My aeroplane went AWOL !
I ordered 2 items pending the arrival of my 2 year old granddaughter to stay with me for several days. One of the items was the wrong item .The missing item was an aeroplane which I needed pretty urgently . The customer services department were very efficient at dealing with the problem and an aeroplane was dispatched post haste and arrived during my granddaughters stay with me. She was very excited to unpack it and play with it. Very pleasant to have such a positive outcome when dealing with a customer services department.

We ordered the chess and draughts set…
We ordered the chess and draughts set ,when item arrived 2 of the draughts pieces was missing .No phoned number to contact them ,you can only submit a email to customer services which takes days for them to reply to . Now 17 days later we still not received the replacement pieces and and another email saying they are very busy and will get back when they can . After care is one of the worst I have ever dealt with and will never order from them again .

What is the bag for?
I bought a magnetic travel chess & chequers set. The whole thing feels very sturdy, the pieces and the board all have a nice weight to them. But it came with a bag that is too small for the whole set to go in and too wide to fit inside the box with the chess pieces in. It seems odd that everything else is well designed and thought out but there is no bag to protect the box and no bag to store the pieces.

The included bag is designed to hold the chess and draughts pieces separately from the folded board. Alternatively, the pieces can also be stored within the folded board itself. That said, we do appreciate that this may not be the most convenient solution for every customer.

Beautiful wooden children’s toys
Ordering is very easy and delivery does not take long to arrive. When the parcel comes it is so beautifully wrapped you feel you don’t want to open it! When you do you find the most amazing wooden toys which my grandchildren absolutely love playing with. Their parents love them too, so it’s a win win as far as we are concerned. They also keep inventing new items, so there’s always something new to discover.

I recently ordered a Puzzle and the Happy Horse Stable from Jaques London and I’ve been genuinely impressed with both the quality and the charm of their products. The puzzle was beautifully made woth sturdy pieces, vibrant colors, and perfect for engaging young minds. The Happy Horse Stable was an absolute hit and so thoughtfully designed, with lovely details that really bring it to life. You can tell a lot of care went into crafting these toys.

It even has a handwritten note to say who has carefully packaged it for you.

The delivery company
The delivery company, Evri, did not deliver the package. They claimed that they came to our street but failed to drive along it to deliver it. I contacted Jaques about this and they said that they had sorted this and then I waited even more days and exactly the same thing happened. I don't believe that it will ever be delivered.
A few days later: Jacques was very good, sending the package again via a different courier and it has just arrived.

Premium Delivery is a waste of money
I am perfectly happy with the item that I bought. My review is based on the service I received. I paid for “Premium Delivery” via Parcelforce. I was given a delivery date and time, waited home but the parcel didn’t arrive. It did arrive the following day, after I had waited home for a second day. Whilst I appreciate that Jaques are not responsible for Parcelforces delay, they were unconcerned about the fact that I paid for premium delivery but received standard delivery nor that my time was wasted. I won’t shop here again.
