Columbia issued a refund to me. I am happy that they stood behind their shipment never arriving.
I bought two pairs of ski socks and they were never delivered. They would not offer picture proof of the delivery they state happened. They will not issue a refund and closed the case. I called and they offered to make me repurchase the same product and then they would refund me the original price after I received the product. However, the product is still out of stock 2 months later. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!
I have recently bought a ski jacket…
I have recently bought a ski jacket that does not comply with the description mentioned in the website. The Ava jacket is stated to have a security interior pocket and it does not have this pocket. The factory malfunction was acknowledged by the company and I was informed I could call on the two year warranty. Later, the factory malfunction was denied by a different service employee, trying to undermine the previous suggested solution. I stated my rights as a consumer, which the employee never replied to. I called the costumers service to explain in words that there is in fact a malfunction, but this employee asked me to resolve it with the colleague involved in the correspondence (who very clearly did not read my emails). I have been very happy with the products of Columbia for years, but the way my complained is being addressed is very disappointing. For other consumers, please read carefully what is being sold to you in the description since this might not be in accordance with the product. It’s not in accordance for the Ava jacket and I’ve also seen other advertisements that are not in accordance. Very shameful that an acknowledged company such as Columbia has such awful and illegal practices.
Très bonne expérience malgré les commentaires qui font peur
J'avais commandé avant de lire les commentaires et je les ai découverts juste après avoir effectué l'achat. J'ai eu un peu peur, mais finalement tout s'est bien passé. Commande passée et, deux jours ouvrables plus tard, le colis a été expédié. Il a été livré deux jours après, sans aucun problème. Les deux vestes achetées étaient parfaites, mais je les avais commandées afin de choisir celle qui me conviendrait le mieux pour un voyage dans une région particulièrement froide. J'ai donc retourné l'autre plus d'une semaine après la livraison. La confirmation du remboursement est arrivée dans la semaine suivant la réception du colis, sans souci (comme j'avais payé en plusieurs fois, les paiements se sont ajustés). Je recommande le site malgré les mauvais commentaires, car la qualité est excellente, les prix sont très avantageux pendant les soldes et les conditions de retour sont respectées. Je vais tester la durabilité du produit mais, sans doute, je achèterai à nouveau.
Avoid, shop local.
Prime example of when a company targets the mass market without considering the back office - no customer service, no acknowledgement or by return, no refund after 10 days of them receiving my item.
And their marketing emails aren’t geographically correct, since my order I get USA marketing…

Recently on a hunt for a down jacket, ordering was fine, but the delivery did take a bit longer than I expected. The jacket arrived and it smelled very chemically. It was very off-putting. One of the other items had a manufacturing fault. It was returned and it is taking a very long time to get a refund as they will not exchange.

El pedido 234273018 en la tienda online puse que me lo enviaran a casa.
Recibo un mensaje de la compañia del servicio de mensajería UPS (servio nefasto pueden ver críticas numero UPS1Z31A9616823688865 )que lo tengo en una librería (que es un centro colaborador).
Voy allí y después de esperar una cola de 45 min me dice la mujer de la librería que allí no está.
No entiendo cómo está compañía deja el paquete donde les viene bien a ellos, sin aviso previo de haber pasado por casa.
El servicio nefasto de UPS me dice que lo ha entregado en una librería que es servicio de entrega UPS y no en mi dirección que es lo que solicité en la compra
Hoy he estado 45 min esperando a que la persona me localizará el pedido y dice que no está alli servicio UPS1Z31A9616823688865.
No entiendo cómo puedo comprar algo, poner la dirección de envío de mi casa y aparecer en otro destino diferente a la dirección de envío, vete a saber dónde.
Si quieren trabajar bien deberían dejar de hacerlo con una compañía de mensajería como UPS que tiene calificaciones nefastas.
Una vergüenza.

Worst company ever
Worst company ever! Good luck if you buy from them! For me, I placed an order for a Columbia jacket from one of their authorized retailers. It was shipped directly from Columbia should I tell you and came in with rips above pocket linings. Columbia continued to blame the retailer I bought it from even though it come directly from the manufacturer! Columbia finally accepted a small portion of responsibility like an immature child and finally got their jacket admitting it couldn’t be repaired and gave me a merchandise card. Placed (2) online orders with the merchandise card. First order was socks that came in with thread hanging on the (4) attached pair with the clip used. Most disturbing was shoe box that came in without the shoes! Yes, no shoes!!! Called this joke of a company that wanted me to place another order with my own money for the shoes and then they’d refund the shoes I DIDNT GET TO BEGIN WITH LOL! Yes you’re reading this correct! The representatives have zero idea what they’re doing and in desperate need of training help! I wouldn’t order a toothpick from this place. Long story here short, no jacket I paid for, no shoes I got in return for my money spent on jacket and socks ordered that are splitting open at the threads. Owner must be More worried about sending pictures of family members with future order discounts lol! No freaking thanks! Stay away!
Poor Customer service
Customer service is nearly impossible to reach and even minutes after placing an order it cannot be canceled.
Wrong item received - Columbia won't send replacement
I ordered a fleece for my partner for his birthday, the package arrived and it was a completely different item - kids jacket. I emailed their customer service team and they say they can't issue a replacement. They asked me to send the jacket I received back and after the receive it they'll issue a refund within 10-15 days. If I'm to reorder the fleece, I'll have to pay for another delivery fee because they claim their system doesn't work this way. Meanwhile, they can gift items to influencers without any issues. It seems Columbia couldn't care less about their paying customers and taking care of their customers even when the error is on their side.

I am still waiting for a refund from November!! ‘Pedro’ from the chat function is just awful, doesn’t answer questions, gets my name wrong. They are so slow at responding to messages. Currently £175 out of pocket for a coat I don’t have.

Waardeloze kwaliteit, waardeloze klantenservice, waardeloos bedrijf! Mijn jas (3 weken te laat geleverd) had na slechts een paar keer dragen loslatende klittenband door de slechte stiknaden, waardoor hij niet meer waterdicht was. Klantenservice biedt geen vervanging terwijl de jas op voorraad is. Slechte kwaliteit en inflexibele service – bestel hier niet!

Returns process dire - will not use again...
I really love Columbia products and buy their walking trainers. For a change I ordered direct from the company and unfortunately the trainers did not fit so had to be returned. This is where the problem started.
You have to use UPS to return products to Columbia. UPS use YEEP! lockers and their app just does not work it just crashes every time (the 700+ 1 star reviews should be enough to make UPS have a rethink - apparently not!!). I then went to a store which they state on their website takes returns. It stopped 3 months ago so another wasted trip. I then tried to get it collected from home and it website kept refusing the process Paypal, credit card and Apple Pay and would only accept cash for the driver - who has cash these days??? I ended up having to use Royal Mail at additional cost to return the item to UPS - what a joke!! I just have to hope that my return gets processed correctly.... As a result I will not be buying from Columbia direct again!

J'ai passé une commande il y a 3 semaines, mais n'ai reçu aucun mail de confirmation de ma commande. Par contre, Columbia m'a bien débité de 190 euros une semaine plus tard. Je n'ai même pas eu de numéro de commande pour la suivre .. une honte !
