Arrived at the Clayton Cardiff to lovely friendly staff and check in was a breeze. There was only 1 lift working which wasn't the best as there were 11 floors. On arrival in the room we found we had only 1 bath towel after calling reception more towels were brought up. Nothing had been dusted I wish I had taken pictures. Thankfully the bedding and bathroom were clean. I guess they just forgot the dusting 🙄
We paid extra to have the deluxe room but I have no idea what was deluxe about it. We won't be staying here again

The Clayton hotel in Sligo was impressive to look at from the outside, but things changed once you go in. Small but neat reception areas, 2 tiny restaurants, very average food, but the worst was yet to come.
Old dated bedrooms, with deteriorating , scratched up furniture from the 70`s. Bath panel rotting and splitting, not sure how they are rated as 4 star, 2 star at best. Stayed there end of November for 2 nights as an anniversary treat for my wife, but very disappointed.

We stayed over at the Clayton Manchester in September, which (whilst very busy as travel had only recently been allowed again) was perfectly acceptable.

However, on our return, we found that our vehicle which had been left in off-site secure parking over the week we were away had been returned to the car park with a flat tyre. Whilst this took time to remedy, as a quick fix, we were still able to return home with the promise of an investigation and further contact from the hotel and parking management.

On attempting to get the tyre fixed, it became obvious that it had been driven whilst flat under the care of the hotel and would require replacing, which we did at our own cost.

Since that date we have not heard from the hotel or parking management with any explanation or results of their investigation, this was over three months ago.

As customer service goes, we think this is exceptionally poor.

Had afternoon tea yesterday at Clayton Hotel London E1 7AT. Food was awful dry scones, sandwichs made with the cheapest bread and filling. All cakes were choclate (we are not lovers of chocolate) asked if we could have some plainer cakes, given 2 very dry victoia sandwichs, these were uneatable. a very very dissapointing afternoon. It was a teat for my birthday.!!

Second stay this year at the Clayton in Ballsbridge. Dublin. Beautiful hotel, the staff are fantastic, friendly & so pleasant. So busy the night we stayed but food service was fast & delicious. A special word of thanks to Simon Anglin, whose Customer service is second to none. Will definitely be back.

We came here on a groupon offer for a girly one night break and we could not believe our luck tbh. 3 minute walk from the railway station , beautifully renovated, such friendly staff and the offer not only was fabulous value for money , free drink on arrival , early checking in , fabulous food and service and late check out made it perfect . I have absolutely nothing negative to say and we intend to return in August with some other girly friends as it was so perfect .

Stayed in ballsbridge and quiried there charging Told it was fine , four emails and a week later and I am still out of pocket to the tune of £390 same as the other person I have had to report it to the credit card company shocking service And the staff are very blasie about it do the same RDS show every year will be looking at alternative hotel next year

We stayed at the Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport. Several days before our stay they charged over €100 to my credit card and then separately charged for the room on arrival. They refused to reply to emails and when contacted by the booking agent could not explain why they made the charge. I am still awaiting a refund and have had to involve the credit card company. I would never use another Clayton hotel. If it was a mistake they would simply have apologised and issued an immediate refund!

Such a beautiful hotel our room was amazing with the balcony views great in the day and lovely at night. The staff were very nice and the food was very good...Will be returning....

Did the park and fly deal at Clayton Dublin airport - nearly impossible to find a parking space. The attitude of bus driver on the return shuttle from the airport was astonishing - he took off on a half full bus leaving people standing another 30 minutes. Wouldn’t use this again - rooms are in very stuffy as well.

Had our wedding here on the 16/10/21 and all I can say is everything about this hotel is 100%. Savannah the events manager goes above and beyond her job. Donna who sorted numerous things is also lovely. Then on the day we had Andy who ran our day, he is fantastic and couldn't do enough for us and made sure everything went smoothly. The bar man on the bar was also amazing so easy to talk to and put everyone at ease ( sorry didn't get his name). Lastly the food was incredible (credit to the chef) oh and the reception staff were lovely always smiling. Fantastic bedrooms and lovely breakfast the morning after. Sorry if I missed anyone thank you again x x

A gorgeous, clean, modern hotel with good facilities. However the thing or rather person I want to mention is Arianna from the bar during the afternoon of 26th Aug. I’m disabled and she went above and beyond, finding me a good, accessible workspace in the bar, setting up my laptop so I didn’t have to bend and fetching my drinks and snacks etc as well as being genuinely friendly. Harry on reception also managed on my last visit to secure my accessible room for this visit. Again he was very helpful. Friendly and considerate of my needs. I’ve visited twice and both times they’ve gone out of their way to help me. All staff here deserve a decent Christmas bonus

I won’t be coming again.
When I arrived I was told that my parking was not paid for and that I needed to pay £15 for parking which I had already paid.
I then rang down to ask for room service which they told me I had to go downstairs if I wanted anything.
Not a service worth paying for.

Manchester Clayton, great room and super comfy bed. I had an early flight the following day, I felt well refreshed despite an early wake up call.

Good price and service as expected, not too far to walk to terminal 1.

I stayed at this Clayton Hotel Cardiff for 5 nights.
I did my online check-in before my arrival with the exact time I would arrive, but I ended up waiting in the reception for 40 minutes to be checked in.
I haven't got one room service during my stay even tho I asked for it twice.
The room was not as quiet and clean as I expected. The carpet was gross and you need to ask them to change your towel every day.

As a family we recently stayed at Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane. Even with Covid restrictions it was a lovely experience. Beautiful rooms, fabulous food and Ruth in the restaurant was so helpful and friendly.

Prashant was excellent he served us very well always asking if we are ok love that service will definitely be back. Thank you for making our 3rd year Wedding Anniversary special

Clayton in Ballsbridge Dublin was excellent with great service and a very personal welcome.
We would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Stayed at the Clayton in Leeds. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, it was nice to have a bath, the food was good and they seemed to take Covid precautions seriously without being too officious. Everyone we spoke to was welcoming and helpful. And the wifi worked.

Thanks so much to the staff the service and hotel management are outstanding very helpful and friendly the food was great there for full week working can’t wait to get back.
