I tried to visit Fast Pace Urgent Care
I tried to visit Fast Pace Urgent Care, located in Kodak, TN, on Wednesday, July 15th. I had tried to go to the urgent care closer to my home, but their wait time was ridiculous, so I traveled the extra seven miles to Fast Pace.
Upon my arrival, there wasn't one car in the parking lot, so I thought, "This is good, I should be able to be seen pretty quickly." I opened the front door and walked up to the counter where the receptionist (?) was sitting behind thick glass. She was on the phone, didn't even look up at me, so I waited patiently. When she hung up the receiver, she looked at me and without a greeting or a smile, I was told, in a voice that said that I am the most stupid person alive, that I'm "supposed to check in at the kiosk".
I checked in and took a seat. She called me to the window and asked if I had insurance. When I handed her my insurance card, she looked at it and very unkindly let me know that they don't take my health insurance. They take "Ambetter of Tennessee, not Ambetter of Florida". I explained to her that I DO have Ambetter of Tennessee. It's the same card I've always had and has the current Member ID#. She then asked me why I had an old insurance card? I told her that I hadn't received any new cards. In fact, I didn't even know that the old card said Florida. She replied with, "she didn't understand why the insurance ppl hadn't sent me a new card." I replied, I didn't know. She repeated herself three different times, three different ways, regarding the insurance company needing to send me new cards. Mind you, she's not speaking to me in a nice tone, she is being condescending and trying to make me feel bad because I don't have an updated insurance card.
Sidenote: for the last three years I've presented this card at countless doctors' offices and hospitals and NOT ONE receptionist or billing professional has mentioned ANY issue with my card.
I'm standing there getting trash-talked to my face by this elderly woman, after I've worked a 10-hour, overnight shift. The reason I'm at Urgent Care is because around 4am, I felt heat around my calf area on both legs and when I looked at them, they were TWICE their normal size, red and splotchy, hot and painful to the touch. (Symptoms of life-threatening blood clot.) It is NOW 1 pm and in my head I was trying to overlook this mistreatment just so I could see a doctor and get the word from them that I'm fine and can go back to work that night, because as a single parent I can't afford to miss work. Unfortunately, I do not allow people to disrespect me, so I as politely as I could, through gritted teeth, I asked her to hand me my drivers license because I would rather die than PAY this company who very obviously doesn't hold customer or patient service in high regard if this is the face of their office.
PS* I am still alive and do not have a blood clot. It was a reaction to a new medication I had started taking.

I have an autistic son who needs to have blood tests ordered by his psychiatrist, whose office is in Alexandria. My son has significant difficulty with long-distance travel, so his doctor recommended that I find a facility closer to home where he could have his lab work done.
Fast Pace in Leesville advertises this service on its website. I called them three days ago, and they confirmed that they could perform the lab tests. For the past two days, I have been calling repeatedly to check whether they had received the faxed lab order from my son’s doctor. The doctor’s office has confirmed that they sent the order twice.
Today, when I called again, a member of the team told me that they do not accept lab orders from outside physicians.
This clinic serves a small community with very limited healthcare services. They have lost a patient who has good private health insurance and, more importantly, a special medical condition that requires understanding, accommodation, and access to care.

I visited FastPace Health on Spring Hill, TN. The staff was wonderful. The PA took time to ask and answer questions. A sample was taken to check for UTI, showed signs of infection, antibiotics prescribed, sent out for further culture to make sure it was the correct antibiotic. Was told they would call in 24-48 hours with results.
Sounds great BUT it is now 12 days later and no results. The first sample got messed up, all inquiries were automated with incorrect information. Finally had to go in and give another sample. It would be ready in 24-48 hours. It is now over 72 hours and no results.
It is obvious this is a business owned by a private equity firm.
I visited Facepace in Bossier
I visited Facepace in Bossier, LA for pre-employment laboratory work; however, they are now stating that no laboratory work is being conducted. I called twice, and the answering service disconnected the call. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, she claimed that the clinic was not responding regarding the lost blood. This situation is both unprofessional and unethical.

They forced me to go to school within ONE day of diagnosis with a CONTAGIOUS VIRUS that is mainly responsible for causing the COMMON COLD. ONE DAY AFTER DIAGNOSIS.this isn't okay at all, they refuse to recommend treatment and refuse to actually keep us out long enough to recover, do not go here.

This is for fast paced behavioral health I am even having a hard time trying to think and get my words out because of the negligence of a certain person I will not name who I trusted with my mental health and now I am in severe withdrawal and she didn't even care that I was following my eyes out and had the nerve to say that I was making progress whenever I couldn't even leave the house for 16 days and tricked me into switching medications well now I'm probably going to have to go to a detox center to get my medication stabilized and I have my brain damaged even more I can't even see the words on my phone right now because of the double vision but I'm not going to make let this make me a better person and heartless like that certain person and because I'm suffering big time I do not deserve this I do not abuse medication I never have and I never will this is not fair just please be careful if you use fast pace behavioral health well I can't speak for all of the providers but my primary care provider is amazing and I have to say the urgent Care location I go to has been wonderful and I have grown to have a great relationship with my doctor and mendy pevahouse thank you so much for responding to me when I called after me trying to call so many people all day long and me being scared to pieces afraid and I'm going to go into seizures and she gave me an advice of what to do and thank you so much I highly recommend her

