The meat is always so tender and tasty…
The meat is always so tender and tasty in the Beef cheek in jus meal we always include it in our selection.
The Cumberland sausage curl is scrumptious fried with tomatoes from the Greenhouse.
We wondered why the sausage does not have a little rubbed sage to give it that authentic Cumberland sausage flavour?
We are working through the product ranges however the two mentioned are firm favourites.

My first order.
First of all, excellent packing of goods, nothing was damaged. I have tried half of the items ordered including bacon, pies, sausage rolls and quiche. The pork pie was actually one of the best I have ever had. All the other items were very good and I will be reordering some of them.

Top Notch!
The meat is excellent and very well packaged. However, the Beef Wellington I recently purchased, although very nice, due to the size (serves 2), the mushroom pate melts into the meat rather than being a separate "feature"; ideally, it needs to be bigger and to serve 4 - I think then it would cook better and look like the picture. I understand why it's been made smaller but for £37, I think it's a little over priced.
I will continue to buy my meat from Dukeshill and I'd also like to mention that the customer service is very good, also. Despite the slightly negative review of the Beef Wellington, I would still highly recommend DukesHill for quality and service.

The food was exceptional BUT...
The food was exceptional, and we will definitely order from you again BUT the communications were a bit problematic. Firstly, I had to phone you to get the 10% discount for first ever order properly applied. Then the order information had no mention at all of the free fillet of salmon I was promised, so I was not sure whether that had been included until checking by phone. Then, when the goods were delivered, the St George's Ham came with cooking instructions! This sent me into a momentary panic as I have never cooked a ham that large before and haven't got the equipment to do so. This was the centre piece of the table for 16 guests next day, so didn't want to serve them a raw ham! Of course the ham was actually cooked, but it arriving with instructions how to cook frightened the horses unnecessarily! It was funny in the end but please send better literature with your cooked hams.

Fabulous customer service
I have been a customer for a few years. We particularly love the steak pies ( you must give them a try). They are packed full.of.meqt in a nice pastry and freezer well too.
During the heatwave my order that was due to arrive for a family picnic was delayed by a day which meant it would be too late. I phoned to cancel.my order as I was away all.weekend. The order still arrived so was no good after two days on the doorstep. All I can say is give this company a chance to rectify before posting a bad review. I informed them and they have gone up.and beyond to rectify this. They were very apologetic and immediately agreed to refund me. I then got a message through their FB page saying they would like to send my order again completely free of charge which they did and as always the food was outstanding, quiches, pork pie, sausage rolls, salmon, steak pies all amazing. Their customer service and attention to detail is second to none.
I was initially upset as it was a lot of food and money to waste but I now have every confidence to order again knowing that on occasions when mistakes happen they will put right.
Thank you Dukeshill Team, you are all a credit to the company.
