Just 2 girls working their socks off in the Epsom store on a Saturday lunchtime! Inevitably crazy waiting time. Who wants to wait 20 mins for their drink? Ridiculous

Great service and coffee . It has a variety of scrumptious cakes and food . It has a very welcoming atmosphere. If you want to take time out make a stop at Taunton coffee1 are amazing. The manager karolina is really energetic, friendly as well S her team.

Visited Cwmbran today, very dissappointed with the service and the panninis we had ordered were not worth the money paid, . We ordered two, I had eaten what I could of mine then had to go fetch the other which was left standing on the service counter. Have always been happy with food purchased there but definitely gone down hill.Coffee was ok but could have been hotter.

Loughborough branch serves full fat milk and skimmed, not semi skimmed. I can't stand either full fat or skimmed so I declined tea. The explanation given was that they serves a lot of vegan milk, so can't offer semi skimmed cows
Our table wasn't cleared after previous occupants. Aftef 1 hour we cleared the debris ourselves.
The latte was all froth. Couldn't find any coffee, but they did change it
The toilet needed a good clean

Coffee 1 is never my first choice because I don’t think the coffee ever tastes great and I have tried numerous times. I prefer the independent shops which sell Clifton coffee. Took my mum and dad to Pershore shop as a pit stop today whilst on a walk, we had two cappuccinos and a latte all tasted bitter and burnt, so we left them, an expensive waste, in hindsight I should have complained. Last time I went to the Evesham one, it wasn’t good but not as bad a taste as today, also when I was there (Evesham), it was really short staffed, there were cups everywhere and everyone single person was being served in takeaway cups awful for the environment. I won’t go again unless there’s a really good shake up and they change the bean providers.

Went there on Monday 15th May, one member of staff, sat there 15 mins, then told not serving coffee because she was washing up. Appalling service.

My second time in the Chesterfield branch and I won’t be going again . Can’t get on the net to scan on the app and the girl seemed non plus . Told me to ring up and put the points on, that’s if I can . There must be internet as people are on their laptops . Everything looks nice but my toast well it was either stale or it had been murdered in the toaster . I couldn’t get my teeth round the edges, if I wasn’t so hungry and in a rush I would have took it back . Only gave me 2 butters and no serviettes . Had to ask . So now I have the task of ringing up to try and put my points on . Then to top it all the toilets were out of order . Grrrrr

I visited with a group of young people who I work with who have additional needs. I was asked to ring before had next time we go, as they’d sent a member of staff away to sort deliveries! I explained that would not be possible on just a cafe trip for a coffee. They had two members of staff on so I couldn’t. See the problem !! Also you have to go up and ask for sugar and tea spoons as NONE. Our out readily available. It’s a shame as we liked it here for the convening and also the drinks were nice .

Absolutely brilliant service from the coffee 1 team in Bicester, especially to the young member of staff Jake, who was so helpful to a gentleman on a mobility scooter,he went above and beyond. Well done Jake..

The cwmbran shop in South Wales , the new shop. Arrived on sunday morning , only one staff member at 10am . I ordered two large lattes . We were given cups that were three quarters full , I asked for a top up , and was given cold milk hardly heated and the whole coffee was cold . I don't ever complain but it seemed that either he was so busy or couldn't be bothered to properly heat the top up, not great for nearly £8 Im used to much better at the excellent store in Monmouth …

First time I have EVER felt driven to write a review. I loved Coffee One in Weymouth however on Saturday 9th March pm I was served my coffee in a paper cup. Reason given was lack personnel to wash the cups. There were clean cups stacked in their usual place on top of the machine and the shop was not busy! As a plastic lid was put on the cup I pointed out I didn`t need it as I was drinking in and was told I had to have a lid for safety. I removed it at my table 3 seconds later! What is this absolute madness that you build a quality brand which we become loyal to and then expect us to pay £3.80 for a paper cup (which changes the flavour), and talk to us sharply when we question it, having already ordered and paid!? I tried to resist writing this review but having thought about it for a few days and considered the money I spend in Coffee One, I realised that is why we should call out this lazy and rude practise. So disappointed!

Very slow service, americano rather tasteless though hot chocolate OK. No cash, card only so another business on my only as a last resort list.

The Carmarthen Coffee #1 was a delightful place to discover! The staff are friendly, it is cosy and warm, there is loads of seating. The spiced chai was well made and properly hot. The blueberry muffin was really well made and tasted much better than the muffins that you get at another, not named, big chain cafe.
I'm not sure why Coffee #1 seems to have a lot of negative reviews but the Carmarthen one definitely deserves five stars.

Firstly the one star is for Head Office not the staff or surroundings. It has not been possible to have an Americano (black) coffee for the last two weeks due to a fault. At the very least you could have provided your staff with some alternative or ultimately purchase a new machine.

Coffee#1 really impressed with this new store quick professional service. Very clean the staff are very organised and hard working even though it was very busy they were still cleaning and serving to a high standard the Coffee and food was excellent

Older stores are run down and dirty. What happened to basic standards of cleanliness and hygiene? They never have enough staff. In most cases there are 2 struggling to manage. I'm sure they are reaping in profits though.

Chesterfield Coffee#1. We have visited here a few times with our dog. We recently met up with some friends and spent about an hour and half in there. Throughout that time our dog sat quietly under the table. Most staff are friendly and professional. I was not impressed with the member of staff who rather loudly told me we would have to leave if our dog didn’t stop barking. This happened as we were putting on our coats. His only crime was to get excited as we were leaving. I think this staff member would benefit from some training.

Coffee#1 used to be different in a good way to the mainstream coffee chains . Excellent coffee and tasty food . Just been to their new store in Chesterfield - average coffee and bland food .

Below average, staff standing around talking or looking at their phones while the tables are full of empty cups and debris. It's a nice big place with great potential...but you need to clear the dirty tables.
