Andy A. Lots of choice for ladies jackets, but we needed some help narrowing down the multiple styles. Andy provided that help, not pushy but listened to what we were saying and found us the solution we needed. Result. Thanks Andy.

I originally ordered an 8-man tent with an advertised delivery time of 3–5 days. Unfortunately, it never arrived, causing my family to miss a planned camping trip.
The Evri tracking never worked, and I spent over a week chasing the order. I received conflicting information about my refund, and despite being told it had been processed, it never reached my bank account. Customer Care did eventually agree to honour my original purchase price, but the proposed solution wasn't practical as I needed the tent before another camping trip.
Everything changed when I visited the Poole store. The staff and manager were outstanding. They were professional, friendly, approachable and genuinely took the time to listen. They understood the situation straight away, treated me with respect and focused on finding a practical solution rather than simply quoting policy. Thanks to their help, I was able to leave the store with the tent I needed in time for my family's trip.
The reason this review is 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 is entirely because of the Poole store team. They delivered the level of customer service I had been hoping for from the beginning and turned what had been a very frustrating experience into a positive ending.
Thank you to everyone at the Poole store—you were a credit to GO Outdoors. I only wish the same level of service had been provided by the online Customer Care team from the start.

Rebecca at the branch in Poole was incredibly helpful, so was an elderly gentleman who told me he usually works in the fishing section but couldn’t do enough to help me find what I needed. Fantastic, lovely staff - thank you.

Today we went to the Poole store to find some walking shoes for my son. Haleema was very knowledgeable and advised us about the best shoe for my son's flat feet. She took time to explain and made us feel valued as customers. We will certainly be back.

Haleema was great. She was dealing with three customers at once, but all of us felt we had her personal attention. She was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful.

While boots were not a good fit the manager at the Poole branch refunded me without question.

Very good customer service. Staff were very polite and friendly especially the manager Quinn who helped us out with a fridge freezer for our camping trip

I needed help and advice and Marcus was absolutely fantastic !
Nothing was too much trouble and totally professional.
Marcus is an absolute credit to the company! We will certainly be coming back!

Been shopping around for decent walking sandals - you go into this store and it is like a breath of fresh air. The choice is very good and the prices are sensible. Haleema was so patient and helpful. Certainly improved my day.

We received expert advice from Peter on footwear resulting in the purchase of an excellent pair of walking boots. His manner, knowledge and anecdotes were particularly brilliant and great to meet such a professional. In addition, Quin advised us on various camping stove options and went the “extra mile”in determining our specific need in relation to our caravan. He was thoroughly knowledgeable and had an encyclopaedic grasp of his products without being overwhelming or over-selling. Yet another true professional. Well done GO Outdoors Poole - your staff are excellent!

Saleswoman Haleeman was attentive, friendly and helpful and gave me good advice when I was buying walking boots.
Rebecca was also friendly and patient when serving me at the till.

Good selection of walking sandals, very helpful lady, bought sandals for a very reasonable price.

Whilst buying sandals in Go Outdoors, Poole branch yesterday I was impressed with the extensive range and competitive prices. The staff were most helpful in particular Haleema who I found very pleasant and attentive

I have given our visit on 12th and returning on the 13th of July, 5 stars. This is due to what we needed being in stock, but mainly to due to the helpfulness of the staff. Particularly the lady Rebecca on the till who served us. Nothing was too much and she went over and above trying to help us. Even directing us to the bus station and the buses as we were out of our area. Great store.
