and so helpful
We’ve just booked with Canadian affair. Richard was so helpful and very knowledgeable helping us plan our holiday. We’ve left it late to book and so the team had quite a challenge getting us booked into the places we wanted but they persisted and have come up trumps and great alternatives. Thank you so much.

Very helpful assistant and what looks like a very suitable holiday booked in great looking places and accommodation. The surprise was that this was not a pre-configured trip as suggested by the promotional material. Arranged car hire allowed for older drivers and with zero excess. Convenient flights by air Canada from LHR.

Overall good service but could be even better
Everyone I spoke to was great however I did have follow up myself twice in relation to not receiving the revised quote or the final booking confirmation. When I did call only one of the items I had asked for had been incorporated into the new quote but I was able to get the other prices over the phone. I then had to call back again to request the final confirmation which after paying a £1k deposit over the phone is a bit unsettling. Apparently this was stuck in a hold for some reason but was quickly sent to me whilst I was on the call. The call wait times vary and I did spend at least 15 mins one day just waiting to get through so recommend calling mid morning and mid week if you can! Good value for money overall and as I said the staff were all really helpful just a few hiccups.
