Manuel was very helpful we been having a gnat problem and he helped us out the staff is always very friendly.

Expensive service that provided little value and horrible customer service. I was on a 2 year bi-monthly service contract and called to cancel after expiration. Rep. spent 20 minutes trying to convince me to postpone my account rather than cancel, then tried to keep me at a lower rate. After 20 minutes of back-and-forth he said I didn't meet my contractual obligation...that it was actually 13 services. I spent another 10 minutes reviewing contract with him, which made no mention of 13 services, only 2 years. Bottom line: Ecoshield will find every reason to keep you under contract, even outright lying. After close to 35 minutes, I was able to cancel...or that's what they said.

If you’re hiring door-to-door sales reps who violate this sign in Cobb county, be advised that this is also a violation of local ordinances and punishments can include a $1000.00 fine.
If you’re hiring illiterates, that’s on you!
Further, I will absolutely file a formal complaint, and will upgrade my sign with an additional “No Trespassing” sign, if that is violated, I will see you in Civil court!

They show up to treat your home when you’re not there. You get notifications that they will be there a couple days in advance and they give a time window like the cable guy in the middle of the work week. Between 11-1 on a Tuesday for example. When you cancel the service online they text you and tell you to call. After a 15 minute phone tree you’ll get connected to a fella in Mumbai that you can’t understand who won’t cancel your service until they run through their upsell routine. Hire a local guy that you know and someone who has a business you can drive to.

No stars actually. Deceptive marketing practices are their standard operating procedure. Sign you into a long term contract with penalties for cancellation, then screw you over when you do try to cancel.

Everything everyone else has stated - true. They suck. Avoid them like the plague.

I think I'll contact my relative in the county prosecutors office, then the state Attorney General. The scam techniques they're using should certainly be illegal.

We have bees. The technician was polite, on time, and tried to remove them. He said they would be gone in a couple of days. They were not gone. Called again. Ecoshield said we would have to wait 7-10 days for the product to work. He came out again and sprayed with a product he said would kill them instantly, and several did drop dead. However, the nest is still very active after 4 days. Called again. They said we would have to wait another 7-10 days. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The woman I spoke with said the supervisor would call me that day. She did not call.Meanwhile, I am sure the nest
is growing larger, and from what I read, we will now have to call a professional exterminator, and continue to pay Ecoshield for services that were not satisfactory. How does this company continue to exist with all these poor reviews? What can be done to end their (our) misery?

They are running a scam. They do a half-baked first service and tell you they'll be back to complete it. They don't and when you try and cancel they dock you with hidden fees in contracts.

This is the worst company. They trap you with expensive contracts and that you can't get out of, and their customer service is beyond horrible. I have never had a worst experience.

Let me start by saying that we live in a rural area outside of Poulsbo, WA. Our driveway is long and tucked away—most people wouldn’t even know it’s there unless I showed them a picture. We also have a clearly posted PRIVATE PROPERTY sign at the beginning of our drive, along with a No Soliciting sign right next to our front door.

To make it even more frustrating, I have never contacted this company, requested information, or expressed any interest in their services.

Apparently, those signs didn’t mean much to this company. Around 6:30 this evening, my husband answered the door to find one of their technicians, who had walked all the way down our long driveway from the main road in an attempt to solicit our business.

We chose to live out here for the peace, quiet, and privacy, and so did our neighbors. It’s incredibly frustrating when someone ignores clearly posted signs and trespasses onto private property just to make a sales pitch. Respecting homeowners’ wishes—and their property—shouldn’t be optional.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, one star is apparently the participation trophy for ignoring “Private Property” and “No Soliciting” signs.

A technician visited, claimed to find rat droppings and termites, and pushed a ~$6,000 quote to seal your roof vents (wasp prevention) and switch termite companies — pressuring you to decide on the spot as if it were urgent.
Two independent companies inspected the house and yard afterward and found no rat droppings, no termites, and said vent-sealing isn’t standard practice.
That pattern — scare tactic, inflated diagnosis, artificial urgency, bundled unrelated services — is a classic high-pressure sales script, not a legitimate inspection finding. This is not a trustable company.
I canceled the service and was charged a $250 early-termination fee that I wasn’t expecting because I was not told this before, but this is my fault for not checking when I hired them
I really do not recommend this company!!!

