Very positive experience hiring a car…
Very positive experience hiring a car with Celtic Legend. Collected the car from Arnold Clark Edinburgh and had 2 glorious days at the Scottish Open Golf Championship. From my initial enquiry, communication from Celtic Legend was excellent and very helpful. You can tell this company puts customer service at the top of everything they do. The staff at Arnold Clark were also very good. Will definitely use Celtic Legend again when visiting Scotland. Thank you.

The Scottish Highlands
We were a party of 4 adults travelling through the Scottish highlands. We found Celtic Legend to be friendly and helpful in ensuring the vehicle hired was comfortable and sufficiently large to carry our luggage. Celtic Legend stayed in regular contact with us prior to our arrival and offered useful tips. We would happily use their services again.

Miglior esperienza di noleggio auto della mia vita! Mi dispiace non averli conosciuti prima. Ho provato varie compagnie in Scozia e ho speso un sacco di soldi per cose come secondo guidatore ( incluso con Celtic Legend) e l assicurazione auto con abbattimento franchigia. Il team Celtic legend è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa e saranno il mio riferimento per i miei noleggi futuri. Rispondono subito alle mail e sono molto disponibili anche per modifiche con adeguato preavviso come è successo nel mio caso. E la cosa che davvero mi ha sorpresa? Il servizio navetta gratuito per prendere e lasciare l’ auto.
Il veicolo che mi hanno dato era NUOVO! Ho dovuto togliere la pellicola dal touch screen.

Celtic Legend was exactly what we were looking for and reasonably priced!
Celtic Legend was the perfect choice for my trip to Scotland this summer. They came highly recommended through Wayfaring Kiwi on Facebook and lived up to the recommendation. The car worked perfectly and we did not encounter a need to contact services during our trip. We did encounter some difficulty finding them when we arrived, jet-lagged and without our luggage, but when I called the office, they were quickly able to set me on the right path with clear and cheerful instructions. The car was in excellent condition and came with surround cameras that showed up on the display any time that I got close to anything, which came in handy while parking in all of the tight spots around Scotland. We paid for the navigation package, and I highly recommend that option. We were able to find all of the fun spots on our itinerary with no trouble at all. This rental experience was really excellent, and I highly recommend Celtic Legend.

Touring Scotland made easy by Celtic legend .
Very good pre rental advice . Communication clear and offered a second driver included unlike major competitors .We did a one way rental ie dropped off at a different airport which was smooth. Car was perfect. Only thing to mention Edinburgh airport transfer needs a little more time than you may plan for . This was due to the bus frequency and we stopped on the way to airport. I would recommend Celtic legend

Take care with early drop off
Most things were well explained prior to our arrival in Scotland. We found the car hire facility without problems and staff were very friendly throughout the collection process.
At our early drop off time we found there was a free early drop off facility at an adjacent car park. But in fact we were charged for out of hours service for someone to open the Arnold Clark premises for us to return the vehicle direct to there. This may have been some misunderstanding but could have been better explained.
Our car was very good, no issues at all. All in all I will deal with this company again, but will clarify the early drop off procedure / charges beforehand.

Easy to discuss and book beforehand from overseas - very straightforward booking with a simple quote that was easy to understand, and transparent with what it included - it was also cheaper than the four online quotes from other car hire companies
Actually, a few of the inclusions were things that other companies I looked into had as additional costs
The Celtic Legend team have been excellent at answering my questions and providing all required info as the date got closer

Great driving vacation in Scotland
I booked my car a couple of months before my scheduled trip to Scotland. The folks at Celtic Legends did a great job of matching me with a car (BMW 5 door) that was suitable for my 3 week trip. They were very quick to respond to my questions and updated my contract when necessary. I would certainly rent my vehicle from Celtic Legends for any future travel needs. Thanks also to the Arnold Clark folks in Paisley. They went through the contract and spent some time explaining the features of the car. The return process was also very quick. When we first arrived at Glasgow airport, they picked us up at the airport and transported us to the rental office. They also took us back to the airport for our return flight. Great coordination between Celtic Legends and Arnold Clark made for a worry free driving vacation.
