I really like the web platform to create the transfers, very intuitive. There is a lot of flexibility and good personalized service to get you started when you are not experienced (Thumbs up Nick). Also, very important I got very sharp exchange rates compared with other FX brokers I checked. All in all, I am a happy customer that just made a considerable large transfer seamlessly.

As already mentioned by couple of other users, Nick is a real asset to this company. However, I do not like several points on this portal (and if it was not about Nick the portal would have received between 1 and 2 stars as rating):

1. In comparison to other currency exchange companies like CurrencyDirect the company works with accounts in the UK where transfer of the contracted amount has to be made. This means additional costs if you are transferring from the EU, even though the UK is still in the SEPA. Therefore, CD has an account in Germany (others have in Spain) where you would transfer the agreed money without any additional fees to be incured. My home Austrian bank charged me additional 0,6% for this transaction, maybe I would have chosen a competitor if I was aware of this from the start. This fact has killed the gains on the good offered rate by the company.
2. I did not receive a bank statement of the transaction, even though I specifically asked for it.
3. Easy and transparent handling of the first transaction as one can check the agreed value in live exchange rates (though bookings cannot be done over the weekend). However, once the transaction was done, this option is not available. Moreover, I cannot check the rates and get a quote as I do not have money on my balance...what happens if I want to do another post transaction. This was the reason why I have chosen them at the beginning, as I did not want to fill up my wallet before doing the transaction and I wished for a transparent tool, but obviously after one transaction completed this advantage is gone (or at least not user friendly to be done so that I could have not find it after several logins).

Fantastic and entirely transparent service that I would highly recommend. You receive really clear guidance and advice throughout the whole process, with convenient and easy to use applications.
Nick is great to deal with and his response times (even factoring in different time zones) are incredible. You really feel like you’re his only client!