I have been having a hard time dealing with EcoShield. It looks like from all the bad reviews here, and from several others sites, that I am not alone in this.
For me this nightmare started in June 2025
ECOShield goes door to door, and pushes their company on you. At the time when the gentleman came, I was in the middle of something and initially told him "NO" I was not interested. He was very friendly and persistant. I didn't want to be rude, so I let him go on to tell me about their service.
I nicely said, "no" again, and that I was in the middle of something. He just kept going on. He said he could drop the price from $500 to $189/quarterly, starting that day of $199, I told him that was still too high. He started looking around and then went on about my brick beetles or whatever they're called and said he could get rid of them. I do hate those beetles and stupid me said "okay." The only reason I accepted was because he said, "I COULD CANCEL AT ANY TIME!"
He did "NOT" tell me there was a CONTRACT, but that they would call or text before the next service and AGAIN, I COULD CANCEL ANYTIME UP TO JUNE OF 2026. He had a PAD, not a paper sighning. He did NOT show me really what I was sighning, just scrolled down to where I sign. I thought I was signing for my credit card to pay the first initial $199. Then he got his stuff and went around the house and sprayed. Everything went fast.
Then in July another guy came and I was charged $189 I really didn't like paying that much, but okay I still had bugs to kill. There was no communication he just showed up. NO TEXT, NO EMAIL
Then in Oct again they just automatically charged me $189 again NO TEXT, NO EMAIL
I am retired, so I am home. I did not see ANYONE come to do anything, dogs didn't bark either, but okay maybe I was on a walk.
Then in February, I got a text and an email that they were coming out. First time I received both. I called them and what I got was someone in a call center in India. Odd, since the number I called had a local area code.. I got a gal whom I had a hard time understanding her, but I explained I did not want the service anymore, and that it was to expensive and I wished to Cancel the service. She started the hard sell, and asked if they lowered the price would I continue. Well okay again stupid me, but we had spiders so she lowered it to $119. I told her after this service I wanted to cancel and she said, "sure,sure, and would gladly take care of it. I thought I was done. OHHH NOOO
I noticed on my bank account that charge was not from ECHSheild but a PROsheild. Odd
Then came April and I got another text and email. I called and same thing someone from India, this gal was snippy, rude and I seriously could not understand a word she said. I said, not to be rude, but could I talk to a suppervisor or someone who can speak clearer English. Pause...then she came back on, I knew it was her again, and said, can I talk to the supervisor, (classic customer service response to avoid a manager) she said, "she was the supervisor," that upset me. So I told her that I had cancelled my service in January. THIS IS WHEN I FOUND OUT THAT APPARENTLY I AM IN A CONTRACT!! She was barking at me that if I cancelled there would be a $250 cancellation charge. I barely understood that, and we went back and forth, she just repeated herself, I think. I asked for her name and well I couldn't make out. At this time I was getting agitated, and said, to have someone else call me that can speak english or email me. When I hung up I got a text asking to review ERNESTOS service? I was like who is Ernesto? Certainly not her. NOBODY CAME TO MY HOUSE TO SPRAY, I WAS OUTSIDE. MY DOG DIDN'T BARK.
I've now been receiving email after email, call after call, all different numbers none of which are associated with these people, along with text after text that I owe them $250 cancellation charge.
NOW WHAT? When you call you get the call center over and over. I'm guessing they will send it to collections. Then I'm going to be P****D!!
The bottom line is, that EcoShield disguised cancellation penalties as promotional discounts, and now are aggressively in a collection effort against customers who tried to cancel. I have filed with the BBB and found out there is a class action lawsuit, that I intend to join.

I blindly signed a 12-month contract with them without checking reviews. I had two services with them in May and June 2026 and after the second service, I ended up getting ants in my house. I called to cancel my service since I no longer trust the company and their product or lack of service. I was on the phone with them for almost 40 minutes with them trying to come back and "make things right!" I asked for cancellation and a refund since the two services cost me $438. Ultimately, they let me cancel and waived the early termination fee when I brought up the BBB and how many bad reviews and BBB complaints they have. This company should not be in business at all.

