Our fitter Neil was extremely professional and courteous and did an excellent job in fitting our wardrobes.

I chose Hammonds on the recommendation of a friend but particularly because their units came complete with backs. Day 1 and my installer informed me that the sliding door units do not. Could have been v. disappointing. But no. Hammonds did not quibble but took responsibilty. Thank you Wojciech for fitting the required complete units, on time within the two days. Great job, lovely units, and, left spotless.

From start to finish, it was an excellent experience getting fitted Wardrobes from Hammonds. We have quite a small space in which we wanted to maximise the amount of storage that we could get which we have achieved with Hammonds.
The price was expensive but reasonable for what it allows us to do, with a fairly short lead time.
The fitter we got was excellent, polite, tidy, and efficient. Having completed the install much faster than we anticipated!
Although we will never need to get more fitted wardrobes again, we would highly reccomend Hammonds.

Excellent communication from start to finish. Beautiful wardrobes professionally and expertly installed. All my precise requirements were fulfilled. Am an extremely satisfied and happy customer.

There are however a couple of minor problems which I've drawn to their notice and am waiting for a swift resolution.

From the first contact with Hammonds we have been nothing but impressed! Everything has gone smoothly and was easy to use and understand. Our fitter was outstanding and the finished product looks amazing! We are so pleased.

Everything went smoothly, from our design visit through to the surveys and then installation. Everyone who came to the house was polite, pleasant and efficient. The understairs cupboards and the wardrobe seem at this early stage to be exactly what we wanted.

So impressed with our fitter, Alex. He did a fantastic job - worked really hard and extremely professional. Really pleased with the results.

Everyone involved has been great , the initial consultation, the surveyor and the fitter was excellent . We are very pleased with our wardrobes and love the colour. My one point of contention is with the designs on offer. We have a small house with high ceilings, there was no real solution as to how to access and use the very top space. The doors come in a standard size, whereas we would have like doors that reached our ceiling to maximise storage. We thought it was bespoke service? What we do have we are happy with and is of excellent quality

I have had a media wall installed by Hammonds, however at no point did they tell me that they would need to place 20 brackets on the media wall, which are VERY visible and take away from the whole media wall itself. If I knew this, I would not have gone ahead with the purchase.
I am very upset as I have raised my complaint with Hammonds and they said they will not do anything.
Even after speaking to various customer service agents from Hammonds who agreed that this was not right and they would not be happy with the finish. I also went into Hammonds showroom and asked if this was correct, and was told that this was not normal practice. I personally feel Hammonds have made an error and do not wish to rectify it.

These brackets are also shown on NONE of the media walls which have been posted on there Instagram. So please do check beforehand, as otherwise you could be in for a shock like me.

I also feel that when I raised these concerns with customer service, I kept getting passed around the office with different excuses. I asked if someone could personally come out and see the finish after I have just spent 7k on this media wall, however they declined.
The care advisor who I spoke to was particularly rude on the phone also. Would not recommend!!

The work was carried out in a tidy orderly manner and the couple of issues around curtain poles and height of shelves were discussed and agreed. Very pleased with the wardrobes and drawers. My only comment not to do with fitter was they expect you to remove bed from room and when on your own thats not possible. The fitter was very good and just moved it to one side so he could work

From first meeting to fitment, everything was perfect

We had a good experience with Jim on the scoping of the project. Discussed what wanted to do in each phase and agreed to start with pantry, laundry and a closed in the door entrance. The design looked nice to us and we moved forward.

The surveyor took the measurements but seems to have made a mistake on one of the shelves of the laundry as the installed noted a discrepancy in measurements, and for that a new order for that part was made.

The installation of laundry and pantry went well besides that part that was too shallow for the intentions, but besides that the installer was very open about it and we ended up getting agreeing that we need to just wait for a replacement part that does not affect the functionality of the laundry - expected in a few days.

The parts were all delivered plastified and without any damages which was very good to know compared to other experiences.

Waiting on the final piece which is the entrance closet for a final review and classification.

Great from start to finish answered any question quickly. Fitting was very smooth and very professional. Love my bedroom

I gave four stars. This is because I received quite negative feedback from the original survey, which did cause some concerns. However this was addressed on a further visit and rectified.

We just had my daughter’s wardrobe fitted in the loft. It looks well fitted and practical. The entire experience from meeting with the start to installation has been fine except for some delay caused by some confusion between the designer and surveyor. The pricing could be more competitive. We are particularly impressed with the fitter Zoltan who was very professional and competent. He was proactively engaging with us and adjusting the specifications to meet our needs.

I was nervous about the installation day, thinking of all that mess that would be left behind for me to deal with, but it was nothing like that. Everything was cleared out and the waste collection arranged. Work area was vacuumed and things were dusted off. Brilliant service and hassle free. Strongly recommend

The worst installation work and service I have ever received

They tell you the installation will take a certain amount of time, but it will be longer. We were told 1.5 days for a home office, and it wasn't that. Our installer said that his tools had broken (which is why he couldn't finish), but just shrugged when I suggested getting some different ones. He then said he wasn't around for two weeks to finish. Eventually we got a replacement sooner, who left a huge mess, and then told me somebody would be along to clear it up. On the day, nobody showed up. Customer service are polite enough, but because all the workers are contractors, they all just blame each other and there's no accountability for mistakes. The product is high-quality but I wouldn't use them again.
