Parents fear traveling with young children because it’s terrifying to travel in a car with no car seats, unsecured car seats or the wrong car seats. Kidmoto provides a solution to a real problem with family airport car travel. Taxi’s and car services do not provide securely harnessed and installed car seats for children and therefore parents fear traveling with their small children. Good and bad
We pre booked our journeys to and from the airport well ahead of our travel to save stress.
When we arrived, our driver had already messaged us (an hour early)to say he was there and where to meet him. We messaged once through passport control and were on our way to the hotel about 20mins before our pick up time!
The car was big and clean, car seat as expected and our driver was lovely. We realised about 5minutes after he dropped us off that my son had left his favourite toy car in the car seat and contacted him. Within 30mins he’d driven back round and dropped it off at reception for us.
Outstanding service, we were very happy.
The trip back however was not as positive. The car never showed up. We called at pick up time to be told he’d forgotten and was 30mins away. Luckily we spoke to the hotel and they were able to arrange suitable alternative transport, although this took time, meaning we were running late, causing us a bit of stress at the airport. We let the driver know we had made alternative arrangements and he apologised. Despite letting him know we had left, we had a message to say he was at the hotel 40mins after the pick up time. Although he was apologetic, it certainly caused us a lot of stress.
Despite the excellent pick up on the way, we wouldn’t use again because of the let down going home.

Kidmoto were fantastic
Kidmoto were fantastic. After travelling from Australia with 2 kids under the age of 3 we were exhausted. They contacted us to let us know they were on time and we had the App so we could follow the drivers movements. Our drivers were extremely friendly and pointed out all the sights on the way into NYC. I will recommend them to anyone travelling with young kids to the New York.
