I used Comapre parkingprices to book with Mayfair meet and greet at Heathrow
The staff is rude and unprofessional.
The valet didn't turn up. I waited for 30 minutes. I had to book with another service provider on the spot and had to pay £££.
Despite raising this issue with Mayfair meet and greet there is response, acknowledgement, apology or refund.
Compare Parkingprices should allow genuine and authentic business to use their website.

We decided to leave our car in the Heathrow area while we were away on holiday.
The service provided was easy to use and the drop off and pick up went very smoothly.

I booked through them and no confirmation. I called and spoke to a guy who could barley understand me. After many calls and them not answering my calls. I was given the run around. I asked for my refund. They tried desperately not to give it to me. Via email, I was told my full refund would come in 1 - 3 days. I got part of ot b ak in 9 days and am still trying to get the rest.
Use Purple car park instead. They worked out so much better for me.

Awful. Made me wait over 45 mins for my car with my luggage and small children

Avoid at all costs. Returned my car to the wrong terminal despite having the correct terminal in my booking as well as flight details. It was midnight and had my 2 young childre. When pressed to confirm they would bring my car to the correct terminal I was told it would take an hour. Asked to explain how a 5 minute drive would take an hour they refused to return my car. As they refused to return my car and I saw on my tracker they had taken my car away I had to get a taxi home get the police involved to get my car returned. Not only have they stolen my car they do not use secure parking as advertised. Truly unbelievable and not worth the risk. Avoid at all costs.

Awful Experience
If I could leave a negative stars review I would.
Just to note from the beginning I recognise the experience reviewed on the 14th August 2025 with another 1 Star.
Was promised a quick phonecall when you are 30 minutes away and the driver will be at your terminal waiting for you.
Leaving- we were meeting him at the place the car was going to be parked; that was the first worry as when we arrived it was the smallest entrance to a dimly lit not very safe looking car park where were guaranteed the car would be safe.
Confidence was further depleted when the guy "helpfully" threw one of the bags like a volleyball before my husband took over in case anything got broken.
I hobble to the side of the van to see dings, scrapes and one mighty crunched up dent in the van.
Erratic driving from the off leaving us tossed around in pain with us both being disabled, I said ouch a few times but was ignored and I couldn't be bothered asking him to calm down in case of an argument as he seemed quite "wired"
He repeatedly told me not to forget the £6.00 in cash, I said I had it but you have all ready reminded us several times as well as having a rext about it a few days before.

Whilst away the app for the car advised it had moved- will come back to this point later.

Arriving- sent a text message to say we were half an hour out he said he would be there shortly; we waited and waited come 40 minutes later we called to be told "Wait there I am 5 minutes away" another 10 minutes and nothing was happening, bare in mind it was meant to 30 minutes and it was nearly 2 in the morning.
A further phone call was another "Wait there I will be right there"
He arrived at 2.10am over a full hour late.
I was sat in a wheelchair; he waved at us to go over and meet him again reminding my husband of the £6.00 cash (Ok we understand already!) He refused to move closer so husband had to wheel over the bags on a trolley then get me and our child there. I got over there to see him again throwing bags in the back. I don't expect a red carpet for the bags but come on- you know as well I do that gifts etc would be in the hand luggage/carrier bags so please a little gently?!
Even if they were empty they were liable to damage.
I opened the door to see another family sat in there with us which I found very odd but at the same time fine; he opened the rear of the door telling me to get in. I said I would not be able to get into the back as despite my being slim I could not bend my joints like that at risk of causing damage. He said I could then sit in the middle with my husband getting into the back with severe pain and trying to juggle our child at the same time.

He again reminded me of the £6.00 in cash which I asked if the other family were paying too- he awkwardly replied "They were at another terminal" I mean I suppose it is possible but I wasn't convinced.
Huffing and Puffing he was clearly angry as again we were all thrown around like dolls, I was most fearful for the very small baby without a car seat; we were all ouching as he flew over pot holes and screeched stopping.
He took 2 further phone calls whilst we were in the van; both of which he said he was around the corner; for them just to wait and he would be right there; we had not arrived at this point so he would be at least another 50 minutes before he got back to the airport- why lie?

