I have spent a lot of money on The Craft Store and I have to ring them regularly about parcels that haven’t turned up. All they do is email the supplier or the courier and when I ring for updates I am told that they are waiting for a reply
When I have said can you contact them again I have been told no because that would start the process from the beginning
Their delivery times are generally really long. When I rang today to say please cancel my membership because of outstanding problems the agent very nicelycancelled it without asking if he could help or details about the problems. There are plenty of small craft companies in the U.K. and I will use them in the future

ordered 2 crochet kits and was sent what looked like 2 ex-demonstration kits with no original packaging,damaged book and missing item.Customer services unhelpful and did not ring me back as promised.Only refunded for kit and not the expensive postage as I requested.No apology for sending substandard items at full retail cost.I will not be ordering from this company anymore.

Tried to order fabric on the website from one of the shows. The order wouldn't go through but Hochanda/Craft Store took out 3 lots of the payment immediately, so £198 ! I have no product and am having the big hassle of trying to get a refund. What a shambles. My first time of shopping with them and what a complete and utter disappointment. Will stick to Create and Craft as I've never had problems there.

Never buy from this company they seems to sell only substandard products. When informed of the fault with the product they sent me, it was met with sarcasm and an appalling lack of empathy from the woman on the phone the young girl passed me to saying it was the director. I did go back again after the first order I placed was faulty thinking that was a one off, I found to my expense I was foolish to think this. It clearly wasn’t a one off this is a rubbish company selling rubbish.

One of the worst companies I've experienced.
I ordered on the 7th March for 5/7 working day delivery which was not met and my wife missed out on her mother's day present.
After contacting them I was informed that was not dispatched, I never even got a reply from email.
My item finally arrived on the 20th March.

DONT BUY FROM THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY !

I object to Hochanda taking immediate payment for items on extended delivery. Why can't they ensure initial stocks are held in a UK warehouse/distribution depot when the product is first brought to air. For the presenter to announce a despatch date two or three weeks in advance with a glib comment along the lines of "that's not long to wait" is simply not acceptable. Why should I fund Hochanda's operation up-front?

As l am new to card making l look forward to going on your replay site, were l can review, learn and catch up with things that l need to follow up on. Over the last 6 weeks l have phoned and reported that the replay site is not working. Why is this? Why can this not be fixed? How much longer is this going to continue? I would like that the problem can be sorted out once and for all, but lm not holding my breath. I feel very upset that l seem to be stuck with out the information from your site. Please can you fix it, and keep it fixed.

Really good range of products available. Only downside is having to wait for delivery on a few items it takes much longer than stated. Customer service always helpful and resolve issues

I bought CC foiling press two years ago, I had problems from the start with over foiling and generally not giving me a good crafting experience. I was so frustrated I put it back n the box. In Nov 2019 I was diagnosed with breast cancer so have done very little crafting until now. Saw the foil press on Creat and craft this week and today decided to have another go. Tried my own dies ,cutting but foil not sticking. Over foiling. Have the extender plate but this was sticking in my Gemini. Thouroughly fed up have yet to make a card,!

I have been a member for two years and initially had problems with roughly only 10% of my orders. These were mainly due to badly damaged or poorly packed orders or delays in sending items out.
However in the past six months I have had problems with my membership which they have blamed on their computers. I have phoned several times and, despite promises, no return call. I have had money taken out of my account twice for the same month, I have been charged for postage when it should have been free. Despite phoning them and their promising to solve the problem, six months later I still have no membership and no reply to my latest complaint. I'm buying direct from suppliers where I can now.
I definitely would not rely on help from Hochanda customer service.

In my experience, customer service is reliably poor. I've had a number of issues during the 6 months or so that I've been buying from Hochanda. I certainly haven't been left with the feeling that customer care is important to the company, quite the reverse.

Awful delivery service. Told to wait till certain date then told to wait further. Still waiting. When you call customer service it may as well be recorded message. My first order and my last. Certain other craft channel got goods to me in 5 days. I think 4 pound to have something delivered over 3 weeks is a joke. My post is coming as normal except Hochanda.

