The delivery guys were bang on time, very pleasant & extremely efficient and tidy in the set up of my dining room furniture, and took time to clean explain the care guide. I’m very impressed with the service and quality.

Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. Georgie at customer service was brilliant in helping me organise the assembly of the large dining table. The delivery drivers were incredible and so lovely. I'd definitely buy from them again and would highly recommend them!

Don’t order vouchers online!
Ordered two vouchers at the beginning of August as a 60th birthday gift. It is now the beginning of September and they still haven’t been delivered. Raised 3 times through the online chat but the response each time is ‘they’ve been sent’ and to keep waiting. I’m sure delivery is great on items like furniture but absolutely cannot recommend purchasing vouchers online due to the issues with delivery and this needs to be investigated as a matter of urgency.

The bar stool purchased was 'used'
The bar stool purchased was 'used'. I went to collect and they tried to make me accept a bar stool that was already made up (should have been boxed) the stool was damaged.
Because I wouldn't accept the options given were accept or wait 12 weeks ... (even when the website states 6weeks )

To clarify, the bar stool had previously been assembled for a cancelled order, but it was still new stock and had not been used by a customer. We appreciate that receiving an assembled item when you were expecting it to be boxed was not what you anticipated.
Unfortunately, the damage identified was different from the condition expected, and on this occasion our team did not have another stool available in stock to offer as an immediate replacement. We understand that being advised of a longer lead time was frustrating, particularly when the website showed a shorter delivery estimate, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Excellent shop but maybe use a different delivery courier
Absolutely great experience with this company ordering was easy they kept me fully updated on shipping.. the chairs came well packaged amd in perfect condition.. the only thing I’d say was I was expecting the housing unit to deliver my chairs then when I saw it was dpd it was a total let down he just plonked them at the bottom of my stairs that lead up to my house they were very heavy for a women to lift by herself and did nothing but moan about the weight of them.. not really my problem maybe dpd need to make large items a two man job? He just left them there was quite rude also with his attitude…

My son
My son, a single parent bringing up two teenage children, saved for a new stone dining table and chairs from Housing Units. He placed the order on 2 May and took delivery on 26 July.
Because of work commitments, holidays, and the need to sell his existing dining furniture, the new table was carefully stored, unopened and in its original packaging, in my garage.
Once his old table had been sold, we opened the packaging and discovered that the stone tabletop was split. We have photographs showing that the table remained in its original packaging while it was stored.
This damage could not have occurred while the table was in our possession. It must have happened either during transit from the manufacturer or while the table was in Housing Units’ warehouse.
We contacted Housing Units and expected them to offer a replacement. However, they refused, stating that the damage should have been reported within 48 hours of delivery. We explained that it was not possible to inspect the table immediately because it had to remain safely stored until the old table was sold and other commitments had been dealt with.
Despite our explanation, Housing Units have refused to replace the damaged table, even though the damage clearly occurred before it came into our possession.
This has been extremely disappointing, particularly given the circumstances and the fact that the table was purchased as a major household expense. Potential customers should be aware of the company’s approach to damaged goods and its strict 48-hour reporting policy.

Ordered a frying pan 4th August '26, item never arrived, emails sent back and forth with a Stephen Hall who refused to refund me, stopped replying to my emails and eventually I had to go to my bank to get the money back 28th August. No explanation, no apology, very poor service. Order reference 500325467
The reply from Housing Units is typical of their poor service and it suggests they will do the same again. They don't seem to appreciate that THE ITEM WAS NEVER DELIVERED so why should I have to go to my bank to get my money back?

Having looked into this matter, we can confirm that the frying pan was returned to Housing Units. As the item had not initially been received back with us, we were unable to process the refund until it was physically returned and received at our warehouse. We appreciate that this may have been frustrating, and we’re sorry if this was not clearly communicated to you.
We also apologise for the delay in communication and any frustration caused by the emails exchanged. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we will be reviewing what happened to ensure communication around returned orders is handled more effectively in future.
We’re pleased that the matter has now been resolved and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.

The company sent me a mattress full of stains and marks and to crown it all, the delivery company they used marched into my homw without boot covers despite asking the drivers politely to wear one, they said they did not have any and walked up my brand new carpets with my mattress staining the new carpets in my new home with theif dirty boots. Its unforgiveable!!!!!

We are sorry to hear that you remain unhappy with your delivery experience. We take concerns regarding the care of customers’ homes and the condition of products very seriously.
On the day of delivery, you contacted us regarding the delivery team not wearing overshoes. The delivery team spoke with you that same day, apologised for this and specifically asked whether there had been any dirt or damage to your new carpets. At that time, you confirmed that there had been no marks to the carpet. Had there been any issue, we would of course have asked for photographs and taken the appropriate steps to resolve it. We also spoke directly with the delivery team, who confirmed that there were no marks on the carpet following the delivery.
You subsequently contacted us regarding the condition of the mattress, which had been delivered fully wrapped, and reported some dust marks. We immediately discussed this with you and, the following day, you accepted a £150 refund to keep the mattress.
We are therefore disappointed to see the experience described in these terms, particularly the suggestion that you were left with stained carpets. This was not reported to us at the time and is contrary to the information provided to us when we contacted you following the delivery.
We are sorry that you remain dissatisfied, but hope this clarifies the circumstances and the steps we took to address your concerns.

New fire challenge