out of life meds
I was refused scripts on meds until i see doctor even though i had appointment the following week
Refused medical treatment for asking a kid to be quite
I was refused medical treatment and asked to leave with a threat to call the police for asking a kid to be quite, who was sitting 6-7 chairs down singing out really loud. The parent was oblivious to the child’s behavior. Lady claiming to be ther reqional manager comes out of the back and says I have to leave and threatens to call the police. Iasked her why she just kept repeatingshe's the mother. So i left Really a low-class operation. I tried to comment of FB page but it appeared to me the commenting had been shut off due to all the bad reviews. I can’t help but wonder if this isn’t a pervasive problem.
Gross Negligence
I ended up in the emergency room due to gross negligence on behalf of Fast Pace Health.
Paid $155 for nothing
My Son tried to get his DOT physical. Provider asked for info from his physician, which he provided. She keep putting him off to finish the physical and he still doesn’t have the final copy.
The front desk was nice
The front desk was nice. But waited out front for 45 minutes even though a booked online. Arrived with 2 ahead of me. Than was pulled back and waited in room another 1 and 45 minutes. To sit and wait this was terrible. The physician choose who to go in to see I actually seen 2 people check in 45 minutes after me and was seen before me make it make sense. I'm just saying and was told they'll try to rush my refund. I will not STOP HERE WITH MY COMPLAINT FIRST VISIT AT URGENT CARE NEW TO ALABAMA.

I would give zero stars if that were an option. I manage a workers’ compensation program for a very large employer, and we have consistently had extremely poor experiences with every one of their locations we’ve worked with. The issues are numerous and recurring. As a result, we are removing them from all of our Tennessee panels for treating injured employees. Frankly, I would rather send employees to an emergency room than use this provider—that’s how bad the experience has been.
Smyrna Tennessee FPH.
I came in Smyrna Tennessee location. I asked if they took my uhc insurance card. The lady said yes we do. I paid my co pay, seen the doctor and left. I then recieve a bill for 245 dollars two months later.I was told then that they didn't take my insurance and I'd have to pay the bill. I tried to get this overturned, because this wasn't my fault. They wouldn't do it. So now,any opportunity I get I'm gonna tell everyone I know to stay away from Fast Pace health care.
The Worst Kind of Urgent Care: Money First, Patients Last
This urgent care is the definition of everything wrong with profit-driven medicine. The doctor I saw was careless and negligent—she didn’t even bother to properly document my visit or the plan we discussed. She told me directly that if I wasn’t better in a few days, I should call and she’d send in a prescription. Simple enough, right? Except when I did exactly what she told me, the note “wasn’t in my chart,” and suddenly no one could help me. Their solution? For me to come back in and hand over another co-pay/coinsurance for the exact same diagnosis that hasn’t changed.
This isn’t healthcare, it’s a money grab. They had the chance to do the right thing—acknowledge the doctor’s mistake, honor what was said, and actually help a patient in need. Instead, they chose to hide behind missing documentation and force me back through their doors so they could squeeze more money out of me.
Patients come to urgent care because they need help quickly, not because they want to play billing games with a clinic that clearly puts profit above people. The disregard for patient care, accountability, and basic integrity here is appalling. If you want to be treated like a walking ATM instead of a human being, by all means, go here. If you actually care about your health, go anywhere else.
Horrible Billing Department who makes unauthorized charges to debit card they keep on file (fraud?); if you have BlueCross Insurance, check with them 1st, as they deny claims
The billing department will keep me from going back to this place. I had to pay an initial $75 for a visit and apparently my BlueCross did cover any of the visit nor did they reduce the bill, I learned after speaking with a Fast Pace representative (I still have not seen a bill or an EOB). I told the billing dept to not charge my debit card that they had on file for me, as I wanted to pay the additional $250 on another card, but they charged my card anyway, unauthorized. My bank could not stop the charge. Fast Pace billing has now called my cell phone 4 times this morning while I was at work, wanting another $6.88. This billing department has an absolutely crazy person in charge who is making fraudulent charges. I left a message for them to delete the card they have on file for me and to delete my account entirely, as I will never visit this place again. This is the location in Siloam Springs, AR.

I gave Fast Pace a second chance after a poor experience. I don’t recommend that you do the same. I recommend you seek out an alternative urgent care or go see your PCP.
Questionable billing
Brought teenage son for visit. He seemed to have a stomach virus, throwing up non-stop for hours. First of all, we made an appointment online and still sat for over an hour past the appt time before being seen. The nurse was very nice, but the provider seemed disinterested. I had to ask for nausea medicine to be prescribed. He has 2 insurance coverages-both BCBS. Now a month and half later, they have charged the card they kept on file for $250 with no explanation, no notice. We have NEVER been charged more than $30 for any doctor visit or urgent care visit with our insurance coverages.
My husband was looking for medical…
My husband was looking for medical help. 1: The nurse was rude. 2: Once we left the facility they stated they sent over the prescription. When we went to pick up the prescription the pharmacy stated they never received anything. So, my husband called facepace and was told that the pharmacy was "overbooked". Pretty sure that pharmacies won't use "overbooked". Maybe backed up with filling prescription. Which is understandable. It seems that the staff at Fast-pace lied. 3: there was no discharge papers. 4: not sure why the health card was declined but at the pharmacy it was approved. Will never go back there.