All in all a positive experience had to contact customer services about 3 times had a response within 24hrs. Wrong item sent out on one occasion the correct item sent and NOT required to send wrong item back so to my advantage.
Deliveries can be slow but I know that so no big deal they are craft supplies hardly life n death items. The account section makes it very clear what has or hasnt yet been shipped and tells you est despatch from ordering, emails sent saying despatched with tracking no so can follow it, I pay £1 for hermes del as Post Office are terrible never leave if you aren't in. Hermes update and parcels always go to neighbour if i'm not in.
Good selection of smaller independant companies products unlike the other craft channel who seem to own half of their "suppliers".
Things can go wrong at times we do mail order at my work so I know but find people are very intolerant and always quick to complain not so quick to praise

They used to be okay but have deteriorated badly over the last few months. I have so many orders delayed that I have lost count. Complaints are not treated seriously and all u get are bland replies that rarely answer the point made. Latest one blamed the supplier but when I checked the suppliers own web site it showed all the products as being avilable for immediate delivery!! I wonder if they are delaying paying the supplier leading to the repeated delays. Such a pity as they used to be good but now are a major disappointmnt

Since writing my last review the company have got worse...I didn't think that was possible! I keep saying I won't place anymore orders but unfortunately I am addicted to craft products.
They take your money on the date of order and if you are lucky your order might arrive with 3 to 4 weeks! I could write pages and pages about very late deliveries...poor quality products...they have customers money in THEIR bank account for literally weeks I can quite honestly say in my lifetime (that is a very long time) I have NEVER known a company so terrible in all aspects of their business I am truly shocked they are still trading.....I can say if I have ten orders placed just ONE might arrive on my doorstep on time in perfect condition. I had to ring this week about FIVE orders yes FIVE I was on the brink of tears with frustration which eventually turned to anger. As I said at the beginning of this saga review I didn't think it could get worse and in all this time and all these problems and complaints NOT once have they offered me any type of compensation or a gift for my trouble. I mean it this time as soon as all my outstanding orders have arrived Hochanda and I are finished!!! I feel sorry for the staff on the end of the telephone line they must need valium when they get home from work and the last thing I have to say regarding this chaotic company is....I wonder how long it will be before the big name suppliers pull out ? When presented with photographic evidence from the couriers that they have misdelivered the item, Hochanda management instead of owning the problem and dispatching a replacement, merely insist that the couriers recover it!

Hochanda have recently increased their p&p cost to £3.95!! They say as a response to customers feedback on how poor their service is. What?? Everything STILL takes at least 2 weeks to arrive, so no improvement there, so where is the extra cost going?
I ordered a family game, beginning of Dec, to play on xmas day. No mention of the fact it wasnt to be sent out for 14-17 days!!! No way its gonna be here in time.
Their delivery service is ridiculous. Create n Craft n QVC are far far better, things arrive in about a week or less, and they are cheaper too.
Avoid Hochanda if you need something in a hurry.

I have been Hochanda since the beginning but things have gradually got worse. I know we have Covid problems but delivery is turning into a joke! Ordered on the 3rd and chased on the 16th to be told it ‘was dispatched’ On the 16th? Arrived today 17th. Not the first time though. Other companies seem to have a much faster delivery. I’m beginning to think Hochanda don’t actually have a warehouse but forward rather order to the manufacturer, hence the long delays. I like their presenters and products but this is getting very annoying.

Postage was expensive and it took ages for the items being dispatched

I ordered a book press. It was meant to come 4-7 days. It was late "due to unforseen circumstances" for 14 days. It was then apparently dispatched, except when I checked the tracking information it wasn't.
Then rather than trying to make good, by sending it more quickly the just set up the same 4-7 day order. It didn't up after 8 days. I complained, they seemed not to have a way of checking if it had been sent. I called time via paypal. They use Feefo to pretend they have good service. Feefo seems to be scam. I would avoid Hochanda and any company that use Feefo.
