I bought peugeot rcz r and the dealership a aspi specialist cars sold me a car whit trouble in engine
After they don't want accept the car return
I try to return the car after done two diagnostics and report is all the same the coolant goes inside the engine and release from exhaust I form white smoke
After contact almost all services I understand only way is.go to the court
But when o contact close brothers everything change they give a good suport and they sorted this situation after getting and new indpendent diagnostic and report

Appalling; switched to a YBS recommended home and buildings insurer called Uinsure last year. They use Close; i think they operate from their Granny's lounge! One hard search, Two soft searches on my records. Then a email saying I had asked to cancel all my insurance. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THEM.

Appalling customer service. Nearly 4 weeks after making my final payment I still don't have a settlement letter confirming. Each time you call customer service you speak to people that clearly have no interest in helping you other than to tell you to wait another 24 hours. This is classic 'computer says whatever' nonsense, just have go through the pain now of an FCA complaint as I can't imagine them responding in any kind of timely manner to the one I am raising.

I’m genuinely shocked at how stressful this process has been.
I exercised my statutory right to reject a vehicle of financed through Close Brothers Motor Finance after it developed a clear fault within the first 30 days. The vehicle was inspected by main dealer during that period, and I have diagnostic reports and photos confirming the issue occurred well within the statutory timeframe. An attempted repair failed.
Since then, the experience has been exhausting. I’ve been told that the evidence I’ve provided is “insufficient” and that I must agree to further diagnostics and an engineer inspection before they will even proceed, despite this being a clear statutory right. They have not made any attempt to work with dealer and dealer is dismissive and ignoring any calls as is the broker.
What makes this worse is that I’ve also been advised not to drive the vehicle, as doing so could be considered unsafe given the issue. This has effectively left me paying for a car I’m being told not to use, while the finance company continues to take payments and delays resolution.
Throughout this process, I’ve repeatedly been met with references to eight-week complaint timelines and Financial Ombudsman guidance, which feels like a procedural shield rather than any genuine attempt to resolve the issue. The reality is that I’ve been left with little choice other than to consider formal legal action just to move things forward.
Communication has been extremely frustrating. I’ve sent over 30 emails, spent long periods on hold, passed around departments and unfortunately found some interactions with some staff to be dismissive and unhelpful at a time when clarity and support were really needed.
I’ve remained cooperative and reasonable throughout, but this experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and deeply disappointing. I’m sharing this so others are aware that exercising even basic consumer rights with this finance provider can be far more difficult than it should be.
UPDATE: The matter is already subject to a formal complaint and a Letter Before Action with the finance provider. Relevant parties have been notified directly. I will update this review once the statutory process has concluded.
