i had my second catarach removed on tuesday tha 21st of july at new medica barnwood gloucester and i cant praise the team enough everyone i spoke to and seen was so nice and friendly and made me feel so relaxed before my catarach removal and mr antonis kaintatzis was brilliant he was talking to me most of the time and he done a brilliant job today i can see brilliantly so would like to say a big thankyou to all the staff .the receptionist was very friendly to thanks again to all of you .

Very thorough pre assessment at the Tunbridge Wells Nuffield hospital in a very relaxed environment. The nurse answered all my questions and was extremely professional with a calming manner that made me feel very comfortable.

I have just had to make a choice of private consultant. The reviews on here confirmed my choice and was easy to link to my specific condition.

I visited Newmedica Leeds on the 5th of Jul 2026 for an appointment regarding my Glaucoma treatment.As usual the reception at New Medica was first class,very professional whilst carrying out my initial eye checks.Following these I then saw Dr David Richards who then carried out further tests regarding my glaucoma keeping me fully informed of what he was doing and giving me the results of each test verbally.
These were then confirmed by followup letter shortly after my treatment. Well done.

Docify operate like censor....they have to invite you to give a review which in my case, they refused given I wanted to complain about one of the consultants who hides behind them namely a Dr Jayasharee Basu.

Notwithstanding Dr Basu’s seemingly positive feedback from others, if I could score her a zero I would, as I can only assume that the positive reviews come from patients she actually turned up on time to see.

Firstly, Dr Basu’s secretary is an extremely impolite, curt (...rude actually) person to deal with.

Despite me submitting my authorisation code weeks before my appointment she text me, at 1201 Sunday afternoon, 31 hours before my appointment the next day at 7pm on Monday 29th June with Dr Basu telling me “..you need to provide the authorisation code today (being Sunday 28th June) to avoid any charges to yourself.”

I responded I’d already sent the details in, besides which it was a Sunday and I didn’t appreciate either the timing or tone of her text.Despite this I had a further text from her on Sunday at 1736 again asking for the code.

I sent the code to her 0833 Monday 29th June.

Got to Ashtead Hospital at 6.45pm ahead of my 7pm appointment that evening.

7.15pm and no Dr Basu. Went to reception to be told she wasn’t even in the building yet and was ‘running late.’

Having been at work since 5.45am that morning I said I wasn’t prepared to wait any longer and that I found it utterly disrespectful when a minority of private consultants treat mere mortals like with me with such disdain. I left the hospital at 7.20pm and she had not arrived at that point.

Of course, I have received no apology, whatsoever either from said rude secretary or Dr Basu herself. Instead of which, I received a call from St Anthonys to make me an appointment with a different consultant...clearly, having the decency to apologise and reschedule is beneath both Dr Jayasharee Basu and her secretary.

Disappointing, but of course not surprising...clearly her time is valuable, mine is not, and I can only imagine what would have happened had I pitched up the thick end of half hour late without letting her know.

In my experience, a discourteous consultant supported by a discourteous secretary whom you’d do well to avoid unless, like me, you wish to be treated with utter contempt.

So only way I can get to post feedback about this experience is on Doctify's own profile on Trustpilot.

My surgery went extremely well, and I truly believe that Dr. Ghosh saved my life. His skill, calm presence, and humanity gave me strength at a time when I felt mentally and physically exhausted. To me, Dr. Ghosh is a hero, and I will always remain grateful for everything he has done.
I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Radiologist William, whose careful and thorough scan identified five cysts, when previously only three had been seen. His attention to detail ensured that every cancerous cyst was found, allowing Dr. Ghosh to remove them all. I am profoundly thankful for his expertise — it made a life‑changing difference.
My gratitude also goes to the anaesthetist, the nursing team, and the physiotherapist, each of whom treated me with kindness, patience, and professionalism.
A special thank you to Nurse Jenny and Naudia whose warm, supportive, and friendly approach made me feel safe and cared for during every moment.
This has been one of the most difficult periods of my life, yet the entire team made it bearable with their dedication, empathy, and exceptional care.

Mr Latham put me at ease and explained in depth the proposed procedure and was very thorough. I have every confidence now in going ahead.

