Bought this tea as soon as I got home from my holiday as this one of the many teas being served at breakfast in the hotel I was staying at. I thoroughly enjoyed this and still do as, in my opinion, the tea is very refreshing and has a lovely taste. Will definitely purchase again.

I have liked polish chocolate for a while. Wanted to try some different flavours so looked on Google for suppliers. Found this company offering great choice at reasonable prices so decided to give them a try. Service is excellent, quality first class, and packaging also excellent. A great transaction all round.

Delivery was very prompt and the sizing gave good value for money, however, the seasoning had obviously not been stored correctly as the bottom half of the seasoning was damp and thus not dry, as it should have been.

I’m confused, I bought Dilmah Premium Celylon tea but it tastes exactly like my M&S English Breakfast tea - does no tea company make true Ceylon tea anymore? That crisp clean taste that doesn’t leave a bitter taste in your mouth? I recognise this is not a shortcoming of the company but unfortunately I did buy it from them so they are ultimately accountable for stocking an item that is not as it states it is. Dilmah states that they don’t use blends but this tastes exactly like a blend?

I have also knocked off a star because the decaf tea box, although or perhaps because wrapped all around with stiff brown paper, arrived very smashed and I had to discard it (I usually don’t decant into a container because they retain their freshness and smell in the box, but these teabags don’t have that lovely ceylon tea smell anyway). The inner packaging is nicely robust thankfully.

Although the service was quick, the product I bought (14 in total), had a sell by date of 5/11/23, just one month! As such, I would have expected the seller to ask me whether I still wanted to purchase the product in that quantity, or state on their website the sell by date and offer it at a reduced price.

Since my initial review, I was contacted by Good Food Company on 13/10/23. They apologised for the short sell by date on the products I bought and they have refunded 50% of the cost. I really appreciate their action and I believe they will inform their staff to check the sell by dates before posting in future. Thank you Good Food Company.
