Bought a years subscription for my fiancee. They cancelled after 4 months due to the discontinuation of glossybox in Ireland. They stated in the email they will issue my refund once the final box has been dispatched from them.... This was a few weeks ago and no money received. There customer service is shocking they are just ignoring my simple question as to when the money will be returned to me. In the multiple emails I have had with them trying to get this answer they just keep saying the same thing " refund will be given when the final box is dispatched" even though she already has received it. It's like they don't understand English or maybe it's some AI I'm trying to get a straight answer from. It's like talking to a wall. Do not give this company your money.

I subscribed to get the December box and now seem to be stuck in a never ending subscription. To cancel you'll have to jump through hoops and no way to stop the transactions. Products are mediocre and full of rubbish chemicals.

Impossible to unsubscribe, I am still trying to since November 2025. Sent notifications, all received confirmation of my wishes to unsubscribe,and still getting no further forward and monthly charges and deliveries

Glossybox Item in box arrived broken. Refused to replace offered £5 credit. Paid £2.99 to return the box and still not received my refund. Worst customer service

The boxes arrived and contained the expected items. However, it is not possible to cancel your subscription on the website. The company has an incorrect telephone number on their website, and their email address does not exist. You will need to resort to calling your bank in order to block future transactions. It strikes me as an interesting business strategy to deliver on the promised goods month after month, but to resort to being a "scammy" business when your customers wish to leave.

It’s all rubbish no named brands just cheap items you would never purchase cheap lip glosses everything cheap I had a product the said not to be sold separately- I want to cancel but I can’t another 9 months of rubbish - no excitement when it arrives please read the reviews before signing up I would of rather bought my Normal products for the price I’m paying for a year absolute rubbish the reviews speak for them selfs - don’t bother cheap and boring products nothing us skin care enthusiast would bother buying - I got a gosh eye liner in brown who uses gosh maybe when i was 16

First visit student did extensions and nail art. Really well done as my nails ere not inthe best condition for her to work on, second time the owner did my nails without extensions. Both times I was very impressed and will go back

There was a problem with one of the products in the January box and I was resigned, incorrectly, to taking it on the chin. A quick message to customer service however resulted in a replacement with samples being despatched the next day. Excellent customer service experience, very happy customer.

Make it impossible to cancel. There is no cancel subscription or stop auto-renew..Whatever you do do not take out a subscription from this company

I ordered a one-month Glossybox in October and received it with no indication anywhere in my account that an ongoing subscription was active. In November they charged me again unexpectedly. I contacted them immediately and was told they couldn’t cancel that month’s box but that my subscription had been cancelled and I would not be charged again.
Fast forward to December — they charged me again and sent yet another box, despite their written confirmation that my subscription had been cancelled in November. When I reached out, they responded as if I were only now trying to cancel, completely ignoring the fact that they had already confirmed cancellation weeks earlier.
This is incredibly frustrating and feels misleading. Being repeatedly charged after confirmed cancellation is unacceptable, and now I am having to chase a refund for something that should never have happened.
Would not recommend based on this experience. Wish I could give zero stars

9Ive been a customer of glossybox for nearly 3yrs. Ive had a few minor issues but it was always sorted. Recently I had been unable to login in so I tried changing my password (even though i knew my password) nothing worked so I messaged them on Facebook and was told my account had been disabled because of data protection information provided has not met their security. What a load of utter nonsense. I haven't done anything wrong. I spend a fair bit and enjoy filling in the reviews for items purchased for credits. How they can cancel someone's account for doing nothing wrong is beyond me. They have treated a me appallingly and ive recently in the last 3 months have purchased the advent calendar. The Christmas box and the monthly subscription boxes. Just horrific how they have treated me. I feel so upset. Please make sure that any credits you have are used up and cancel your subscriptions.
EDIT: Ive since had another reply to my response on Facebook messenger saying that Glossybox investigation team decision is final and they will not be re in stating my account. Shocking!

I sent messages in September, prior to the end of my subscription to cancel my subscription. GUess what - they've taken money out of my account and renewed my subscription. Without my permission after I told them I wanted to cancel. Its disgusting. I ahve messaged the customer service team only to be told tough shit, ive been renewed for another year. Ive cancelled my payment details, delted my card and raised a dispute with my bank. You can take me to court if you want but I wont be paying for something that I told you I didnt want!!!!!!!!!!!! LIVID

The worst company I’ve ever dealt with !!! On a month rolling subscription which stated I could cancel but try and find a way to cancel on their awful website it’s like looking for unicorns I’m so frustrated! When I did get a message it was to try and convince me to sign up for longer arrrr just let me CANCEL!! I was ripped off £15 over the calendar offer and promised a refund that never came and now I’m stuck with a subscription I can’t cancel with tiny products I do not want

EDITED - Liam has reached out and sorted this for me with providing a credit to purchase the palette from their website (17.99 credit provided , item is 10, 2.99 delivery, 5 gesture of goodwill).
Very happy to speak to a human and get a swift resolution. Will keep my subscription.
Left off one star as I feel they either need to get a better AI customer service or get rid of it all together! Then it'll be 5.

I know when a company is using AI bots, not that they'll admit it! But it's plainly obvious with the lack of compassion and asking the same questions over and over again.
I signed up on the 3rd September and since then seen advertised for the "September box" an eyeshadow palette id like. I messaged support as I didn't receive this and was told it was an offer from the 16th only.
Misleading and unfair , it was said to be for September box.
I asked to cancel as I didn't find this fair, and was given an offer of the box for £1.50 less... Told them it isn't about the money it's the principle of what has happened and they then asked me again why I was cancelling!! All the names of the so called support are made up as well, make no sense the names.
For the record my enquiry number is 691492971.
I just wanted the deal honoured , not like it's sign up in October box deal!
Poor lack of human customer service.
To top it off I'm being told I have to take October's box. If that's the case the box will be unopened and I will return for a refund, going to cost them more in the long run than just cancelling like I have asked.

Awful, I signed up for 1 month and they are saying I signed up for 12 months which I absolutely would never do. They refuse to cancel.
Avoid like the plague.
Have cancelled all future payments as I paid via paypal.

If I could give zero stars I would. As per everyone else, it's not at all clear that this auto renews and trying to cancel is almost impossible. Products are hit and miss at best. Avoid like the plague!

They are scammers, I paid for one month subscription which they renewed automatically and now there is no option to cancel. So far no reply from the costumer service. Products are absolute garbage. Never regretted anything more than my decision to try their box!! Stay away!

Terrible scam, impossible to cancel, customer service not helpful. Cheap bad quality products no one wants. Keeps charging my card, total fraud!
Upd: their generic response to my review here is a total nonsense. I had to cancel my bank card because of them! DO NOT USE THEM!

Absolute garbage. Supposed to be a June box and a free February box and £35 worth of Gruum products. Received 2 x June boxes. No other stuff. Trying to cancel subscription which is proving very difficult. Avoid. My first foray with subscriptions like this and it’ll be my last !
