I went by the name on the top of my repair docket which is "Douglas forest and garden", Frankfield, Cork. I find it hard to believe there is no connection between the two businesses with almost identical names and sitting alongside each other but Im sorry if I got it wrong. I dont want to mess with your business as I have purchased there in the past and found your product to be of excellent quality so I removed the review. In its place I leave a five star review because the lawnmower that I purchased from you many years ago is still going strong.

We at Douglas Forest and Garden do not own or run a workshop. The Repair workshop in the buildings next to us in the yard here is owned and run by somebody else. The staff and owners there have absolutley nothing to do with us here in Douglas Forest and Garden. If it was a good quality stihl product the warranty and repair is done here in house by us , any other repairs to different brands is not done by us.
The business you are reffering to is called "Douglas small machine services ltd" , we would appreciate if you could remove the negative unfair comment wrongly made against our company please?

Highly recommend this business after my…
Highly recommend this business after my first interaction with them. I was looking for a specific part for an old lawnmower, with difficulty, until I contacted this company. They went out of their way to source and order the part for me. They were the only company to offer me this; everyone else told me the part was obsolete. Collected the part today after contacting them Friday. Top class to deal with and could not have been more helpful. While there I saw that they have a vast range of parts and bits and pieces for lawnmowers, strimmers etc- will definitely return for future purchases as they are highly likely to meet my needs and were a pleasure to deal with.

Visited store with a Pro Saw MS 461…recall
Visited store with a Pro Saw MS 461 inquiring about a Stihl recall for leaky fuel line.
My saw serial number is in the recall list.
They claim no knowledge of any recall even though it's on Stihl website.
Owner only wanted to lecture but not listen.
Don't trust them nor Stihl any more.
Saw for sale now next one will be a Husky
Stihl website recall serial numbers:173092800 to 181993952.
My saw 181825650.
Saw purchased from you and supplied by Origo to you.

Now Now Mr Kelly , Please tell the truth and stop telling porkies.
1. You were told by Stihl Ireland that your saw serial number DID NOT fall into the recall,and it was a way earlier model that were effected yet you came to our shop and gave our staff in the workshop a lot of abuse when you were asked to leave the saw with us and they will double check up on the recall for you.
2. When you asked to speak to the owners of the business we continually asked you what was the problem and we tried to explain what we were going to do for you but you would NOT listen to a word we tried to say. We were very calm with you even thou you were extremely agitated and aggressive.
3. That said saw was not even purchased here by you or whom ever sold you the saw but we were going to help you if you let us speak.
4. We thank you for our very first rating on Trust pilot and will now trive to get a better rating of 1 star that you think this business deserves. Onwards and upwards
