We send this company recordings that are online and ask them to transcribe them for our deaf students. Often we want one day service. They always deliver timely, well done transcripts at a reasonable price.

They provided excellent customer service when I was in a pinch and needed quick transcriptions done.
GMR was able to keep in touch and provide tech support to me during a time I needed several "rush" transcriptions done. Without their help (over a weekend of all times) my company wouldn't have been able to catch up on the mountain of work we had accumulated. The transcripts delivered were accurate and ready to be turned into soundbite scripts.

Great most of the time but not always perfect
Generally speaking, the service is accurate and reliable. However, I have experienced several instances where words or phrases were completely left out. Sometimes statements that are perfectly clear on the recording are transcribed incorrectly or marked as "inaudible." This is disappointing and makes me feel the need to re-check each transcript. Luckily this is not the case on the majority of the transcripts, but still frustrating.

Uneven but timely
I was very happy to get the transcriptions I requested back on the front side of the standard 3-5 day turnaround. It was apparent that the three transcriptions were done by three different individuals with different strengths ranging from near perfect word-for-word transcripts to close-but-requires-further-editing before presentation. All in all, GMR saved me a lot of time and did a good job.

excellent and accurate service
Our research audio files required both transcription and translation. Having used other transcription/translation services that were not accurate, I was skeptical about all translation services. After the first translations were received from GMR, I had them independently checked and found that they were very accurate. In addition, the staff have been extremely responsive and professional and the turn around time has been excellent. I would highly recommend GMR transcription services.

Sufficient
GMR was a good service. The challenge was their transcripts that used both languages. Also, if sending more than one transcript, expect them to come back in different formats. I've had some that include people's names - to indicate who spoke when. I've had others where it was just interviewer and interviewee.
One transcript I had a challenge with was one that was split - because there were 2 languages. They were 2 different transcripts - one had time stamps the other didn't - so when thinking about how to put them back together, I had a hard time - until I listen to the recording.

A trusted resource for us
GMR has always been very reliable and easy to work with. Turnarounds have been timely, usually faster than anticipated, accuracy is always 95% plus.
Spanish translations have been excellent also. Have been using GMR for 4 years now, never had any reason to consider anyone else.

Amanda Tarney did a great job.
There were a number of problems with 2 voice recordings I submitted for transcription. They were difficult audio. However, Amanda was super professional, and the finished transcripts were 98% accurate, despite all of the background noise on both recordings.
I will recommend GMR to everybody.

Great job; it saved us much time so we could concentrate on our business.
Our sales manager could audibly speak his full presentation and we will turn that into a sales training tool for all new sales hires. There ability to capture text and then refine into training documentation is wonderful.

Resolved my issue in no time
I realized my credit card was double charged for a transcript and Vanessa Almodovar was awesome! She was responsive, assured me that she'd look into it and keep me up to date throughout the 2 days it took to remove the charge. I find it rare that companies are willing to take the time to be proactive about where your issue stands and I'm thrilled that GMR was willing to go that extra mile. I was completely satisfied from quote to finish!
I would recommend GMR to anyone needing a transcription. They were very helpful from the moment I emailed them through the whole process. They answered my questions right away. I had emailed 3 companies for a quote and GMR called back first and were the most helpful. Their quote was the easiest to understand also. I will definately use them again.

To say I was impressed, would be an understatement. GMR is the best!

Best transcription company out of dozens we've ever worked with!
GMR offers quick turnaround times with high quality and affordable price. They are very catering to our needs and, in general, a pleasure to work with. Very responsive. Very reliable. Wouldn't recommend anyone else to handle transcription work!

So glad I chose GMR over the rest!
After calling a few companies to get quotes, it was clear that GMR was the best choice. They were the only people who seemed knowledgable and helpful. They were not the cheapest, but when it came to this project, I could not cheap out. The cheaper companies, did not impress and the rate of $1 per minute seemed like they must use a software or overseas transcriptionists.
I'm glad I went with my gut and used GMR. The transcripts were right on and I plan to continue to use them.
