They were quick to try harassing me…

They were quick to try harassing me everyday for just over a month with calls about a missed payment. To the point the number is now blocked. I had already contacted to tell them of my current situation in September 2025, this was ignored. I even went into further details via email to them in December 2025 when I found out just how bad the issues actually were and what I had been quoted to sort, which was without the stripping it back to find the causes of these issues. I contacted recently about collection of the now non running, been sitting there for 2 months taking up space car I had finance on with these. They came back that they will not collect the car and gave some excuse why. More like because they can't make anymore money off of it because it's had it completely and will never be back on the road again. They even asked if I'd looked at scrapping it - legally it's not mine, it belongs to them - the finance company, so I can't do anything with it and I have also told them this. As a finance company you would think they would know that?
Quick to harass when you miss a payment and then are about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike when you need help
Until I hit big issues in September which resulted in the car being taken off the road for good end of November, after going to 2 different dealerships to have work done to try and keep it on the road which didn't work, I had never missed a payment

It was a simple and easy decision

It was a simple and easy decision. I was able to ward-off other competitors that had an interest in the same car. I had a breakdown and already spent a lot of money on repairs. The promptness and straightforward approach of the service is excellent.

Disappointed with Close Brothers

Disappointed with Close Brothers, all good to start with easy transaction to buy my car can’t fault this part. My issues started when I wanted to pay my loan early. They make it difficult and the penalties and interest were far higher than expected. Now paid and complete there are a lot more competitive lenders out there sorry close brothers but I expected a much greater saving with paying early

Range Rover finance

I have had zero problems with this company from the get-go (for the last 4 yrs). They were extremely helpful when I was hit by another car, which caused expensive damage to my car. I couldnt have asked more of them, so on that basis alone I would recommend them. Thank you very much, and I would happily be a customer of yours in the future.

CHASITY IS RUDE AND UNHELPFUL

Spoke to someone called chasity regarding my car ks70pha. Her customer service skills were appalling from the beginning, no greetings, sounded like she was forced to be at work, I requested for a removal of a late fee because the company got the dates mixed up on when to take the bill, she showed no empathy nor did she try rectify the situation, stating that it was my fault the company got the dates mixed.i asked to speak to a manager and she said there is no manager, so then I asked to speak to a supervisor and again she said there’s no supervisor at work. So who’s running the office if there’s no manager or supervisor present? After I asked this she hung up on me. I then spoke to a guy called avie (I might be wrong) who rectified the situation within minutes. His customer service skills were outstanding. He showed empathy and understood the situation; chasity on the other hand did not. She is rude inconsiderate, incompetent, unhelpful and should not be working in the customer service sector.

Financed my Audi with them for 5 years ,at the time finance rate was great and payments where always taken accurately and on the same date , would use again

They are an amazing company they helped me buy my new car i had a good credit report but some of the most common company wouldn't help me .

Not Great, Shocking In Fact

I settled my outstanding balance early and was told I would be emailed this to confirm the account was settled in 24 hours.
It hasn't happened so I rang and got put through to someone I could hardly understand who kept me on hold then instead of resolving the issue by ensuring the email was sent told me she'd call back in 15 minutes with it resolved, it hasn't happened, I guess the call back promise was to get me off the phone.

You've taken nearly 9 thousand pound off me to close the account as settled yet you haven't confirmed by email.

What's going on? I need this resolving by tomorrow to part exchange the vehicle and show it's credit free.

Awful customer service and phone operators.

Edit don't bother replying with your customer service number and email address as they lie on the phone as I've tried ringing yet again and say the financial department don't have access to send emails on account settlement and a separate department send emails that I'll add don't materialise.
Rang yet again and connected in South Africa again, is this where your call centre is now? Told it will be the next day again.
Nobody when rang takes responsibility and they keep saying each day I ring it will be tomorrow.
I'm tired of being fobbed off by what is supposed to be a reputable financial lender!

Quick to take an account settlement then like hens teeth to get your letter saying just so.

Finance for motor vehicle

When I applied I really had no expections.
But my application was dealt with very professionally and quickly.
I was advised constantly about the process, and was kept in the picture at all times.
Paperwork was delivered quickly, and I was informed when the first payment would be takwn from my Bank.
All in all a very pleasurable experience, I appreciated their support.

Poor. Beware.

I had made multiple calls to the car dealer (arranger) and to the lender making it very clear that I didn't need the finance. The finance agreement was not cancelled as per explicit instructions and the company attempted to take money from my bank account. Fortunately I saw the outgoing payment and was able to reverse the payment and then block the payee in time before it was actually debited.
