Bought a couple of times from here over a few years, always good service. This time Specialised 2FO shoes at a great price. Very comfy, haven’t used in anger yet as I’m still waiting for the new bike (from Saracen). Delivery was really quick even right after Christmas.

Just bought a new e-bike all the staff were so friendly and put me at ease as it’s a while since I had a bike. They were above and beyond getting it ready for the day after buying it. Then on collection I was shown how to use the bike so all in all can’t fault anything as they were helpful and honest from start to finish. So thank you, team.

Always have a good experience at J E James in Rotherham. But wanted to pass on my thanks to Nathan for sorting a warranty issue out so quickly. I dropped the bike in at 10am and by Midday the following day Nathan had already sourced and fitted upgraded parts to help prevent the same issues it’s my crank happening again. Great service as always.

Fast shipping, sadly however (and like alot of cycling places now) they advertise good deals but when you visit the website to order they dont have it in your required size, or they do but its not at the ‘sale’ price that you saw online. Had to return the shoes as they didnt fit, and that costs you money.

called on Tueday at the barnsley branch to have my gears indexed, I had tried and failed. The workshop guys were brilliant, found the fault(a sticking cable on a nearly new bike) A friendly chat and a cup of coffee, top service, highly recomend

Bought a Giant Reign 2022 for my son for Christmas using PayPal Credit & it went as smoothly as possible company kept me informed of every move with the bike & it arrived on time. No issues with the bike once out the box & put together so yeah very pleased with the service from JE :) happy to purchase again in the future

Fast delivery, easy to order online, and pay

I purchased an e-bike from the Barnsley store, and the customer service was excellent. The advisers were knowledgeable, attentive and keen to ensure I found the right bike to fit my requirements.
I highly recommend this company.

I placed a specific order, nothing complicated and on their site it said two to three days delivery time.
Over a week later I received a completely wrong order.
When I contacted them they refused to correct my order or refund me.
The attitude on the phone call was belligerent and very unhelpful.
I will not be using them again.

I visited the Chesterfield store as I was interested in getting a Liv E Bike. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I ended up buying a bike that day as I felt they gave honest advice regarding the bike itself and what type of lock was best (which wasn't the most expensive). No hard up-selling, which always puts me off. Sadly, I can't remember the names of the two staff members who helped me, but they were father and son. The bike was delivered on the day I asked for, and I got a phone call prior to check that they had the right delivery day. I would certainly use them again.

Bought 2 bikes from the rotherham store in last 3 weeks for me and my wife. Having been away from mtbs for best part of 15 years was amazed how things had moved on. On both occasions was given plenty of information to go and research and make my own mind up without feeling pressured. (Young lad served us forgot his name think he was out the workshop) was brilliant.

Wife's bike was ready day it was meant to be, unfortunately there was a slight mix up with mine and the wrong colour was built (no big deal were all human and they couldn't apologise enough). Day after when correct colour was ready also recieved a little freebie for the inconvenience which was a really nice touch.

Both daughters are ready for new bikes now and there's no doubt where il be going. Thanks again. (Im not one for leaving reviews but when the service is good they deserve it)
