I contributed to the "nuka ETERNAL…
I contributed to the "nuka ETERNAL STATIONERY" project on Indiegogo, but the project was abandoned after raising over €200,000. Despite numerous reports from backers, Indiegogo kept the campaign active without offering refunds, as outlined in their policies. A year ago, an investigation was initiated, but to this day there have been no developments. Backers continue to complain on the project discussion without receiving any support. Terrible experience, Indiegogo is awful.

Terrible Experience on Indiegogo
I had a horrible experience with Indiegogo. I placed two orders for different projects, and it has been nothing but a disaster. For the first order, I never received the product at all. As for the second one, I received a defective item.
To make matters worse, the companies behind these projects stopped responding to my messages, leaving me in the dark. No commitments were honored, and it feels like Indiegogo is just a middleman for scammers who don’t want to take any responsibility for what happens after the funding.
I will never use this platform again!

They allow scammers to start campaigns
I contributed $161 for Three-In-One Portable Washer & Dryer campaign and $62 of which was for shipping.The campaign owner completely disappeared with everyone's money with no communication whatsoever. Indiegogo refuses to take any responsibility after reaching out to them multiple times. They allow all these scammers without zero vetting for profit when they should protect the customers from fraud and ensure safe and trustable platform.
Even if product idea failed, why the hell am I loosing the $62 for SHIPPING?! That money was only supposed to be used for shipping, not their trashy product development. They even refuse to refund that shipping money. HORRIBLE COMPANY! STAY AWAY

Lasciate perdere, rischiate di non vedere nulla. Pagato per una campagna creata da GEEK e ora non spediscono e si inventano richieste assurde di pagamenti di spedizione da aggiungere, dove era dichiarato che erano comprese. Inoltre, moltissima gente si lamenta che non stanno spedendo nulla.
Nella precedente campagna, di altro venditore, invece, ho acqustato un oggetto che è arrivato dopo mesi, oggetto cinese che avrei pututo prendere su altre piattaforme e a meno prezzo. Oggetto che dopo pochi mesi, ha smesso di funzionare e ovviamente il venditore non risponde e Indiegogo se nel lava le mani. Come al solito, dove girano i soldi, girano anche i furbi.
RISPOSTA: Ma ci prendete in giro, vedete il mio nome e cognome e il contribution ID, come lo gestite il database, con i post-it?

Customer Support and in general a literal joke, protects scammer
So I backed a campaign back in 2021, with promised delivery in 2021.
I got 50% of what i ordered, but the set is in the purpose of which you bought the product kinda useless without the other 50%.
I am waiting on the other 50 % since 4 years, writing back and forth with the campaign owner but also the indiegogo support.
In the Meanwhile while thousand of backers still wait to receive anything or their complete promised set from the campaign. The owner opened an Onlineshop selling the product from the campaign with hundreds of in stock merchandise and that it will be delivered to you within 2-3 days.
Therefore absolutely scamming their backers. How can it be that someone has hundreds of merchandise in stock and not fullfilling their end of the contract.
I told Indiegogo about this and their response is just a joke, they could not care less, they just wanna protect their scammers. This was their response, with the hint that there will be no further reponse to that matter:

"As with any early-stage project, crowdfunding campaigns may take unexpected turns, which can include changes, delays or unforeseen challenges. While your contribution helps to bring something new closer to reality, there is always the risk that a project may end up falling through, and that the campaigner may not be able to deliver the perks they'd originally offered."
The Campaign is in NO EARLY Stage, they completed funding and manufacuring years ago and just dont ship cause they wanna sell their stock at a higher price in their shop instead fullfillung bakers perks. And again they are not not able to deliver , they just don´t want to, u can literally buy the product of their page right now. Also btw i am talking about the campaign foldeat. Also this isn´t a mere delay, It has been 4 years, and every time they tell you yeah your order is next.
I already told them I will take legal actions and file reports at the european and german instituions for consumer protection. At the beginning i was just reporting foldeat and their mother firms but now i am also filing charges against indiegogo for malicious practice

Only about 50% of products are delivered and Indiegog cannot be contacted or trusted to follow up on any fraudulent campaigns. Many just go silent and run. Recent examples are campaigns by Vinpok, Park & Diamond and EnerQi.

Do not use, very fraudulent.
I invested in Vezo 360 camera for about €300 which seemed believable and even endorsed by indieGoGo.
But it turned out that ArVizon Inc got 2 million Euro from 7k users and proceeded to fake ship the products with non-traceable shipping and the majority for the cameras never being delivered, "dissapeared"...
IndieGoGo chooses to still support ArVizon Inc.

I paid backing to 2 projects months ago and never will again
I paid backing to 2 projects. 1 I never heard from, other than a notice from Indiegog of it having received my money. And I never received the cheap promised perk. It took ages to hear from the other (Kneeflow massager). It took months to get my perk, a massager unit. It's defective and the manufacturer/sales company hasn't responded to my emails. In Idiegogo I tried to get in contact with the campaigner but all their system just sends you in circles telling you to go to the campaigner's campaign page but doesn't tell you how to get there!!! Beware, don't fall for their "great campaigns" and great customer service promises. HOGWASH!

The act of donating to the project was fine and smooth, no issues. I didn't expect to have my email account blasted with other campaigns by the same producers. Not all campaigns have done this but it has made me decide to avoid this particular producer in the future as they did pre - during and post campaigns with mixed signals for goals. I'd appreciate a more honest target for the fund raising and not to be auto blasted for future projects (one or two emails would have been fine)
