And the plants are lovely ! I have an oxalis triangularis from them that is the most gorgeous shade of purple
Now I just need to try and keep them alive ...

This is a fabulous shop! I'm sure my blood pressure drops the minute I walk through the door and I'm surrounded by the greenery.
The owners are lovely and very knowledgeable and the plants are always in excellent condition. It's nice to buy plants that feel LOVED by their sellers, rather than simply being a commodity to sell on.

I bought a The Terrarium Course for my husband. It was brilliant. Loads of info before on what to expect and during including history, how to make it and aftercare. Everything provided. The course was informal but very informative and great fun. A great way to distress. As its held in The Undergrad refreshments and food available. A brilliant night well worth the money.

Popped into to the wonderful new store as I needed a few things and some advice. Lots of wonderful plants to choose from in all shapes and sizes. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Managed to pick up what I was I get some advice on caring for a plant at home.

Sadly I didnt have the best experience with hutch house plants, which is a great shame as they do look like a fabulous shop. I try to shop with independent shops and like trying new places. I ordered 2 plants, a silvery ann and a satin pothos on wed 6th, i spent over the required amount for free delivery (48 hours tracked), in hindsight I wish I checked if I could have paid to upgrade this but it was FREE which is always a bonus!!!! I received a email from hutch saying it had been shipped on the 7th but didn't receive a email from royal mail until the 8th saying the package was with them!! I was told to expect my parcel on the 9th. Yet it wasn't delivered until the 11th (5 days in transit). I emailed hutch to say the plants were in surprisingly good condition apart from all the new growth which was dead, so that was 5 vines in total. I didnt recieve a response from them.

Had it not been for the absolutely shocking delivery service the plants would have been spot on and I did say I would use them again but either upgrade my delivery or order early in the week (this would be my advice for anyone). But as the plant just yellows more and more I wish I requested a refund.

I receieved a response from hutch after this review had been posted!! Coincidence!!!!

The plant in question (satin pothos) died a week later, day by day more and more leaves yellowed. £18 down the drain.

Wouldnt by from again.

Love buying from HUTCH who are local to me and the quality is always perfect.

Needed to buy 24 easy care plants for an office space with a tight turnaround for delivery. Put a few things in my basket then emailed the store to get their expert opinion - they were really helpful in offering a few tweaks to my order based on stock levels and light levels in the space. Had them delivered to London and they arrived in perfect condition, really well wrapped and boxed so no messy soil everywhere when unwrapping - all in eco friendly packaging too.
Everyone was really impressed with the quality, value and service. Thank you Hutch!

Helpful when things didn't work quite right initially. Plants are lovely and great quality. Packaging all being recyclable and compostable is fab.
