I ordered sunglasses on 8th August. Confirmation but no delivery date. It is 22nd now and sent two emails and phoned but no response. I will give them the statutory time and then I will speak to my credit card company re this firm. If I do not receive in the next few days I would say don't buy from this company very poor customer service they don't care about their customers. Very disappointed.

BEWARE! This company is a scammer. Overcharges, doesn't answer emails, and has one of the poorest customer services around. DO NOT BUY.

Fantastic service, ordered on the evening on the 3rd August and they arrived by lunchtime on the 5th August. Glasses were packed securely and came with a free glass cleaner shaker

I ordered a pair of Porsche Design sunglasses and was sent a pair of cheap Polaroid sunglasses instead. All attempts to contact the company have been ignored.

This has been outstanding for a number of weeks so clearly there is no intention to resolve and therefore is not an innocent mistake but a deliberate ploy to defraud customers

I ordered a pair of sun glasses for my daughters wedding. The order was placed 2nd July. The order was due to arrive 16th July, I got an email on 17th July to inform me of a delay. It is now 10th Aug and I have been unable to get any response from this company. My card was charged immediately but as yet no glasses !
I have tried many times to phone and email. no one answers the phone, an automated messages says they are busy and please try later.The email automated response is super speedy but no actual reply to any of the many emails that I have sent to ask when my order might arrive.
So frustrating and so disappointing too. Get your act together Edel Optics!!!!

Good poduct from a good company

Despite what I read abt some negative reviews. I went ahead and ordered my Hugo Boss frame on next day delivery. Fortunately it arrives in good condition and on time. Thank you very much.

First time customer and very impressed, good communication throughout and really happy with my purchase !

Just bought another pair from EO. Always the best price for the genuine product delivered without fuss. They also have a clear returns policy although I have never needed to use it in the five or so years that I have been a customer. Recommended.

It’s the worst customer service I have experienced with an online retailer. Such a frustrating experience and still don’t have the product I purchased or a refund. Feels like a scam.

I placed an order for a pair of Prada sunglasses on 11 June 2022. Shortly after I received an email confirming this and that I should expect to receive the sunglasses by 30 June, instead of the original 25 June date quoted to me.

It is now 28 JULY and I still don’t have them. I wanted to use these for several summer holidays, which have now passed.

Their last communication to me was an “apology” for the delay - which they said was “due to their supplier not delivering the sunglasses to them on time”. So basically they don’t actually have the stock they say they do?? I was told I would receive the sunglasses by 21 July instead. It’s now a week past this date, I’ve received no communication, and they are also not answering my emails about what is going on.

I feel like I’ve just been scammed out of £170. My husband has ordered from them before but we won’t be in the future because of this awful experience.

Edit: as of 8 August I still have not received any communication back from Edel Optics, following three emails to them. Nearly 2 months after I placed my order. The only option I can see is to contact my credit company for a refund.

Ordered as replacement frames as original frame couldn’t be fixed.
Frames arrived very quickly, took them to local direct specs who fixed the lenses into the new frames on the same day. Excellent service all round.

Ordered glasses from this company on 15th July received them on 26th July so not the timescale they say. Glasses arrived, can see straight away one of the arms is distorted and the glasses do not sit right. Have tried to arrange a returns label 3 times but still nothing, called the Uk number and German number (number on invoice does not exist when you dial it) but no response. Not a good service from this company so will now arrange a section 75 with my credit card company.
