Great product, good price, excellent service

Yesterday (30th August) we visited the Ipswich store, this was mainly to have a look around the store. However as with most camping trips to the shops you find something shiny you feel you should purchase, on this trip I found some walking shoes which looked rather nice, to honest I did need a new pair. After choosing a couple of pairs I asked one of the assistants if they had size eights, he was very polite and popped off to see what he could find! He very quickly returned with the shoes, whilst I was trying them on he was very chatty, I then saw another pair I liked which got for me. My partner then turned up and she then chose another pair which Rory got for me, during all this time he very attentive and discussed each pair. With his help and my partners I chose a pair, strange that partner had chosen the most expensive! Anyway, thank you Rory, and the assistant on the till plus another guy who was very helpful in the ladies clothing area. A good shopping experience, albeit a bit expensive for me, but also some very good discounts as always in Go Outdoors.

Rory was extremely helpful when buying walking boots for my husband and myself. He was happy to fetch several sizes/styles and gave us advice on the different makes. We came away happy with our our purchases

Denise was incredibly helpful when I was choosing my trainers. She was kind, patient and very knowledgeable, taking the time to help me find the right pair. Excellent customer service—thank you, Denise!

I came here about a month maybe 2 ago and got helped by Rory helped me and a friend find some good hiking shoes and back packs for us. Very hard worker and great service.

Buying new walking boots from a huge range can be a bit complex, but Ashley made it really easy. He's a very experienced walker and climber so his advice on what's important is excellent. Great service.

Exceptionally impressed with Rory, who was managing a busy floor on his own but took the time to help me choose the right trail shoes. He gave excellent advice and was happy to go-back and forth to the store on my many requests for size changes, brand and model options. Joined as a member as I will be back!

Once again staff at the Ipswich store were brilliant.
My card had lapsed by a day or two, and Matt on the tills made the process of renewal quick seamless and straight forward, meaning I can continue to make purchases at great discounted prices.

Great customer service, Celeste and Roxie super helpful and polite, quickly won over my grumpy toddler while I was trying on new trainers and kept him well entertained, also price matched for me to a competitor.

I placed an order on the 1st of August to be told it would take 3-5 working days, I rang the Ipswich store on 7th of August to be told it was still in the lorry, the reason I ordered it early is because my son was go travelling on Wednesday 12th August, I was told I could purchase a bag, today is now 13th August, I am Still waiting for an email/ phone call regarding the bag, so I ended up buying another bag for my son on Sunday on 8th August, so now it results in me being out of pocket by £55, that’s £25 on the bag I ordered on 1st August & £ 30 for the bag on Sunday 8th August, it might not sound a lot of money to most people, but when you are on a budget, I’ve had no communication whatsoever from Go Outdoors, as a big company you were quick enough to take my money, but your not quick enough to deliver my product or even return my money,
I certainly won’t be shopping here again & I certainly won’t be recommending your company to anyone

Great experience at Go Outdoors in Ipswich just now. I only needed some tent pegs. First a member of staff directed me to where they were; then at the checkout Matt went on to explain the savings if I become a member. Glad I did. Left the store happy.

The staff were extremely helpful and informative. An absolutely stress free shopping trip.