Upon arrival our car was abandoned outside some shops in the pitch black, I handed over the £6.00 and proceeded to get to the car, he went off to take the family to their car parked in the "car park" so we start moving bags over as at this point he had walked off so presumingly wouldn't have helped.
He then came running from the car park to me shouting very loudly "Madam you haven't given me the money" I repeated I had, I repeated it again all the while him bellowing "You haven't"; I said go and check your car seat maybe you put it down, he refused at first and started man handling the bags my husband and I asked him to leave it as he was launching them across the road.
We were packing the car with him saying "She has not paid it, She has not" My child was getting upset because someone was shouting at Mummy, Husband was getting annoyed because the guy wouldn't check the seat so wondered over towards the door and wouldn't you know he magically found it!
He went to apologise to my husband who said he needed to apologise to me; he tried to walk off but husband insisted he had to apologise so he eventually backed down enough to say sorry he hadn't found the money. I looked and laughed because he didn't have the required amount of spine to apologise for shouting at me and upsetting my son.
An utter clown, rude and disrespectful and claiming our car had not been used or moved- it very clearly had been moved from the car park fair enough I suppose but what about on the other days he could not account for and added up to over a mile when the car park is right there next it it.

But let me tell you from personal, traumatic experience: their service is anything but. This isn't a professional car parking company; it's a bunch of cowboys running a shoddy operation that left me stranded and without my own car.

The first sign of trouble was the complete lack of professionalism. This company, which claims to be in the business of airport transfers, brazenly employs a cleaning contractor—yes, a company registered at Companies House to clean buildings—to provide a supposed "park and collect" service. There was no professional chauffeur, just an individual offering a service they were clearly unqualified to provide.

The incompetence came to a head on my return. According to their website's poorly spelled claim ("This from their website"), Travelers a simple phone call should result in a prompt pickup. It didn't. I called, only to have the driver go to the wrong terminal. When I pointed out his mistake, he told me I'd have to wait another hour for him to correct his error. When I objected to this ridiculous demand, he refused to return my car at all. The very people who are supposed to pick you up in your own car "outside the terminal entrance" instead held my vehicle hostage and left me to find my own way home. I was forced to call a taxi.

This experience was, without a doubt, the worst service I have ever received. It was unprofessional, incompetent, and an absolute nightmare. The company's promises are lies. Their service is a scam. Save yourself the stress, the time, and the money, and avoid this company at all costs.

Really really horrible customer service. My car broke down and so I asked to cancel my booking. They were totally inflexible and had zero understanding. Anna was really rude to me via email - aggressive and indignant. I’d originally called one of the drivers and he was really nice and said that I should email and they should be able to help me. But absolutely no understanding, when they could clearly see I was in a really stressful situation.

MEET AND GREET WAS EFFICIENT AND THE DRIVERS WERE ON TIME TO COLLECT AND DROP OFF MY CAR

Swift service on arrival, paperwork dealt with quickly, easy transfer to Terminal. On return, pick up was straightforward and our car was ready to drive away when we reached the car park. Would be happy to use it again.

We use valet parking at airports at least 6 times a year and this experience was our best ever.
Not only did everything proceed so smoothly, timely and efficiently but they even sent us a text when we landed back to remind us what to do. Perfect!

Parking is seamless, no issues at all. hardly took 2 mins to park and while collecting. No wait times

Avoid at all costs
The service is shocking and the staff rude and unhelpful
Was made to wait 45 minutes at drop off and another 60 minutes at pick up. Despite numerous calls at both drop off and pick up where they just fob you off with “it will be there in a few minutes”!Ended up with them not answering the phone.
Had to pay an additional £11:50 when dropping the car off and another £7.50 @ pick up. This lot are dreadful! Pay a bit extra and get a proper service!

