I love the process with Koru Kids! Everything has been easy and managable. The staff is really friendly and always ready to help you when you need! they answer fast and give fast solutions as well.

Koru Kids has made our lives so much easier! It took us less than two weeks to find our nanny; we interviewed 4 candidates, but from the moment we met her we knew she was the one!

She is super reliable (I don’t think she’s ever been late in the months she’s been with us), it’s just so reassuring knowing that every day we’ll get a message from her 5 minutes before pick up letting us know she’s already there waiting for our little one and what they’ll be up to.

We are also so confident that our son couldn’t be in better hands, we have seen him develop incredibly in the months she’s been looking after him and he really enjoys spending time with her. He’s made new friends in the playground and playgroups which he’s always talking about, he’s discovered new local places and activities which he really loves, and more importantly these are having a positive impact on his development. She started taking him to an arts and crafts workshop in the local library and we have noticed how he is now able to focus on a task for longer which was always a struggle as he’s just 4 and a very active little boy.
We are so lucky to have found her!

I was a bit hesitant to start koru kids after working in nurseries for so long and didn’t know what to expect. Koru kids are by far the best people to work for. The settling in process of working for your new family is so easy and informative and they really go above and beyond to help you understand what you should be expecting. Everything is done in a way that’s not confusing and very easy to understand without feeling overwhelmed with all the new information you need to know. The training process isn’t long and very simple as well as your dbs meeting it takes 5 minutes and is so easy to do. If there is an issue Koru kids are always there on hand to help you with anything you need. They supply you will actives and general knowledge on children’s needs and wants which can further help you once you find your family.

We’ve come to the end of our Koru Kids journey as our boys are now grown. The Nannies we’ve employed through them have all been exceptional. The company, app and care either virtually or on the phone have all been fantastic. It’s made navigating work and school aged children so much easier for us and we would highly recommend Koru Kids to anyone looking for before and after school care.

Never look back. I started working with Koru Kids as a nanny since 2019 and never look back. Why? They make it so difficult for me to go elsewhere!!! Their attention to details, constantly checking to ensure nanny and family is a good fit, allowing you to express yourself in private if you have any concerns, this makes it so easy to be the best nanny I can be.

Koru Kids have been very supportive, genuinely care about their nannies and the families the nannies work with. Over the years, they have given me directions and encouragement every step of the way as a Koru Kids nanny. I have been in my current nanny role for four weeks now and it is fantastic!

It really is a good organisation to work for. I have never worked as a nanny but have experience having children and grandchildren. Once the application is completed it really is smooth sailing. Koru Kids are excellent in guiding you through the process and answering any queries you may have. I secured my first job within a week of applying. If you are considering nannying, I recommend Koru Kids. Had I known about them sooner I would have applied sooner.

Whilst I was fortunate to match with a good nanny for a while, all the admin work, you being the employer despite paying a fee to set up, direct debit for the nanny fees regardless of if work was done or not, masking a perk as them organising the tax etc its just not worth it.

I wish I could get my fee back and just go online or put an ad in the newspaper or the school PTA and get a nanny that way. I know for sure I will never use this app again and after reciveing a letter today about opting my nanny into a pension scheme almost 4 months after she has left, I am infuriated.

From reading the reviews, Koru kids are charging the Nannys to sign up, charging the parents and they are nothing more than middle men.

The amount of care and attention that Koru has put into making this an amazing experience is so noticeable as you go through step by step - and made a huge difference to how easy it’s been to find our first after school nanny. Lots of people to interview, lots of useful tips, scheduling tools etc and then when we found the right person the contracting and onboarding has been so simple while also being thorough, and again, with loads of useful guidance. It’s made a hard task a whole lot easier!

Excellent support when I had any questions. Automated messaging flows were somewhat confusing but overall great experience

Tried to apply for this company but they kept rejecting my referees until I had none left. I gave them 5 but they rejected them except one. About 85% were within the requirement and guidelines. They would send e-mails asking if I need help and then send the same fustrating automated e-mail as a way of "helping" There is no one to talk to -which would be great as someone who is dyslexic. Not disability friendly at all. They say they are too busy to pick up the phone and talk to candidates. Nannies are literally the lifeblood of your company! Sending the same fustrating e-mails over and over again is only going to madden candidates. Telling them to do an unpaid admin task and then telling them to do it again without feedback as to why is insanity. Funnily, enough I've been accepted by an agency to do SEN work with only two of the five references I gave Koru Kids.