If you invite Ecoshield into your home it is analogous to joining a cult. They will never let you out. They do not perform good service and they will offer discounts if you complain enough, but they will not let you cancel the agreement. All of their service representatives are offshore in the Philippians and they have no power to help you. This company does not understand the concept of “if we do a good job we can earn our client’s loyalty.” Instead they use the tactics employed by cable companies in the 90s. We will lock you into a contract, we will suck and you are screwed. I actually would rather have bugs…oh wait I do because they are no good at pest control.

Work was expressly contingent on treating carpenter bees on the initial service and following services. Spent 30 minutes clarifying this with the salesperson and the manager. The next day the technician showed up and did not know he was supposed to treat for bees, he did not have the correct equipment and the work did not get completed as agreed. I cancelled the contract within the 3 days and tried to get a partial refund for the initial service since they did not do what was promised… the reason I signed up. I spent two hours over a month talking to multiple customer service members at EcoShield to no avail. Would never use this company again

This company is a scam company. I started with a 2 year contracted and call to pay the fee to cancel the contract, the rep drop the price and secured a remaining 1 year contract stating my contract would be canceled once that years was over. Come to find out not the case. They sent an unauthorized tech out to complete and unauthorized services, charged me for it and are refusing to give me a refund. They are blaming me saying I should have known better even though their rep told me it would be canceled after the year. This company is a joke.

This company is fraudulent when it comes to billing they constiune to bill my credit card monthly payment when it's should be quarterly so I called to ask them about my service they service my home I told them they didn't do anything not one service the same wasps nest was in the same place it was when they started the service I ask about a credit back to my since they admit they did nothing so why should I pay for service when you do nothing these people are crazy I wouldn't have them service my dog house for fleas because they don't know what to look for nothing Thomas king

This Ecoshield goes around door to door lying about others in the community that are clients ...they have no respect for those they seek bus8ness from...they approached me in the mid-afternoon when I was busy at work on my house by strong willed presentation on my front porch when I said I was not interested but asked if I had those big spider problems and if I had them to spray my yard and house those would be killed. Quickly we will give a discount from the usually $500 charge for only $139.00 ...and they would guarantee the bugs and spiders would be killed. No contract explained or shown to me but a tablet computer was presented for me to have the pest b spray done today. But no explanation that I had three day window for cancellation. None of that was discussed but a hasty way to get money for a period of a year for $69.00 mo. I told him that I was selling my house and that I plan to move within 6 months. Yet, they said we'll work with you to allow that...but nothing contractually was signed. The salesman said to call him if I had a problem. They sprayed but the insects and spiders c are multiplying...ive called by phone at least 4 times and asked to speak with the salesman Miller but no return call. I discussed the problem that their quick service and spraying was not completed and needed attention. ECOSHIELD SAID THEY WOULD schedule one and let me know...but they showed up when I was not at home or didn't at all without my knowing when they would come by for finishing the job. I was charged $139. Init ially and recurring $69.00 this month since their door to door salesman showing up on Junec10, 2026. They are a scam to everybody. I want my money back and canceled their lack ofvservice!

Pushy door to door sales people. They came to my home and after I explained I would like some info so I can research the company, he kept asking me why and what am I looking to research. He became pushy and frustrated. I told him to leave. And closed my door. I see why this company has bad reviews. The employees they have coming to your door have no customer service or people skills. I will never do business with someone questioning me about why ,when and how about my property. Absolutely disgusting service .

This company goes around harassing you and your neighbors. They even LIED and told a neighbor I personally use their services, and I do not. It seems they will do anything they can to drum up business, including lying on who uses them. Not to mention, they have their salespeople come around late at night (9:30pm!!) trying to get you to sign a contract. Their salespeople are very pushy, would not take no for an answer, often going to the same address more than 2 times the same day. I would never do business with a company that tries to get business by lying and deceit.

Pushy salesman, but I bought in because we have a yellow jacket problem. They were never, in five, yes FIVE, visits, able to even complete the treatment even though the salesman was completely aware of the location of the nests. (One tech was afraid of heights- the nest is in the shingles of a balcony). We were still charged and then they have the gall to start charging $70 monthly for doing nothing and without even completing the initial treatment. They refused to refund the $70 and plan to charge a hefty cancellation fee even tho THEY breached the contract by not providing services. Here comes the credit card dispute- and I have all my documentation of many efforts to work with this company. I’ve been trying for a month! DO NOT EVEN THINK of using them!!!!! I only wish I hadn’t caved to pressure and started this. Lesson learned.
