I don't see how a transcription service can be any better. so far everything has worked exactly as advertised, prices are reasonable, and transcriptions so far have been very accurate. Love the website interface. A huge time saver for me - I'll be using them a lot more in the future!

Excellent transcription of technical matter
I had GMR transcribe a 20-minute interview talking about high-tech microchip engineering topics, which used a fair deal of industry jargon. The resulting transcription was fabulous - no need to correct anything, all grammar was perfect (perhaps even better than the original - I did request grammar correction)... I highly recommend this service.

GMR Transcription did a fabulous job transcribing my podcast episode. Now I just need to get on the ball and record the podcast sooner so the transcription can be available the same day as the episode comes out :)

Efficient, quality service, cost-effective
I am a grad student doing qualitative research requiring multiple focus group and interview transcripts. Having transcribed several interviews myself, I came to GMR looking to lighten my workload. My experience with GMR was excellent. the quality of the transcripts was great, the prices were reasonable, and the turn-around was true to the order specification. I will be back when I do my next qualitative study.

Couldn't be more impressed.
I sent 8 chapters of the interviews for a book. The interviews were done in two days. They were not punctuated by me, just very rough.
They came back from GMR with proper punctuation, sentencing, and paragraphs. Quotation marks were correct. Ums and ahs gone.
GMR's performance was far better than my highest expectation!!!

GMR - a great company to work with
One is never 100% sure when buying web-based services for the first time from a company. In this case there was always a human element involved. The reps from the company were always available. They were very professional, and retrieved information about my project quickly. GMR is a great company to work with and I highly recommend them.

I really appreciated your quick work on transcribing my interviews.
The only complaint is that I sent in my order just before that I went on holiday break and I was required to pay for the service while I was on vacation.
I would have appreciated the chance to deal with payment until after the holiday break. I did, however, appreciate your quick service.

Fast turnaround and accurate work.
First time using them. My regular transcriptionist couldn't take on more work. I was on deadline. I chose the 3-5 day turnaround time with 13 transcripts of 90 minute focus groups. I'm very pleased with the files. The only thing I'd do different is not choose the verbatim option. Took me forever to strip out all the ums, uhs, [coughs], [sneezes], you knows, etc. Priced very well. I'd use them again.
