Jaz (engineer) came to our place and heqa quickly identified what was the issue within couple of seconds. And he said it will take max 1hr but less than 45 min he completed it and advised us about the thing we should do in the future. Excellent service and highly recommend.

Extortionate price quoted for labour…
Extortionate price quoted for labour 3500 installation plus 680 for flushing two radiators in a small flat. This is likely a one day job. I don't think they wanted to do this job for whatever reason.
Edit to respond to their reply: the water was not sampled by the engineer so how can they know its "contaminated". If they lie about that on trust pilot they will lie to you!

Thank you for your feedback, we learn from every one of them, good and bad. I just wanted to clarify a couple of things about the quote.
I've reviewed the notes from the engineer's visit, and I want to give a bit of context around the labour cost. This wasn’t just about flushing two rads and a towel rail. The system showed signs of contamination, with rusty water present. The pipework has been altered in the past and is not in the best shape—hence the recommendation for a proper power flush and clean, especially to protect the new boiler and maintain warranty compliance.
As for the install cost, the property needs a full combi swap, including the boiler being repositioned, upgraded safety measures, electrical and plumbing compliance, and certification. It’s not a basic plug-and-play job, and we quote to cover the full scope without leaving you exposed to surprise extras or warranty issues later down the line. We never inflate quotes to discourage business, but we won’t cut corners either.
If you'd prefer to proceed using your own installer, that’s completely fine—we’re still happy to support with configuration over video or phone if you decide to go ahead with one of our boilers.

I've spent 3 days chasing for updates…
I've spent 3 days chasing for updates regarding my delivery to be told that they are not responsible for third party delays and missed deliveries.
The first attempted delivery tried to take place when I received a call out of the blue saying it would have been delivered in 30 minutes, without any prior notice or correspondence.
I paid for contractors all day to wait for the second delivery attempt, which did not take place and for which I did not receive any updates or notifications. I only found out it was not coming after we called the depot ourselves hoping to understand what the situation was.
The delivery was then booked for the day after, which I was not even made aware of. Finally, on the last delivery attempt they provided a time slot of 11:00-12:00 and guaranteed it would arrive that morning. This turned out to be a 15:00-16:00 slot, which after I complained was then delivered at 14:08 as the delivery driver was kind enough to change his route due to the inconvenience and delays I had experienced.

Hi Maria, thank you for your feedback. For transparency, here is the full timeline:
11 June – Your boiler was dispatched. Our internal mistake: it was booked as an upgraded fixed-day delivery instead of the standard 3–5 working days, and this wasn't communicated to you.
13 June – Delivery was attempted without prior notice. You weren’t informed or contacted with an ETA. That was a failure on the delivery company's part. We absorbed the redelivery fee (£80).
14 June – You asked -via email- for the delivery to be scheduled for Tuesday 17 June, as your plumber would be on site.
16 June – We processed and confirmed this internally.
17 June – You requested an ETA. We replied that morning, confirming the pallet was out for delivery and the delivery company would call 1 hour before. Delivery didn’t happen due to a truck breakdown. The depot failed to contact you. We only found out at 4:22 PM after multiple chases.
18 June – New ETA (9:50–10:50 AM) was sent. Delivery was cancelled on-site after your team declined to bring the boiler up, which you acknowledged was fine. You then requested delivery for Friday, 21 June.
19 June – Our Team spoke with you repeatedly -via phone and email- and rebooked the delivery for next-day AM.
20 June – Delivery arrived at 2 PM instead of before noon, despite our AM request. After you informed us the plumber had been booked and were understandably upset, we asked for the driver's number (which we don’t have access to), contacted him directly, and managed to have your delivery prioritised—he arrived by 14:08. You raised a formal complaint and we shared our senior management contact as requested.
While the initial booking mistake was ours, and we owned that, from that point forward, we chased the delivery company, covered the reattempt, and took every step possible to get your boiler delivered within a very tight window.
We understand the frustration caused, especially when third-party couriers fail to communicate. As stated in our Terms & Conditions, we work with third-party carriers and cannot be held responsible for their delays or route disruptions. However, that doesn’t excuse the lack of communication or your poor experience. We take this seriously and are reviewing our SLAs and expectations with the delivery network to prevent this from happening again.

The most unprofessional company I’ve…
The most unprofessional company I’ve ever met. Our process started when I wrote a detailed email of what we needed, they didn’t reply/call me, so I email & fill in their contact form again. Finally after a month my wife telephoned them & they answered (1 month later). It’s important you know that it was ONLY that we are almost neighbours in Windsor that we stayed persistent.
The only way to move forward to get a boiler is to pay £60 for a man to come & look at. We arranged a date after paying the money & staying off work for him to arrive, very unfortunately he didn’t turn up, so I call them up & they say I must wait for a new appointment the following( no sorry we didn’t turn up or reason why) week. The following week a man arrived & as it’s a gated area I needed to give him a parking permit, he replied I won’t need a permit as it will just take less than 10mins (this was shocking first meeting). Inside our apartment any question's we asked he avoided & kept saying they would answer the questions. I was deeply unsettled by this man not answering anything & actually rushed away after just 7mins, he said he can’t answer any of our boiler problems especially & left.
After not receiving help or guidance after a few days we wanted our £60 back as it wasn’t correct at all to be charged for any service or question answering. Having taking half a day off work waiting for his arrival & he not turning up & then later taking some more time off work for him to arrive & help/answer questions, & just being here for 7mins.
I’ve had many quotes for the new boiler during the past weeks & it’s no fee for it from anyone of the company’s. All other installers & boiler fitters DO NOT charge anything.

