Buying the new eFoldi compass
Rang about did eFoldi do a 4-wheeler as my condition had made the Explorer no longer ideal. Was told about the new Compass. Cliff turned up to demonstrate within two days. He was punctual. polite, and helpful. The Compass fitted my new needs and I should take delivery on Wednesday.

Buyer beware
I’m a qualified electrical engineer and ran a circuit board testing company for 15 years. I have had an Efoldi 1.5 for 4 years and loved every minute of it. However on more than one occasion I’ve had to look at the electrics mainly for wires coming out of connector blocks. Also a couple of years ago after in flight damage I replaced the speed switch and throttle. I bought identical parts on line for a fraction of the cost efoldi wanted and they’ve worked perfectly. Then the scooter suddenly lost all power and I got into the electrics to see if I could sort it out. I then fully realised what an amateur structure it was based on. It was typical of a Chinese toy manufacturer. I asked efoldi for a schematic or wiring diagram and was told they didn’t have one. I asked if I could contact the manufacturer and told they were the manufacturer but they still didn’t have a wiring diagram. I was told their skilled engineers would be able to sort it out and as I was helpless I sent it for repair. To save their engineers time, rather than reassemble it I explained it in all in a letter. It was all completely misunderstood and they accused me of using it with all the electrics exposed. I was told before they could begin to find the fault they would have to replace all the parts I had fitted including the headlight. It was suggested buying one of their reconditioned models would be cheaper than the cost of a repair. I now think their skilled engineers are merely assemblers and are not capable of fault finding. I do not want to detract from my opinion of the scooter..apart from the lack of up to date electrics…without a doubt, it is one of the best on the market but it is like a TV or washing machine if there is a fault get another one, the cost of repair is too expensive.
After I’d decided to forego the repair I arranged to have the scooter collected by DPD and returned. I did not receive the shipment and DPD say they had returned it to Efoldi because of either a missing label or bad paperwork. Efoldi have said they didn’t receive it so nobody knows where it is.

Fantastic company
Fantastic company. Craig was absolutely brilliant, polite, professional and answered all questions. I thank him so much for such an amazing demonstration, and making life so easy for my dad. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

My elderly father
My elderly father, aged 86 was very interested in these after seeing a TV advert. Very easy to order the brochure, also organize a non obligation home demonstration. A lovely man called Cliff came, on time. He showed us the explorer and the lite mobility scooters. Unfortunately my father did not think either were suitable. Unfortunately at his age, although not many clicks to open and close it, too many for him.

Brian and Darren were extremely helpful when I booked in my used ‘eFOLDI Explorer’. The repairs were made very quickly and I was soon on my way with a fully working scooter. Thank you for caring even though I did not buy from New. Highly Recommended. True customer service.

Just bought an efoldi explorer. It was demonstrated to me by Cliff. He was very knowledgeable, not pushy and a good laugh. If you are in the market for a mobility scooter I would highly recommend this company.

I have to once more comment on the…excellent service from Craig Pankhurst service
I have to once more comment on the excellent service we had and continue to have from Craig Pankhurst.
Even though we purchased the Efoldi lite in February 2025, while trying to book a cruise we needed specification on Amp and wattage, as we didn't have info with us we gave Craig Pankhurst a quick call he kindly sent info needed. Craig Pankhurst definitely gets 5* from us.

The eFoldi model we were interested in…Explorer
The eFoldi model we were interested in was the explorer. It handled our 20mm gravelled drive better than the Lite and its speed and ground clearance was well up to our needs. We were less keen on the foot rests moving with the steering and my wife's new knee did not allow her to stand astride the scooter before sitting otherwise we would have ordered one. Cliff, the company rep, could not have been more helpful and patient and we may well go back to him in an attempt to resolve our difficulties as the patient's recovery progresses

I find the company excellent
I find the company very good. When Cliff there demonstrator arrived he was very good at his job. He demonstrated the scooter very well. We spent just over 1 hour teaching me how to how to set the scooter up and put the scooter back into the suitcase position. I would like say Cliff is about the best demonstrator I had the pleasure to meet he was very thorough out the demonstration. The efoldi is the best scooter I have I have purchased

eFoldi Explorer
I purchased the Explorer because it was advertised for rough terrain, and golly it is amazing. I had Tom to visit to show me the machine and he was so patient with me.
My Explorer is my new best friend

eFOLDi are a caring and professional company.
I’ve got the Navigator powered chair and I love it! Right from the initial contact with eFOLDi to the pleasant sales chap who visited and demonstrated all the products so thoroughly, and the fast delivery… tip top experience all round! I can highly recommend eFOLDi.

Customer selection

You are excluding a huge percentage of customers who will not consider your product when it comes to buying any mobility products. I am potentially, one of those customers

My eFOLDi navigator is a wonderful…
My eFOLDi navigator is a wonderful piece of equipment. My mobility isn’t what it used to be and it has given me my freedom back. I can now go out with my friends,see my grandchildren and go to the park with them. Amazing product !!

Love love love my eFOLDi Lite. it’s given me a new lease of life. Having the solid tyres is a lifesaver, no more anxiety about getting a puncture whilst out and about and the armrests make is so comfortable!

The brakes are useless once on…
The brakes are useless once on transport. I take buses and every turn means I’ve got to grip hold tight as despite having both on I start to move about. On one occasion I was sent flying to the other side and almost hit a service dog and its owner.
The takeover section is a bad design as you have to use a thumb to push the device and at the same time try to negotiate pushing the efoldi around using the handles, you can’t do both making it awkward. Recommendation: It would have been better if the go forward etc was on the side of the handle.
You can’t put a back pack to carry things on the back as this then has the tendency to fall backwards.
It also has the tendency to easily go out of control depending upon the surface. Can’t always be on smooth areas because only places like arcades have them.
Tried talking to customer services about issues but nobody picks up.
The upside is I get to go out after 4yrs. Have had wheelchair but carer found hard to push me around even the slightest incline or rough surfaces, also limited where we could go.
Despite issues with the takeover part, it does make it easier for difficult surfaces and awkward sections like curbs, not all are flat enough or none at all. At crossings or door areas that are made at the start up and down, too raised, these are all times needed for takeovers plus buses are narrow to negotiate when entering, also drivers don't use the down to curb pressure so it’s uphill slightly but enough to get out of control.
I’ve just chosen one date but issues are every Tuesday when I’m taken out and have been since getting the efoldi

Great Navigator power chair !
