I wanted an icing photo of my choir to put on a celebration cake. I cannot believe how good the definition of the Eat your Photo one is that I received. Also next day delivery even more impressive. Just amazing 🥳so happy thank you.

Delivery: The cake was delivered on time and the print looked great.

Taste: The cake itself did not taste very good (chocolate filling). It’s a very bland synthetic taste.

Main reason for negative review: we found a piece of animal (?) bone inside the cake!

Will not order from them again.

The cake was perfect!

I was hoping the photo that I sent filled the whole cake as the original image was landscape and had a lot of blank space on the left but the way most of the image filled up the cake was really funny and what I was hoping for. Loved the writing on it too (and it tasted great!)

I ordered a icing decoration to cover a cake made to to celebrate Compton Verney Art Gallery being shortlisted as one of the best Art Galleries and Museum in UK. The image I sent was a beautiful view of Compton Verney, taking in the lake and a modern bronze statue - everyone was impressed and I hope will become future customers. This is the second decoration I have ordered - Eatyourphoto are brilliant to deal with, polite and helpful. And, most important, deliver on time.

Ordered on 09/07/25 and website advertised same day dispatch and next day delivery. They queried my order the next day which was good, I replied within an hour. I’m waiting and waiting. No dispatch in 3 days. Emailed 3 times, called 7! Birthday cake due 12/07/25 it is now the 11th… emailed again asking for a refund. They replied informing me I did not email back! I have proof. Poor company, poor commutation too. They also told me on the 9th they told me payment never processed when this was not the case! They asked me about the quantity of the order which I confirmed.

Shocking staff, no apology and no cake. Cake shop is cheaper and dispatches the same day. Using them instead. Half the price and better service.

Ordered on Sunday, super easy to download photo, it arrived Tuesday, so pleased with the cake topper, the background had gone as I asked, the photo was clear and colours true to life. I have husband, son and grandson all sharing the same birthday who will be very pleased with the cake.

I ordered a cake for my son’s 13th bday… my son isn’t the biggest fan of cake but needed to get one for the party. My god this cake was the nicest cake I have ever eaten! From now on I will be an ordering a birthday cake from here all the time. Thank you so much

I ordered edible cake toppers but they didn’t separate and just ripped I emailed eat your photo but they didn’t bother to reply!!! I found another company much bettery

The ordering was easy and when cut the cake was delicious. The delivery driver carried the cake on its side and took no care at all - the box was damaged and the cake was broken on one side. Disappointed in an otherwise good service. I mailed the company the day the cake arrived, but to date I have received no response.

Was worried about ordering a cake online but honestly couldn't be happier with my purchase. Great photo quality and the cake was amazing, it arrived on time and in great condition & stayed good for a couple days (arrived Thurs morning & was eaten on Sat afternoon)

Worked out perfectly. I did not order until Monday for delivery on Wednesday - the company responded instantly to email queries; the process was very very simple - incl uploading the photo. Having it delivered by DPD to a pick up point 5 mins walk from where I live was perfect; the cake was very well wrapped - the topping had slipped marginally somehow but it did not matter and the look of the cake was fantastic - I ordered the 10" for 45 people and plenty to eat and a good cake. Everyone was full of praise.

This is my second time ordering from eatyourphoto. The first time the cake was beautiful. Very soft and tasted great.

Unfortunately this time the fondant was hard and cracked all the way round and the cake, although soft, has an awful strange taste. I’m very reluctant to serve this to guests so I’ve just wasted £38 on a cake that’s going in the bin.

Brilliant! Sent the photo of a scout badge on Sunday and on Tuesday 30 perfect in detail and colour edible badges arrived. Thanks to you I amazed 30 8-10 year old scouts!! Thoroughly recommend this company for efficiency, attention to detail AND giving the WOW factor! Thank you.

We needed a cake with only a few days notice. Was initially skeptical that someone could turn a cake around in the time needed. Read the reviews online and decide to use these guys.
All automated communication and updates were great. No hassle. Cake came when it was supposed to and matched our expectations.

Will be using them again no hesitation.

Cake itself was tasty and matched with the portion sizing given online.

All in nothing at all we would flag up as an issue. Ordered cake Wednesday evening and it was there Friday afternoon.

Can’t knock the fast delivery time when orders are correct however when orders are wrong they simply do not reply which is very poor customer service!

They have no problem responding straight away when it’s a general question however when something is wrong you are simply ignored!
I order regularly most months and will not be ordering again

I have used Eat your photo on several occasions and have always been happy with their quality and reliability.

I ordered some cakes to be delivered for a party to celebrate my late father's life. My credit card was processed and I received confirmation but no cakes.

Their telephone goes straight to voicemail but their mailbox is always full and no messages can be left. I sent an email and was told they would contact DPD and come back to me. Despite me chasing several times, no response was received.

As much as I love their cakes, I cannot use or recommend Eat your Photo again due to their lack of customer care and the uncertainty as to whether the cake will arrive. They do not answer the phone and the only form of contact is via email. To not have the courtesy of a reply and to be left not knowing whether we will have cakes for tomorrow's party is unacceptable.

My advice is to try and make contact with them before placing your order or you may be let down like I have.

There was a prompt first-class delivery of a very tasty lemon ‘canvas’ birthday cake. And the clear photo of my daughter’s garden gave us all such pleasure.

Ordered a 10inch photo cake and has been a huge winner with my family and friends all round!
Alot saying it's the best cake they've ever tasted!
Moist,light,gorgeous icing and the best taste...so don't think I will be going anywhere else from now on!