I know they are a comparison site and don’t deliver the service themselves. BUT the customer service is a joke.
I booked parking at Heathrow and added the cancellation cover, meaning I can cancel for free.
I had my confirmation which finally showed who would be providing the service and immediately asked to cancel as the company they gave me had 1 star reviews.
After a lot of emails, they refunded me minus the admin fee. The admin fee I paid extra via the cancellation cover to avoid.
I’ve whatsapped them - no response. Quick enough to message me when I didn’t check out quick enough though.
I’ve emailed and had no response.
Dispute raised with my bank for a chargeback
Don’t even follow their own cancellation policy

Booking was easy so gosh I don't know what's up on some reviews. We were matched with Lion parking and on arrival and departure their folk were friendly and helpful. Even when we goofed and went to the wrong place. Return driver Rez was good too. I really rate valet parking when it's affordable. Going to the Short Stay is MUCH more convenient than the bus shuttle, and much prefered. The need to pay for the short stay is to expected ie typical so allow for 2 x 20 minute stays when you buy. My booking reference was CP094542, ie I really, really liked this.

I'm quite happy with the efficiency and ease of the service provided, with punctual staff and clear communication. The service was very convenient and good speed of the shuttle service.

However, there are some unexpected charges. I was punished due to having a 4 x 4 and had to pay an extra £20! Apparently, this is stated in the (VERY) small print! Also, I had to pay the pick-up parking charge, which also isn't stated clearly.
All in all, if I'd have booked with a slightly more expensive car park, it would probably have worked out cheaper!

The site booking form has a glitch and booked me in with completely different dates to what I submitted I didn't even realise untill I looked at my booking confirmation 2 days later (today)
I had added the extra fee for cancelling or amending and when I called to do so I was told no because the arrival date had passed (obviously I hadn't dropped car off)- it was the date I booked 22nd July for only 1 week - why would I do that? I live in Lancashire at least 6hrs drive away & I was trying to book for my holiday in September/October for 2 weeks.
The flight number has to be entered so this could have been checked and the booking amended in my opinion staff were rude and not helpful at all their response was 'there must be a system error' - you are not kidding!! £70 quid down the drain! As if I have money to burn?

I booked through Compare Parking Prices thinking I was getting a good deal, but the experience was incredibly disappointing. First of all, they don’t tell you which company you’re actually booking with until after you’ve paid. Once I saw the details of the parking provider, I was shocked—the reviews were awful, and the company’s reputation was clearly very low.

I decided to cancel immediately, only to find out they charge a £15 “admin fee” just to cancel, even though the booking was only just made. That’s absolutely ridiculous—what kind of reputable service penalises you for not wanting to use a low-rated provider they didn’t even disclose upfront?

I won’t be using them again, and I’d strongly recommend others think twice before booking through this site.

Absolute scam of a website. We booked "Premium Parking Park and Ride Manchester" and nothing about this was premium. We were instructed to call 30 minutes before arrival, which we did, and our call lasted all of 2 seconds as he said yes then put the phone down with no more information. The guy on the phone could not seem more bothered about our arrival. Once we got to the address of the carpark, it was nowhere to be seen. Instead, we had arrived at the back of an industrial estate, surrounded by 2nd hand car dealerships and auto breakers, not a very comforting site. We looked around for signs and saw none. The address we had actually been given, was to CS Cars UK, a used car dealer. Upon looking at this place, there was no carparking at all, it was literally a place where cars were being sold off to potential buyers. Im not being funny but does compareparkingprices actually vet the people selling services on their website? The actual address for this carpark is "Parking World Unit 2A, Shentonfield House, Shentonfield Rd, Sharston, Wythenshawe, Manchester M22 4RW" Just go have a look at their reviews on google and you'll see why they've hidden behind the 5 star reviews for CS Cars as parking worlds reviews are 1 star with people wishing they could do 0!!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS THIS WEBSITE CLEARLY DOESNT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS. I'm so happy now that I decided on the day to leave and book airport parking instead as multiple people have found with parking world they damage cars and leave OPEN petrol cans in vehicles with 0 security and carkeys on full show for anyone to grab! Not everyone will be fortunate enought to be able to spend another £90 on top of the previous price I had paid for parking on the compareparkingprices website so please dont make the same mistake I did and just book airport parking instead it will seriously save you time, stress and money!!
