The communication was really abysmal
The communication was really abysmal, I spent $1500 and received part of my order and when asking about the other item which showed it was fulfilled it was hard to get an accurate answer from them for the remaining item. I know the company selling the item is responsible for shipping but they could have communicated better within those 5 months that i was waiting.

Worst buying experience I have ever encountered. Lack of communication about shipping and when there was communication it was always inaccurate. Ordered multiple items and all shipped separately after the first shipment the entire order showed fulfilled and no way to track remaining items. Never again will I support anything on Indigogo

Review: Indiegogo and Kickstarter Enabling Fraudulent Activities
On both Indiegogo and Kickstarter, the same company is promoting the device "Nature EP" and the campaign is still ongoing:

Kickstarter: TapFresh – Extract Pure Drinking Water from the Air Effortlessly
Here is another project where backers are still waiting for proper responses and which has turned out to be a scam:
Indiegogo: FlameShip – 3D Electric Steam Fireplace
The company Nature EP collects money, provides no updates, and fails to fulfill its promises. There are various devices on both platforms that are clearly fakes of the same kind. Despite numerous warnings from hundreds of backers, neither Indiegogo nor Kickstarter take any action.
Indiegogo and Kickstarter are complicit in this fraud by ignoring the obvious signs and numerous complaints. We simultaneously call on Indiegogo and Kickstarter to get their act together, immediately review all campaigns, stop criminal activities, and refund the money.
Attention to everyone reading this: You only need to go to the campaigns on Kickstarter and Indiegogo and open the discussions there. You will see: Massive criminal activity is being supported. Write to the legitimate companies there, stating that you would like to buy their product but due to the fraudulent activities on Kickstarter and Indiegogo, and their failure to address them, it is not an option.
I strongly urge everyone to avoid these platforms and publicly expose these issues. In my case, there are three fraudulent campaigns, either ongoing or completed, with a bot responding to inquiries for the past six months. Indiegogo and Kickstarter dismiss complaints and warnings about criminal activities with a smile, offering no support to backers.
It is unacceptable that these platforms continue to allow fraudulent campaigns to run unchecked. Spread the word and protect yourself from these scams.

Beware of the scam platform!
I supported the Dune Case project in November 2019 and have still not received a delivery. It is now clear that the creator of the campaign, Alexander Gomez, has fled with the money. Indiegogo has not lifted a finger, has allowed the campaign to continue and has done nothing despite thousands of reports of fraud. All backer support is rejected and the money is gone. The reviews here on Trustpilot speak for themselves and Indiegogo just carries on.
Edit: Indiegogo contacted me after my review and offered to get in touch. Although they knew which campaign it was, further dialog was futile. In two reply emails it was pointed out that Indiegogo is doing a lot for trust and wants to make the platform safe, but no concrete actions followed. This means I still have a loss of $628 and Indiegogo has unilaterally ended the communication by writing to me that their last response is now final. I advise everyone to stay away from this platform!

Indiegogo rührt keinen Finger, hat die Kampagne weiter laufen lassen, und auch trotz tausendfacher Hinweise auf Betrug, nichts unternommen. Jegliche Unterstützung der Backer wird abgelehnt und das Geld ist weg. Die Bewertungen hier auf Trustpilot sprechen ja für sich und Indiegogo macht einfach weiter.
Edit: Indiegogo hat mich nach meiner Bewertung kontaktiert und mir angeboten Kontakt aufzunehmen. Obwohl zu wussten um welche Kampagne es sich handelt, war ein weiterer Dialog aussichtslos. In zwei Antwort-Emails wurde darauf hingewiesen, dass Indiegogo viel für das Vertrauen unternimmt und die Plattform sicher machen will, aber konkrete Handlungen folgten nicht. Das bedeutet, ich habe immer noch einen Verlust von $628 und Indiegogo hat die Kommunikation einseitig beendet, in dem sie mir geschrieben haben, dass ihr letzte Antwort nun endgültig sei. Ich rate jedem: Finger weg von dieser Plattform!

