The whole process from initial quote to installation was stress free. Consultant was very knowledgeable and helpful with regards to the design and changed it a few times to ensure i had what I wanted. The fitter was extremely polite, courteous, neat and tidy and didn’t leave until gone 8pm on the 2nd day to make sure the job was done on schedule. Highly recommend and would use again.

An update on my wardrobe problems that have been going on since December I have had the repair done and he decided to not screw in all the screws and left them lose on the rail, please stay away from hammonds the after care is a disgrace I have lost so many days work now getting work done where I have to have repeated due to it not being done properly. This has been so stressful now being told I need to wait to the end of July. Was meant to have a phone call Monday and instead got a £200 compensation. All I want is what I paid for a working wardrobe.

Awful. No contact. No action. No replies.

The designer Heather) delivery (Nick) & fitter (Sedrick) were brilliant.
Customer service is not so great. I received an email stating that I would get a call to be notified when the goods would be delivered. No phone call from customer service re the time or date! I only knew & hoped that it would all arrive before the fitting date.

Out of the blue, I had a call from the delivery (8 am) driver 15 minutes before he was due to arrive. Good thing I was near home & could meet him there.

The fitter - Sedrick - called me the night before & confirmed the time he was arriving. He turned up on time, worked so hard & was very professional throughout the time at our home.

The final product - bookshelves & cupboards does look amazing. Shame that customer service lets the company down.

Poor backroom process management, but terrific fitter (Dan) and good quality product.
Lots of confusion / disagreement between designer and surveyor re room preparation requirements, whether we could have a backboard in one wardrobe. On fitting day a door was missing. Hammonds failed to keep us informed about any follow-up, didn't apologise until we complained, etc.
Then once the door had been located, Dan came out on a SUNDAY and fitted it!

Fantastic job fitting our wardrobes by a true professional, Paul Giles. Two bedrooms fitted perfectly and we are really looking forward to the other rooms being completed to the same standard soon. It's obvious when you are dealing with people who take pride in their work and want to deliver quality and value.

After inviting Hammonds to create a design for our bedroom wardrobe in a difficult space from one of there designers we proceeded with an order of nearly £3000. BIG mistake as when the fitter (who is a sub contractor and was very good) fitted the design the main hanging area was not fit for purpose to be used as a double height hanging area which caused me great distress especially as we had put trust and faith in there expertise. The fitter made an adjustment luckily that did allow me some hanging space but not as per the design Hammonds created.

Following the installation we have contacted Hammonds customer service department several times to raise a complaint about the poor design that was not fit for purpose and not getting what we paid for. After speaking to 3 different people and explaining our complaint we seem to be no further forward with any resolution or compensation to this issue, actually Hammonds do not seem to think it’s an issue. So disappointed with Hammonds from the design and the poor customer care they have provided us. My advice is shop around and don’t rely on a named company like Hammonds to be professional, honest and offer a great customer service after the installation.

From the salesman to the fitting team everything was smooth. The designer was honest with us .the fitting man Was so nice and friendly. He worked extra hard to finish on time. In all Hammond team delivered on time.

Doug was a fantastic designer. Very quickly understood our requirements and talked us through possible layouts, styles and finishes. Once he had collected all the info he needed he produced a great-looking design that met all our requirements.

Great workmanship. Looks really nice and sturdy. Definitely use again.

Denise was very professional, caring, polite and respectful. Denise gave me information about the company and explained everything very clearly and easy to understand, she also showed me some samples, that gave me an understanding of the quality of the product, which gave me great reassurance. l was shown what the outcome would be, by computer graphics
The price was also a great surprise. l did not feel pressurised at any point during the design visit.
