No response from customer service…
No response from customer service support. My friend gave me one of their products a while back and I found it excellent quality so wanted to order some more. Most products appear to be out of stock on the website. I asked for clarification around this and have heard nothing. If the business has folded it would be great to have some transparency around that. Makes me think it’s a one or two people band who are currently away or something or lost momentum with the business but can’t be bothered to tell their customers. Obviously it’s going to make me shop elsewhere.

This company does fantastic products…
This company does fantastic products the only thing in the last 12-18 months is the customer service. Products are often out of stock not available and when you use the chat you will get a non commitment yes we are hoping to restock. No indication if it’s a short or long term problem or if you will be notified when the restock happens. Often I end up going elsewhere. It’s a shame as when first started the customer service was an intrinsic part of their service.

After much research, this product came up as best value for quality. It helped that this time there was a discount for a double order but, having bought it before, that had no bearing on whether I went ahead with the purchase. Buy with confidence.

Fantastic value and choice

I'm a holistic masseuse using…
I'm a holistic masseuse using aromatherapy and I also offer CBD massage, so was very excited to try the Green Stem CBD Massage oil with Lavender, Jasmine & Sandalwood. I looked at the ingredients when it arrived and to my horror learnt it does not contain any real essential oils! Just fragrance and linalool/limonene. It smells awful, like a cheap perfume and there's no way I would use this. It's a shame as the carrier oil content looks great and I would assume the CBD component is functional.
Thanks for your reply, I know that Linalool and Limonene are naturally occuring consituents of essential oils - but it is not the whole oil and can be produced via chemical synthesis, which it often is when used cosmetically.
There is a compromise on benefits, as Sandalwood and Jasmine offer far more than the nourishing aspect of vitamin E - Jasmine for example positively infulences the central nervous system and takes effect on many physiological factors such as alertness, blood pressure, breath rate, heart rate and body temperature (I did include a link here to a white paper but the review doesn't allow it) Jojoba, as lovely as it is does not do this.
One final point is that you have put real Jasmine oil in your hand cream - hence why I thought there would be real Jasmine in your massage oil. The fragrance you have opted for instead is ghastly. I would recommend using real oils like you safely do in your other products. Good luck!

Many of the great benefits of essential oils such as sandalwood, jasmine and lavender come from the natural antioxidants found in these substances, for example vitamin E. You will find that Jojoba and Sweet Almond oil we use in the massage oil are also great sources of these substances, so you do not have to compromise on the benefits you receive from our product.
Furthermore, the use of essential oils (especially Jasmine, Lavender and Sandalwood) is restricted in cosmetic products due to their potential to cause allergic reactions. By using fragrance alternatives to these, we provide a much safer and pleasant experience for all with much less risk of skin irritation. Please refer to the IFRA website for more information on this (https://ifrafragrance.org/safe-use/introduction).
You will also find that linalool and limonene are naturally present (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6767019/) in essential oils such as lavender, and in fact not only provide that signature fragrance but also have some mild antibacterial properties as well.

Brilliant! First time order after being let down by a well known high street store, when my order failed to arrive! I love the Green Stem products the packaging is lovely and the variety of products with different strengths is great. I ordered wild strawberry flavour oil and the hand cream. Website checkout smooth and was updated about my delivery which was very quick! I will definitely be ordering again.