Avoid at all cost. Once you subscribe, it’s almost impossible to cancel. A transparent company must make cancellation easy and readily available online. Account managers are helpful until you subscribe and then no one cares. I would strongly advise against using this company for any doctor. Waste of time and money.

As a healthcare provider, I joined Doctify expecting a platform focused on genuine patient feedback and transparency.

Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. We reported reviews that we believed may not have originated from genuine patients. The review link had previously been shared publicly, meaning that anyone with access to the link could potentially leave a review. Despite raising this concern, we were not provided with a clear explanation of how the reviewer was verified as a genuine patient of our clinic.

The reviews remain anonymous, which means healthcare providers are often unable to verify whether the reviewer was ever a patient, investigate the matter properly, or address concerns directly with the individual involved.

I fully support genuine patient feedback, whether positive or negative. However, I believe healthcare review platforms should be able to demonstrate that reviews come from actual patients and relate to real treatment experiences.

I asked several questions regarding the verification process and am still seeking greater transparency around how patient status is established when concerns are raised.

Based on my experience, I feel there is room for improvement in transparency, verification procedures, and communication with healthcare providers.

My father died just over a year ago following horrendous care under two different specialists. We ended up getting an independent review of the care provided and many of our grievances were upheld. After a year of distress and huge upset I wanted to review both specialists but without a link from their secretaries I was unable to do so on Doctify. For obvious reasons, neither specialists’ secretaries sent a review link. I emailed Doctify three times and failed to get suitable response, despite offering to provide copies of the independent ruling. So, how can Doctify offer an honest platform when they rely on doctors sending review links to patients and therefore picking and choosing who gets to review? They can’t. Furthermore Doctify’s customer service is abysmal To respond to the reply below, there was PLENTY of interaction between myself and the London Clinic regarding the care received that remains within the year and I offered to send documents over but this was met negatively. The actual care ended in April 2025 but the complaint went on for over a year. NOT TRUSTWORTHY AT ALL.

Dr Rahman at Epsom Hospital Derby Suite was very professional yet he had obviously read my history of COPD and I cannot believe his care and attention
I have been taking certain medication and accepting his advice he gave me
Which I have acted on especially his advice about me losing a stone in weight which he said would help my breathing better

Dr Kenny Sunmboye is a great doctor. Very compassionate and caring. Listens and practises with empathy.

Mr Ramon Tahmassebi,Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon,specialising in Hand/Wrist Trauma….Ramon provided excellent ‘customer care’;pre-op,with both empathetic,& also positive as to a successful outcome.
He booked several ‘follow-up’ sessions after the op,& I was delighted with his warm & encouraging manner,noting my recovery from this difficult procedure which was threatening to derail my career as a performing musician.
Couldn’t wish for a more skilled & all -round great surgeon-highly recommended!

I was under Dr Riem Johnson, for ring finger operation which took two and three quarter hours. Meticulous and thorough, and caring throughout. I would have no hesitation in recommending this surgeon for this type of operation. Signed off and as good as new.

I have seen have seen Dr Rich Ellis on 2 occations i find him to be very profesional take his time to explain every thing to do with your symptoms and gives good information on how to deal with them over he his a first class doctor

I made a private appointment to see Mr Edward Yates at Wilmslow Private Hospital as I’ve been suffering from knee pain for several years now that has really been been impacting on my mobility. My initial consultation with Mr Yates was very thorough and he was able to arrange an ex-ray and he provided me with a clear diagnosis with recommendations for help in the interim. On my follow up appointment I received a Hydrocortisone injection into my knee. It was amazing as the pain started to reduce almost immediately. I don’t like injections but Mr Yates was very skilful in administrating it. I found Mr Edward Yates very easy to talk to, his explanations were very clear and concise. I would imagine that he would put his patients at ease if he was undertaking a more major procedure ie, joint replacement. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mr Edward Yates for joint treatment or replacement.

Used to be a great website to check out doctors but has been broken for some time. I e-mailed hello@ to point this out two weeks ago but no response. Website just shows 403 Error. I'm not using a VPN and based in the UK so really no legitimate reason. Seems to be poorly configured server.