Indiegogo are fraudsters
Indiegogo are fraudsters, avoid them at all costs. They support fraudulent campaign owners even when the campaign owners breach Indiegogo's terms of service. They also don't respond to tickets when you ask for up-to-date contact details of campaign owners, they just close the support ticket instead.
Update: I tried contacting them again after the response, they just closed the ticket right away - No response at all.

Backers have lost money by supporting projects that never deliver, do not distribute the promised perks, or distribute defective or deficient perks. Indiegogo Illegal Tip Without Notice
Indiegogo uses dark patterns to add a tip for themselves to the order without telling the user. It is done below the fold on mobile so that users cannot see it directly when using checkout buttons. This is 100% illegal and the FTC should sue them, just like they did Adobe for the same types of behaviors.

I get scammed by company through this platform and when I contacted them they just told me the company is under investigation and “encouraged “ me to contact them again etc. When I sent to indiegogo support 45 screen shots of the company lying and scamming, ignoring texts, sending bot messages answering questions that I did not even asked they marked my Ticket as solved and did not answered. Then I made new ticket asking them why they ignored me and closed my ticked as solved one and I gave them ticket ID , they ignored and marked this one as solved too. They are really ignorant and not caring about customers and backers at all. Avoid this company if you still can. They support scammers and when you contact them they will ignore.

You're throwing your money away
Don't ever waste your money on an Indiegogo project. I've backed two and both were scams (over $300 lost). This was back in 2020-2021.
They release the money directly to the company and then the company just disappears. After exchanging emails with Indiegogo they merely say they take "action" against the company and all that essentially means is banning them against putting up another campaign. That's worthless because the company can just change its name and details and do it all again. Since Indiegogo takes a cut of the money, they don't really care to stop this issue. It benefits them.
When I backed the campaign I was trusting Indiegogo's reputation and thought they would make sure to honor the money invested. However, they do not. So just keep that in mind. You are likely throwing your money away if you back any campaign.

Eigentlich war ich früher vom Konzept begeistert Leute zu Unterstützen wie Sie ihre Unternehmen aufbauen und Ideen verwirklichen Wollen.
Aber nach dem was OasisMini auf deren Seite mit den Kunden abzieht geht mal überhaut nicht und Indiegogo sagt: Sorry wir sind nur die Plattform. Dein Pech wenn deine Kohle weg ist.
Folgendes Betrifft den OasisMini aus der Indiegogo Kampangne:
Sorry Leute, aber im Moment kommt ihr mir einfach wie Abzocker vor und ihr seid meiner Meinung nach auf dem besten Weg, den Ruf eures Unternehmens zu ruinieren!
Vor fast einem Jahr habe ich bei euch als Early Bird bestellt, weil ich es für eine tolle Idee hielt und euch beim Aufbau eures Unternehmens und eures Produkts unterstützen wollte.
Hin und wieder erhielt ich eine E-Mail, in der stand, dass es aus irgendeinem Grund eine Verzögerung gab. Hey, kein Problem, das ist cool für Start-ups. Dann kam endlich das Update, ich glaube, es war im März, in dem Ihr sagtet, Ihr hättet überall Kontakte geknüpft, um günstig für jeden aus Europa an Eure Kunden in Übersee zu liefern.
Jetzt nach fast 1 Jahr und mehreren Verzögerungen heißt es plötzlich: Hey, ihr bekommt euer Produkt endlich bald und ihr müsst nur 68 Dollar mit Versand und Steuer bezahlen, weil wir unsere Versprechen an unsere Unterstützer nicht einhalten konnten. Wuhooo Großartig oder?
Nein, tut mir leid, das ist weder schön noch akzeptabel. Nach einer so langen Wartezeit gesagt zu bekommen, hey, weil wir es nicht hinbekommen haben, zahlst du jetzt fast 60% drauf, ist einfach nur Abzocke und eine große Enttäuschung für mich.
Bitte lassen Sie mich wissen, wie ich mein Geld von euch zurückerstattet bekomme, denn was ihr hier versucht, ist einfach ein Schlag ins Gesicht all der Leute, die euch unterstützt haben!

