During a very difficult time for our family, the team at Kemnal Park made the whole experience as comforting and stress-free as possible. The cemetery itself is beautifully maintained, peaceful and calming, and the service was thoughtfully arranged, with every little detail taken care of.

A very special thank you to Lesley, who has been absolutely wonderful throughout. From patiently showing us around and helping us find the perfect Living Memorial Garden plot, to guiding us through all the arrangements and paperwork, she has shown such genuine kindness, care and understanding. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her patience and reassurance meant so much to us.

We are truly grateful to Lesley and the entire Kemnal Park team for making such a difficult time a little easier. We couldn't have wished for a more caring and professional team.

My mother in law passed away on October 6th. We had purchased her burial plot back in 2015. We had not been back to Green Acres Epping since then. However we now needed to plan her funeral.
We drove down to Epping and met with LIsa at reception. Lisa was very friendly, helpful and professional. She answered all our questions with patience and assurity. She guided us down to the double plot that would be for my mother in law and in the future my father in law. Nothing was too much trouble, She put us very much at our ease at a highly stressful time.
On the day of the funeral evrything was as prepared as promised. There was teas and coffees in the waiting room before we moved across to the prayer hall. The prayer hall is a beautiful round building the front area of which is glass which gives you beautiful views out to the green mature forest and abundance of birds squirrels and a peacock that live out there.
The service ran smoothly and slickly. Music was played and heard clearly with one song ending exactly at the same time as the montage of photographs.
Everything at Green Acres Epping is done in a highly professional, caring and sympathetic way. They help make a very difficult day pass as well and stress free as possible.

Although their room for refreshments had already been booked out so we could not use it, Lisa took the time to give us recommendations of other venues that could hold the reception for us. This was very much appreciated.

We would highly recommend Green Acres Epping for anyone thinking about a green burial. They will do their very best to accomodate all of your wishes.

The main footpaths are pretty damaged so difficult for people with mobility problems, and completely inaccessible in some parts for wheelchairs. The gravel in the car park and footpaths is very deep, again inaccessible for people who are wheelchair users. Otherwise a really beautiful place xx

We have just held a memorial service at Heatherley Park in Hampshire for my husband. The setting is so beautiful.
We were blessed with amazing weather and had the doors open throughout the service. Jo and the team could not have been more helpful. Our celebration concluded with a near 10 minute Musical and Photo tribute which was managed to perfection. I really cannot recommend enough.

We held my Mum's funeral at Chiltern Park - and it was a wonderful experience - total unhurried, we had the place to ourselves and the setting is peaceful and calm. Plus the provision of a "meeting room" where we had access to tea/coffee or cold water before and after, was much appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to other families.
However, I had to drop a star due to the huge fee GreenAcres wanted to charge just to scatter my Mum's ashes on site - I was totally shocked as it seemed so out of proportion. Such a shame as it is such a lovely setting, but we ended up making alternative arrangements, plus it leaves a slightly bitter taste in the mouth after what had been such a positive experience.

This originally was a 1star review, following an issue with maintenance of my wife's plot.
However I am happy to report they have been in touch and responded appropriately to the situation.
Only fair that i provide, an accurate, and up to date review.

My mother and father in law were laid to rest at Heatherley Park under a Chestnut tree, which is what they wanted, peaceful and in nature. Every time we visited the staff were, without question the kindest and most compassionate people. I recently laid my husband to rest near his mum as a sentinal looking across to them. The arrangements were made without fuss and were exactly what we wanted. You can have a big traditional service in the chapel or do what your family want. I am beyond grateful to Ness, Jo and Kieron for their help, support and kindness. We as a family found the joy.

The staff at Greenacres were extremely helpful informing me of the many options available the communication was clear they showed me around the grounds and the spot I am to be interned. I would like to thank Sue and Chloe who took great care of my choices and made me feel welcome. The grounds are beautiful and if you want a service there is a little chapel on site.
If you're looking for a burial site I would thoroughly recommend Greenacres at Colney Woods.

Greenacres Living Memorial Park at Colney is exactly where my mum would have wanted her ashes spread. It’s a calm, quiet and beautifully maintained park, surrounded by woodland and animal life is noticeable.

Chloe has been exceptionally helpful in arranging mum’s ashes to be spread in a perfect place.

All the staff were very helpful, in a direct and compassionate way, and it seemed that nothing was too much trouble.
The hall is a lovely setting to celebrate a persons life.

The most woodland Beautiful setting, a deer watched the ceremony . staff are compassionate and caring.

It is a very good place and very frendly staff and the staff is very mindfull of the people when they but the ashes in the ground and at the frunels and it brillant there.

We had my mum's funeral in Colney Park and the calm of the venue, with its sweeping views of woodland, along with a wonderful service arranged by Gordon Barber of Eaton, made it the special and memorable occasion we - and mum - wanted.

A few weeks later we chose a special plot in the memorial garden for mum's ashes, where she is now surrounded by nature and flora.

Huge thanks to Chloe and her team at Colney Park, along with Louise at Gordon Barber, Eaton for each going the extra mile to make the whole process personal, compassionate and professional.

The venue was beautiful and peaceful, and it was such a wonderfully appropriate place to bid my mother farewell.

GreenAcres - Epping Branch was the venue for the Thanksgiving Service & Ashes Interment for my wife. The park is a wonderful place, the staff were very caring and sympathetic at all times. I cannot imagine anywhere better for my wife's ashes to reside.

From the moment we visited Greenacres Rainford Park we knew that it was the perfect place to hold a Celebration of Life service for my late husband . Set in beautiful woodland we were overwhelmed by the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings.
The staff were so kind and accommodating showing us around before we booked the venue .
On the day of the service there were around 150+ people but they were all fitted both inside and outside the building, with the huge patio doors opened so it felt like my husband was completely surrounded by all those that loved him !
It was the most beautiful service in the most perfect grounds .

GreenAcres is a beautiful natural burial park and provided the perfect final resting place for both our mum and dad. The peaceful woodland setting made the day feel calm, personal and very special.

Chloe and Sue were both incredibly kind, compassionate and supportive throughout. They made what could have been a very difficult occasion feel relaxed, dignified and truly memorable.

It is comforting to know that we have such a beautiful, tranquil place where we can visit to remember Mum and Dad, reflect, and spend time surrounded by nature. We are very grateful for the care and kindness shown to our family.
