Plant arrived dry and out of the pot. All foliage was broken off. I was willing to give it time as they said it would grow. It hasn’t! After going backwards and forwards with emails and requests for photos I have given up! Awful customer service. I would avoid

Plants arrived stressed with roots breaking off. Sent photo and was told to keep them inside and nurture them. Plants had not fully recovered 2 months later and 3 of the 10 plants were not fit to transfer to pond, one was dead. Sent further photo and was sent 3 more plants squeezed into a flat package. These plants are now floating on their side in pond and I have no idea whether they will properly recover before the summer is over. No after care instructions sent. No information prior to purchase that these are tender plants. Have spent time and effort trying to get plants into pond worthy condition, also time in correspondence with Lincs plants and despite paying full price for plants and carriage am likely to end up with plants which last only one season. Very disappointed.

I Would give zero stars if allowed.
PUNY potted pond plants in 3 litre containers would have fitted in 9cm plant pots. Water soldiers were just a pile of MUSH. Extremely RUDE & SARCASTIC customer service when I queried paying for express next day delivery & had to wait days for my plants. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID. Shop elsewhere.

Plants in transit for about 100 hours according to their e-mails, arrived in poor state; got in touch about this and was told I should have ordered them at the start of the week. Sensible thing to do would be to send them out at the start of the week, and to not blame the customer.

Lincolnshire Pond Plants are by far the worst company I have ever dealt with and they do not even deserve one star. I spent £50 with them and I may as well have flushed the money down the toilet. I ordered two pond lilies and pond weed, I received a dead bunch of weed and one pot full of soil (with no evidence of a plant & no instructions). There customer service is non existence, once they have your money they don't care if they have not fulfilled your whole order or if plants perish in transit. I never got a refund and I suggest you do not touch this company with a barge pole. Go to 'Plants for Ponds' or 'Pondkeeper' for pond plants, at least they care about their customers and supply quality pond plants.

Received my order of plants today. All were in excellent condition and had been very well packed in individual bags. Thank you Lincs Plants, I will be visiting again.

I've ordered several plants for my new little pond. They arrived promptly with instructions and have all grown well. My daughter is creating a small pond too and I've recommended her to buy plants from Lincsplants.

Dreadful company, they supply DEAD pond plants. They must think their customers are idiots to send out plants in such condition. Please for the sake of your ponds/gardens avoid this company and buy elsewhere! One left one star as can’t leave zero stars!! Sorry I can’t see how to leave photos or I would have!

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. I ordered £240 worth of plants - first order they sent me someone else's plants - with all of his contact details. I needed my plants for the specific day so this was a big inconvenience. They sent the correct plants out but wow the condition and size was shocking. They were sold as 1 litre plants - literally receive bags of jumbled up stalks with barely any roots. They have an 'argumentative customer service style'. Not at all professional. I was told I could keep the other customers order like it was a big deal - they were equally poor in condition and all invasive varieties that had to be thrown away. They want photos of everything - I think to put people off complaining. I did manage to get a return agreed in the end but after a lot of unpleasantness. I am very concerned about my contact information that will have been sent with my order to another customer! Overall issue is poor quality plants and lies told about the size they say they are!

Liars and thieves! Does it get worse? Not really.....

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Took over 3 weeks to receive the plants I ordered; all of which were a mess when arrived. The bulbs had rotted and all the leaves are black.
I found out that they were having a huge problem with the delivery company they were working with.
I spoke to the team and they sent out replacement plants in no time.
Sometimes things go wrong and that's a part of business and life; but they handled it well and rectified things. Thank you

Do not but from these guys. I purchased plants for my school pond out of my own money, and the state of the plants recieved is shocking. The whole stem of the water lily was totally snapped off from the base and Jan their customer service person has refused to refund or replace the item, stating it is perfectly healthy - even with pictures attached to the email. The floating watermoss was in about 50 pieces in the bag, and the state of the others wasn't much cop. I'm gutted, I spent £50 of my own money as the government don't give us budget for this kind of thing, and it was a total waste of time. The customer service has been awful, email ignored for days on end, I had to resend requesting a reply in the end, only to be told they were unwilling to do anything. Will be reporting as a breach of consumer rights, legally a refund or replacement should be offered for a faulty product. I would say a plant with a snapped stem is faulty.

The worst experience buying anything online that I've ever had!
Plants arrived squashed into a tiny box and broken up, almost dead on arrival (all died completely within 1 week of course). One plant I paid £7 for had only 1 brown leaf when it arrived. As soon as the plants arrived I requested to return for refund, seeing they were clearly dead, but customer service is criminally deceptive- I was constantly lied to/ gaslit and told the plants were fine and healthy, even after I sent pictures.

Got a pre potted Lilly from there after a week it floated to the top as it wasn't potted correctly. Thought Id give them the benefit of the doubt and order two more Lilly kits so I could pot them myself. One Lilly looks ok the other isn't so good. The floating weed is a joke. How they can charge you for scrag ends I don't know. Once bitten.

Had a terrible delivery of pond plants delivered. Sent 2 mails to complain but no reply. My best advice is NOT to order from this awful company.

Please don’t buy from these people. I’m not sure they actually exist? I ordered pond plants from them, which never arrived. They supposedly sent them via Amazon Shipping. I was told to check with neighbours, look in safe places etc. Amazon didn’t want to have anything to do with it. There was no photo of delivery taken. Lincs pond plants’ customer service was appalling. They were rude, didn’t answer the phone and took absolutely no responsibility. They are a scam and I would urge not to buy from them

Please do not use the company. They have horrendous customer service.
They sent my order with half of the plants missing. I called and was told to email pictures straight away and they would watch for the email coming though and get straight back to me the next day.
Three days later no response and I gave just called to see what is happening.
I have been met with we are very busy you have to wait.
When I questioned that this was a fault on their behalf and I had paid for plants I had not received, I was told we don't prioritise complaints or missing order items, you will have to wait.
When I asked to submit a complaint, I was told I could not, they do not have a complaints procedure.
So it seems Lincolnshire Pond Plants Ltd are very happy to take your money then brush you aside when you try to get it rectified.
It seems the ombudsman is my only way forward now sadly.

I have the same experience as Carol’s review just posted. I placed a large order on 7th April, notified on 8th to say it had been dispatched but no notification of Amazon receiving the order. I phoned twice, firstly was told that I would receive them Saturday 12th then when I phoned Saturday I was told that I would still receive them Saturday but contradicted herself by saying she didn’t know if the order had even been sent! She would find out and call me back. Of course no one called me back. They have taken my money and not sent the goods nor refunded my money. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

One plant arrived today, barely alive. 49 plants missing! No note to say any more plants to follow on.With no one answering the phone or replying to emails.
Please do not use this company , they are thieves.
After much perseverance most of my money was refunded.
I would never use this company again.

Placed an order for 4 plants only recieved 1 potted bagged plant, the rest of the plants were missing from the order the other 3 plants were not present in the box and marked as delivered. Not Happy. The one that is delivered is all wilted and update it died.

Having ordered 4pond plants from Lincsplants.com on the 2nd April 2025. And paid £10 for next day delivery, it is now April 8th and no signs of any deliveries being made, or even left the company.
Even though I had a mail on the 3rd of April telling me that my order had been shipped to Amazon. Having rung them, just got excuses, that they have 3days to dispatch orders.i then sent an email, explaining my problem, got a reply on the 5th understanding my frustration, especially as I had paid extra for Express Shipping, and more excuses,Still no signs of any plants being sent to me 8th April. If these plants ever arrive, I wonder after the reviews what state they will be.
I would not recommend using this Company, and certainly do no pay for next day delivery.
