Have 500 metres of mature beech hedge, went through Oleo mac hedetrimmer, then echo which is good but heavy. Went for the Sthil hl 94 long reach hedgetrimmer powerful and light well worth the investment.

I found the staff at the Cork shop extremely helpful & their advice to be helpful & relevant. Recently bought a small battery operated lawnmower for my small lawn & about a year ago bought a battery operated strimmer. Both easy to handle & operate which is very important to me.

Arrived not knowing what we wanted or needed for our garden. Douglas forest & garden has loads of options, so we knew we were in the right place. I called to DFG on a Friday afternoon after work to look at a robot lawnmower. I got great information and insights from tall Greg and ordered the machine.

Excellent experience, they had the product I was looking for, the website had the specifications for the product (which helps ordering the right product). They sent a new customer gift which is always a nice touch. A really well run business, the owner is a obviously in it for the long run.

I was expecting a service for €45 but the repairman’s boss told me €140. Reason? Bad petrol. I won’t be going back there again.

Called to the shop today about a blade for a strimmers, because I didn’t know the brand of strimmers off hand i was told by a member of staff not to call back. I said id bring up the strimmers and he said dont call to me with it, if your not buying brand names from them they dont care

I bought an Ego chainsaw from DFG on-line last year, which was delivered very quickly. I recently had an issue with the battery and it was replaced under warranty immediately. Fantastic service and I will definitely be back!