Fraude en Indiegogo doet niets
Laatst heb ik meegedaan aan een crowdfunding (Funland speelkussens). Uiteraard ben ik op de hoogte van de risico's van een crowdfunding en zie ik het bedrag als een investering en niet als een bestelling. Ik heb er ook begrip voor als het bedrijf tegen problemen aanloopt en dat daardoor de voorspelde uitkomst minder is. Helaas bleek het bedrijf waar Indiegogo inmiddels ruim 1 miljoen dollar (!) heeft overgemaakt malafide en zijn ze van de aardbodem verdwenen.
Indiegogo zegt niets te kunnen doen. Onbegrijpelijk. Het platform propageert veiligheid en transparantie. Hier is niets van waar gebleken.
In de tems and conditions is de eerste voorwaarde voor een campagne dat je je uiterste best doen om tot een goed resultaat te komen en dat je de backers informeert.
Hier heb ik niets van gemerkt. Indiegogo zegt simpel: het geld is al uitgekeerd, wij kunnen niets doen. Wat is de overeenkomst tussen Indiegogo en de campagneleider dan waard? Dit vind ik echt belachelijk.

Continue offering fraudulent campaigns
The company continues to offer campaigns for which the tendering company practically no longer exists or responds.
Example: Linxtaar: Wi-Fi Mesh Router + 44TB Storage Capacity + Dual Bay HDD NAS + Media Server + VPN + Plex
The answer of Indiegogo shows, that they absolutely don't read the claims. THE CAPAIGNER DOES NO LONGER ANSWER!!! So it makes no sense to recommend again and again to contact the campaign owner. Instead, Indiegogo could take legal steps against them, because this behaviour is also an infringement of their terms.

Indiegogo actively lies and facilitates scams
Customer support never responds. I’ve even just asked for copies of their old terms of use and my tickets get shut down without comment. They have told me that I can pursue legal action against a campaign, but ignore my requests for material I need to do that.
Their response to my previous review was to say they couldn’t connect my post to my account. Odd, they could last time and I didn’t change anything. Told me to reach out to their customer support, and I did. Referred to my review. How did they respond? Shut down my ticket within one hour without comment. Ticket number is #1815537 Indiegogo, so don’t try to lie again and say you can’t find my account.
Unfortunately, their business model facilitates scams, and they don’t seem to do anything about it. I made the mistake of backing the “ALBERO: Ultra Silent 3-In-1 Nano Air Purifier” campaign, which has violated the terms of use multiple times (failing to provide updates, selling the product on their website without having fulfilled backer orders). I sent evidence of these violations, even the campaign admitting to selling the product elsewhere, and Indiegogo simply does not respond.
They profit from every scam on their platform, so I guess they don’t care.
Anyone who runs a campaign there probably is a scam. There’s no accountability; they protect scammers by not responding to requests for needed information to take legal action (after they recommend it) and simply facilitate fraud through their inaction.
Edit: Terrible. Their response still doesn’t acknowledge that they ignore my messages and aren’t sending me what I need.

Campaign owners are required by our Terms of Use to fulfill their perks or issue refunds to backers. At this point, funds for this campaign have already been disbursed to the campaign owner, so Indiegogo is unable to refund the contributions made by the backers. Due to evidence of unfulfillment of perks and unresponsiveness from the campaign owner, Indiegogo has conducted an investigation into this campaign. Please see our Community Guidelines for actions we may take on campaigns under investigation, up to and including restricting the campaign owner's future activities on Indiegogo.
When we receive feedback from our community, we have a protocol for investigating unfulfilled campaigns, which could include requesting demonstrative proof that the campaign owner has progressed towards fulfillment. Our protocol for enforcing unfulfilled campaigns could include any of the following based on the circumstances: banning campaign owners from launching new campaigns, sending campaign owners to collections, and reporting campaign owners to law enforcement officials if we suspect malintent.
Indiegogo was founded with the mission to allow any entrepreneur or creator to find funding for any idea. Like many companies, we’ve learned that platforms must play a bigger role in user protection. As such, we’ve taken a close look at how this landscape has changed and have a renewed commitment to Trust & Safety. Changes that reflect this commitment are already underway and more will be launched on the platform.
