Easy booking process through Cosmos…
Easy booking process through Cosmos Yachting with various options offered and discussed before we booked.
We chartered a Dufour 430 in Sicily. The charter base company was Gais Yachting. The handover process was disappointing and we were kept waiting for over three hours before we could access the boat and start provisioning. We were eventually told there had been a problem with the boat which is understandable, but if we’d been told there was going to be a delay (rather than told “soon” every time we asked about progress) then we could have gone to the beach rather than wait on a very hot terrace.
The boat was in good condition as described but this was the first time ever on a Mediterranean charter that there were no cabin fans fitted to the boat making sleeping at night very uncomfortable. Surely these are standard fittings in hot climates?

We’re truly sorry to hear about the delay during the handover process at the base in Sicily and the lack of clear communication regarding the wait. While technical issues can occasionally arise, we completely understand how frustrating it must have been not to receive timely updates—especially in the heat. Regarding the absence of cabin fans, you're absolutely right—comfort on board is essential, especially in Mediterranean climates. While not all charter yachts are equipped with fans as standard, we fully agree that they should be more consistently available, and we’ll be reviewing this point with our fleet partners as well.
We really value your feedback—it helps us improve both our service and the experience we offer our clients. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you aboard again and deliver a smoother, more comfortable experience next time.

Bali 4.4 Heaven from Cosmos Yachting!
The problem is the layout of the Bali 4.4 is so damn good I will never get my family back on a proper sailing boat!!
The front access and conversion of all the front space to sun lounger/seating is superb.
They lifted the boom, so head height on the upper deck and further seating / lounging is superb.
The Batteries are awesome, no issues with charging, fridges, fans running etc etc
The electric rear door to the saloon gives best of both worlds , open space like other cats but with interior comforts and privacy if required, awesome.
Water storage 800 litres as you know its not much for 4 couples in our 2nd week but did only have to fill up a couple of times.
Fuel is incredible only used 315 litres in two weeks and that was 40% of capacity.
I like the fact the boat was checked thoroughly at the end of our two weeks, inc. Divers under the hull. That was a first, but gave me comfort I was not handed unknown issues at the beginning.
Marina manager was very helpful during our two weeks via whatsapp. We did have to get an engineer in Cephalonia to look at outboard engine issue, That reminds me they agreed to repay the 100 euro that cost, tell them its a tip!
Finally, the sailing! We got sails up whenever possible, As the marina manager said only get gib out if running and only get main out if going into wind, He was right!
Best sail was 8.5 kts in 15-20 kts of wind, close reach, full sail AND full engines. It was hysterical. However, we understood that and wanted this boat for everything else. The weather was mainly less than 5 kts wind and pure sun all 2 weeks, perfect for the Bali 4.4 😁

Truly unforgettable charter experiences.
We recently charted two separate catamarans with Cosmos Yachting, once in the Mediterranean and once in the Grenadines. Both times we were provided with new superb boats and a very friendly and knowledgeable skipper. Everything was perfectly organized, prices were extremely competitive, communications were easy and every effort was made to resolve any little issue we may have had. I could not recommend Cosmos more enthusiastically. We can't wait to book a third charter.

I'm quite satisfied - but honestly spoken I know just two companies (one for northern part like Baltic Sea and Cosmos for all the rest )
My remark : Pls. check quality of boats stronger , especially if they are more than two years old .I appreciate ,that I can reach somebody (Alexander ) all the time by phone or mail .

It’s a Breeze
Fabulous! Great communication from start to finish, Sun Charter boarding service is excellent and the boat was superbly clean and well prepped to ensure the holiday went off without any hitches. My only small niggle was the linen pack had no hand towels and the cabins could do with fans. Nevertheless, Cosmos have chosen its partner well in Gouvion who displays an excellent ethos.