Different companies have different policies, and we clearly state on our website and communications that our surveys are not free of charge. The survey fee covers the cost of arranging for an engineer to attend, assess the installation requirements, and provide a formal quotation.
We have not heard back from you since our last communication, but the refund has already been processed to resolve the matter.

Mixed experience with Electric Combi Boilers Company. Helpful customer service and skilled engineer Jaz were positives, but recurring boiler issues and high charges for servicing and parts can't be ignored. While some aspects are impressive, reliability remains a concern. Overall, decent support but would appreciate better durability for the boilers.

Incredibly efficient and lovely service
My compact Elektra boiler had been working perfectly for four years until last Boxing Day. I called the company on Dec 27th, not really expecting anyone to be in the office, let alone send an engineer before the end of the holidays. They answered first thing in the morning and had someone come to the house before noon; it was fixed within another half hour.
I’ve only had great experiences with the company. The guys who originally installed it were delightful, the engineer this winter was just as charming, and everyone in the office is helpful and friendly too.

We have purchased 15 boilers in 2023…
We have purchased 15 boilers in 2023 for apartment block contract . The after service is very poor . The boilers are now all leaking due to the inferior quality seals that have been fitted . The seals the company sent have also been the same poor quality that are now leaking again . We have had to purchase good quality seals from a supplier .
Shame as if they had proper seals fitted they would be great product . Boilers last a year or two then leak like a sieve .

Nobody wants boiler problems
Nobody wants boiler problems, but if you have them Jaz is the answer to your problems.
After two other plumbers failed, Jaz immediately diagnosed the issue and talked me through what he was doing in a very friendly manner as he fixed it.
He then gave me his number told me to call him with any questions or problems (twice I've messaged with questions and he's super quick to respond and very helpful).
I cannot speak highly enough of Jaz, don't waste your time, this is who you need for Electric Combi Boilers.

bad experience bolier breaks nearly every year , they then charge me £180 service charge and this year plus £120 parts £300 total will never use these cowboys again !! And bolier will probably break again in 6/7 months.

While we appreciate your feedback, it’s important to address the facts surrounding your recent service experience.
Your boiler purchased in November 2020, required three callouts over the years, all of which were handled promptly by our team. The breakdowns stemmed from specific issues, including improper installation and wear over time, which were addressed with the appropriate repairs.
During your most recent callout on 04.10.2024, we communicated both verbally and in writing that the service charge does not include the cost of spare parts. This information was confirmed via text message, by our engineer at the time of service, and in follow-up calls from our team. Our Team did its best to accommodate your repair as soon as possible providing priority scheduling and moving your service forward as soon as a slot became available without an emergency booking added charge.
While you initially refused to pay for the necessary parts, once our engineer communicated that the repair could not proceed without payment or authorisation for the parts, you agreed to make the payment. Despite this agreement, and several reminders over the course of eight days, the payment has not been received. As per our standard policy, we informed you that a late payment fee would apply if payment remained outstanding.
We are committed to providing quality service and ensuring our customers are satisfied. However, we expect mutual respect in all interactions. While frustrations are understandable, using threats of defamatory reviews as a means to avoid payment is unacceptable. We stand by the professionalism and integrity of our team and the service provided.
We’re happy to resolve any remaining issues, but we cannot tolerate disrespect towards our employees or the misrepresentation of facts. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please contact our Customer Service Team directly.

Been in rented accommodation with an…
Been in rented accommodation with an electric Combi boiler for 4 years, had an issue with fishy smell coming from boiler when running hot water. Called the company and was sent to a WhatsApp number what suggested an engineer call out to review. Jaz the engineer was super helpful & professional in identifying all the issue immediately, fixed it swiftly with all parts needed available. Also suggested adding a thermostat which he was able to do right then & then and will help us save on bills over winter! Overall really happy would recommend.

Best boiler company!
I honestly could not rate them any higher! From the minute I called and spoke to the lady on the phone, she organised an appointment with an engineer a few days later, her service was 10/10 even speaking me through the payment process etc. The engineer kept me up to date throughout the day with time updates as he was running late as well as a courtesy call in the morning to tell me his eta. The engineer was called Jaz, he was very professional, kind and knowledgeable. He was upfront with costs, identifying the problem swiftly and spoke me through what he was doing. He spent extra time once fixed to ensure that I was knowledgable on how to use the boiler; adjusting the temperature etc. I could not speak more highly of my experience with the electric combi boilers company. I would recommend to anyone who needs support and without a shadow of a doubt would be my first call if I needed any help in the future.
