From the moment we contacted John Mason for an estimate to the final day of our removal, we have been blown away by the friendly, approachable, efficient and professional service we have received from the JM team!

To my pleasant surprise, the package was delivered exactly when expected. The delivery team promptly placed the 12 boxes on a cart, transported them via the elevator, and neatly arranged them in my apartment on the fourth floor. This service was highly appreciated.

We research various international moving companies and went with John Mason because their most recent reviews were very good.
A Zoom meeting was set up and we showed the amount of stuff that we needed to be shipped from UK to New Zealand.
The quote seemed quite reasonable.
Our main contact from this point was a guy named Chris Turton.
Chris was always happy to answer any questions we had as the date was set for our furniture to be collected over 18th and 19th November.
Two guys arrived at the agreed time (Steve and Paul) and worked extremely efficiently to get everything packed and loaded in good time.
We always felt reassured with this company and very satisfied with the service provided.

The service in UK was great, however in Sydney - not so much.

Kenny and Jude were amazing. They packed our stuff with care and diligence. Very organised and very little damage.

However, they partner with Allied here in Sydney and they were not as professional or caring. The Sydney Ops team was very unresponsive, and the removalist here only left all the boxes in the garage as opposed to in the required rooms or unpack the furniture and assemble the simple furniture. This was disappointing as it was written in the contract. I don't blame the removalist men for this, it was the office's responsibility to tell them what service I paid for. That said, they also said I had two months to claim insurance, when it is only one month (thankfully I checked again with the UK office!). This meant that they left me having to pay for a personal handyman, unpacking heavy furniture and moving my own boxes from the garage to the bedrooms.

I would give them three stars because of this - but giving them five because of the service in the UK (from quote, to Gill, Kenny and Jude).

My move from the UK to Australia was handled by John Mason International. It was a seamless experience. The managers in Liverpool were professional and knowledgeable experts. Communication was clear and responsive. The packers were efficient and careful. The Sydney handling company are well chosen too. I am pleased to recommend the company for your removal.

I shopped around A LOT before I went with John Mason for my move from the UK to Australia. However, they were by far the best/most reasonable priced and my gut felt right about them.

From all the initial contact to Chris then contacting me to sort out the finer details, I felt in safe hands. Chris was very kind, attentive, responsive (very important!) And ultimately, broke down the entire process for me, as it was all the unknown! For example, he helped advise me on when I should ship so that my container would be with me sooner on the other side, taking into account it needing to potentially be inspected to, explaining the process on the other end.

The actual removal guys were amazing! So friendly, efficient and really bloody good at their jobs! They wrapped everything up, nothing was too much trouble and they were in/out in no time.

I had tracking information so I knew where the shipment was and I took great comfort in that especially when I knew it was very close to Australia before we'd even left the UK! Fast forward us arriving, our container was only a few days behind us and we had it within 3 weeks.

Everything bar a few pictures frames arrived in one piece, everything else was as I last saw it. It was so lovely to be reunited with our belongings and personal items to make our new home, "home" again! The supply chain on the other end for us was "Allied" and again, couldn't fault them, they were exactly like John Mason - friendly, attentive and quick. They ever collected our boxes and rubbish once we unpacked and offered at delivery, to unpack which I personally wasn't fussed about.

If you're reading this unsure whether to choose John Mason or not then stop thinking and just do it. I researched so much, they're the cheapest and most reliable firm I've had the pleasure of dealing with.

Saw them on here and decided to go with them. I spoke to a lovely lady Michelle. She was very helpful with helping me get everything I needed to start the process. Then I spoke to Chris, he was amazing! He was very patient with me. Super quick to get my stuff moved over seas (UK to US) 90 day's and I had my stuff. Everything arrived in one piece and not a scratch on anything. Would 100% use them again if there was ever a need.

Thank you to the John Mason crew who were with us for 4 days packing to get us on our way to Canada. I observed very efficient planning and organisation each day in shifting our goods. They were quick! It certainly kept me motivated to keep up our end. Good communication along the way as well. We're in Canada now and our goods are enroute. The shipment arrived at the time promised, and the delivery persons loaded the 12 boxes onto a trolley and took it into the lift, then deposited the boxes inside my 4th floor flat, which was greatly appreciated.

All good were delivered safely from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with was very helpful.
