They don't know the laws for starting an Australian business. After going through the ID verification process they then require business registration documents...You do not need to register a business to be a sole trader in Australia. Know the rules! I will stick with Stripe and PayPal.

Prompt, Personal Service in solving technical issues
Recently, I made a urgent request to solve an issue on my HitPay payment gateway on my website.
Truly appreciate the very prompt, personal and patient correspondence I had with the team. The issue was solved and what I truly appreciate was their patience in guiding me to find out the issue. We got scammed by this company, Be careful on this one. After they have approved our company and was able to received a $7,931.00 Payment suddenly they have rejected our account. Lock our login!
They took the money and never pay us. Be careful on this one they are scam!!!!!!

Hitpay is Scam, They will first let you charge then run with all balance.
I recently had a very unsatisfactory experience with Hitpay. Without any prior notice, my account was abruptly closed, and my login details were disabled. This not only inconvenienced me but also left me feeling frustrated and bewildered.
I had $795 in my account which was lost, Nobody is available to answer or refund it to me. There was not even a single complaint on my account and before signing up I read all the T&Cs thoroughly to make sure my business type existed in their eligibility list. They are just cooning in the name of Merchant Services, They are Fraud as they conned my $795.
I strongly caution businesses and individuals against using HitPay for their payment processing needs. Our unfortunate experience highlights a concerning disregard for customer relationships and financial obligations.
In light of this negative encounter, we are actively seeking alternative payment processing solutions that prioritize transparency, communication, and accountability.

Unjustified Account Closure and Withholding of Funds by HitPay
I am writing this review to express my profound dissatisfaction with the services provided by HitPay. Recently, our company's merchant account with HitPay was abruptly closed without any valid explanation or warning.
Without any valid reason provided, HitPay arbitrarily and abruptly closed our company's merchant account. This unilateral decision has had severe consequences, with the outstanding amount of $2250 owed to us remaining unpaid. It is crucial to note that we had not encountered any disputes or chargebacks, making this closure entirely unexpected and unjustified.
The lack of communication, and transparency, and the abrupt termination of our account have left us in a state of considerable frustration and financial strain. This experience has demonstrated a severe lack of professionalism and responsibility on the part of HitPay.
I strongly caution businesses and individuals against using HitPay for their payment processing needs. Our unfortunate experience highlights a concerning disregard for customer relationships and financial obligations.

1.Hitpay first close payout, then close account, so you can't log in dashboard, and the money from transactions on my website (1.1-1.8) was taken away by Hitpay.
2.I contact compliance department, just reply me "Unfortunately, we are unable to onboard your business. Kindly visit our Acceptable Use Policy and/or Terms of Service for more details"
3.I contact support department, no reply yet
4.Then I search Hitpay in MAS and FIDREC, it doesn't in list, so MAS and FIDREC can't defend your rights

I am reposting this as a follow up reviews that will truly reveals what I have encountered.
Before I started to use hitpay, I have asked them about recurring payment as we are selling SAAS software. They assured and everything is in order until recently when the first recurring occurs, it fails.
I have contacted hitpay and they told me many people are fraud-ing their gateway and that they disabled many of the account (including ours). And to be fair, we have zero complaint from users. Not sure how they assess or they simply hack care.
Mind you, this is not a game of child-play where you simply do what you want without informing customers. Then they went on to want all the business accounts information which has already been shared during their initial verification.
That aside, I felt so silly to save that 1.5% transaction and use their gateway instead of using stripe directly.
This is my experience and all of what I mentioned can be verified with records of communication.
Use at your own discernment.

The payout is not smooth
The payout is not smooth, as they don't tell you and they don't ask you if you are a new business owners, please fill these options, new business owners yes or no, other requirements too, as they are not issuing our payout which we require urgently to make the payment to agents through which we made the payment of the travel tickets. This is worse experience I have ever had, the email reply is very slow to us. We are waiting and anxiety is increasing as the payment is around NZD 2620 dollars, and its a big amount, they took the amount but suspended our account without saying that they required this and this for the account. Suspended our account and kept the money with them with no clarification on this. I have talked to the CEO too on the email but no reply from him yet received. This is ridiculous and spending time chasing this payment. Kindly release our payment as provided everything you wanted which is not required by other payment gateway service providers. I don't know why you are leaving us like this with no reply at all. If any penalty incurred or cancellation done by the Airline, we will straight pass it on to you along with harassment charges. This is really a bad experience for us. Never happened with stripe payment gateway or Poli pay. The process was so simple. Kindly advise what you are doing with our payout? Regards Raviudai Sabrol.

Great affordable portable device
I do pop ups for my brand and with Hitpay, it has helped me close deals that I would not have been able to do so without a portable POS. The price was also affordable for its size. Its a fuss free process to set up the prices and items and perform transactions. However, I noticed Hitpay often make updates and there happened one time that the update took a very long time while a customer was waiting. Another time,it just got disconnected from my phone and it did not work despite turning my phone's bluetooth on and off. I had to forget the device and reconnect to pair the Hitpay wisepad with my phone again for it to work. Luckily, both times the customers were willing to wait so I did not lose the sales.
Tip: Make sure you check that the hitpay is turned off, paired properly with no updates before you start.

Great device to have if you are in small business without hefy maintenance charge
As a pop up vendor where at times, we have customers who prefers to pay by credit cards, having Hitpay is a saviour! It is so easy and convenient to use. The device is small and convenient to carry around and all you need is bluetooth to connect. And payout is also fast, usually within a week. I don't have to worry about losing sales due to no credit card payment available for customers. And also there is no monthly maintenance fee too.

I had a transaction with them and got my account suspended for further review. I tried to contact them but no response. I can't get a refund nor request to release the payment, its been days since I contacted them, got an automatic email saying they will get back to me within 1 business day.. still waiting
